Chapter 3

Five years have passed. Lalita has grown into a sweet and happy little girl. Her long hair is loose and decorated with a blue headband. When she walked, the almost white blonde hair fluttered with the sound of happy laughter from her owner, who was busy chasing his Omega nanny.

At dusk, the sweet girl's laughter grew louder when she saw her father coming home, causing her to immediately hug her father's legs and then snuggle into his arms. Occasionally, Daniel would toss his little daughter into the air and catch her back with a big smile. The tired feeling seemed to pay off when he saw his little angel laughing happily to welcome his return.

"Father's face is rough. Lalita doesn't like it," he said to Lalita, who was still in Daniel's arms, as he stroked his father's strong jaw, which was starting to grow a beard.

"Really? Then one day dad will shave under conditions..."Daniel finished his sentence.

"What are the conditions?" asked Lalita in surprise.

"Lalita must want to be tickled!" Daniel shouted, which immediately made Lalita scream and laugh at her father's tickle.

"Stop it," said a woman who looked very much like Lalita. Still laughing, Lalita tried to escape her father's grip and then ran to hug the woman's leg, who was none other than her mother.

"Mother, father is ignorant!" complained Lalita, now hiding behind her mother. Liliana smiled softly as she stroked her daughter's head, still clinging to her legs.

"Let your father rest first, he must be tired. Can't you smell his body?" said Liliana as she covered her nose with a finger.

"Mama's right, Daddy does smell," Lalita said laughing, confirming her mother's words.

"Then here you are.""Run..." Lalita shouted before her father caught her and then entered the house and disappeared from sight.

When it was felt that Lalita was gone, Daniel grabbed Liliana's waist possessively while whispering, "How about we make another one?".

Suddenly, Liliana pushed Daniel away and went after Lalita. But before Liliana was out of Daniel's sight, she turned and said.

"Think of Lalita's future first before you think of anything else," Daniel smiled mischievously. It had been so many years, but Liliana's attitude was still the same. Daniel was sure that his wife's cheeks would turn red.

"Lalita's asleep?" asked Daniel, noticing Liliana's presence as he rubbed shaving cream on his hairy face.

"Come on, it's amazing how diligently you shave. Usually you only want to shave when I scold you," Liliana joked.

"Mother and child are indeed the same," Daniel sighed while washing his smooth face again. Liliana chuckled softly at Daniel's complaint, knowing that neither she nor her daughter liked men with thin beards, let alone thick ones.

"I'm going to start training Lalita tomorrow, do you think it's too soon?" asked Daniel, starting a serious conversation.

"I don't think so. The sooner the better. Lalita can already hunt and track," Liliana said after thinking for a while."Hunting, since when?"Now Daniel was really surprised, mixed with guilt. What kind of father doesn't know his own daughter's development, even though they often meet from sunset to sunrise. But alas, Daniel is Beta, the representative of the Alpha King, the leader of the largest pack in the immortal world. Daniel has a lot of work to do to help the Alpha King manage the Eclipse Pack's territory, which is growing larger with every battle he wins, which has been happening lately.

Noticing the change in Daniel's expression, Liliana moved closer and hugged Daniel from behind, hoping that her touch would make Daniel feel more comfortable, and it worked.

"Hunting animals according to her age. Lalita is able to catch birds and rabbits. Her calm demeanor can draw the animals to her by itself. She's a special girl, so don't worry about her," Liliana said reassuringly as she stroked Daniel's bearded face. Daniel nodded and then cuddled his mate until morning.

Before the sun showed its rays, Lalita had already showered and tidied her beautiful hair, with her favorite blue headband as the only decoration. Before breakfast, Lalita would always play in the courtyard, playing with the dew or just touching the petals that were neatly arranged in the courtyard of the mansion.

Difa Omega, who is responsible for Lalita's care, has to be patient to monitor all of Lalita's activities, which are full of enthusiasm and curiosity. Once, Difa lost track of Lalita, so Beta Daniel himself stepped in to look for Lalita while changing shifts and in a state of confusion. Even five trained warriors were mobilized in the search.

Lalita was finally found near the border while trying to approach a stag with large, sharp-looking antlers. Difa saw it and tried to approach Lalita in a hurry, so the deer was surprised and almost rammed Lalita. Luckily it wasn't Daniel, but Werren arrived just in time and immediately pounced on the deer, biting it on the neck.

Lalita was crying, not because she was afraid, but because the deer that almost became her friend had died from Werren's attack. Remembering that incident made Difa feel very guilty. Besides, he didn't get any punishment at all, only Werren's room seemed to want to swallow him alive as a stern warning. Luck is still with Difa. The trust to take care of Lalita is still given today. That's why Difa will not waste a second chance with Lalita's parents, who are important members of the pack.

"Lalita, come in and have some breakfast, your mom and dad are waiting," Difa called after getting a mindlik from another Omega who was in charge of the kitchen. Lalita, who was watching a butterfly sitting on a red rose, argued and looked at Difa Omega, her nanny. As usual, Lalita went to the dining room as soon as Difa informed her that breakfast was about to begin. For him, breakfast is the warmest moment to be together with the family, just like dinner, considering that his father rarely has time because the work in the packhouse is so piling up.

"Morning father, mother," Lalita said cheerfully after sitting in her chair.

"Good morning, dear," Daniel replied.

After the routine ritual each morning is over. Daniel, as the head of the family, leads the prayer before breakfast begins. Then the breakfast continues with casual conversation as an accompaniment.

"So where's your lesson, dear?" he began.

"Tracking and hunting. Mother and Difa accompanied me to the forest. I managed to catch rabbits and birds without hurting them. I don't like catching animals by hurting them," Lalita was a little sad, remembering the bird that died from an arrow that pierced its belly.

"What a talent if you can catch these animals without hurting them," Daniel praised, making Lalita smile proudly.

"Lalita, from today on we will start training you. Do you mind?" said Liliana after a long silence at breakfast.

"Really, father too?" asked Lalita spontaneously with overflowing energy. Liliana nodded to make Lalita's enthusiasm even brighter, then quickly finished her breakfast.

"Werren's father, I want to wrestle Werren's father." Lalita exclaimed when she was already in the courtyard of the mansion.

Daniel raised his eyebrows in surprise while Werren roared with joy in Daniel's mind.

Let me out,' Werren howled, jumping up and down with joy. Daniel snorted, but still followed the wishes of the wolf and his beloved daughter.

The sound of cracking bones was heard, followed by the appearance of a large gray wolf with thick fur and golden eyes, standing erect. The wolf, usually fierce looking with eagle-like eyes that are intimidating on the battlefield, now groaned softly in front of the little girl with almost white blond hair.

Lalita's smile faded and was replaced by a serious expression, then she took a stance that was not trained for attack. A kick was about to be aimed at the gray wolf's muzzle, but the wolf backed away instead and decided to run.

"Father Werren, why are you running, you want to play tag with me, huh?" cried Lalita as she tried to catch her father's wolf, which was twice his size.Lalita ran around the yard following the movements of her father's gray wolf, who was so agile. Loud laughter erupted as Lalita saw Werren make ridiculous leaps and landings to avoid Lalita, but in one leap Lalita managed to grab Werren's back and then sway, laughing.

Werren roared in resignation as Lalita tickled his fallen body while occasionally rolling to the left and right, making Lalita even more passionate about her father's gray wolf. The game ended with Lalita hugging the gray wolf tightly and stroking his cotton-soft fur.

"Okay, so when are you going to practice?" Liliana interrupted, pinching Lalita's little nose.

Daniel is back in his new human form, the real training begins. Liliana watched from the terrace as she knitted a white wool scarf.

"All members of the Eclipse Pack know how to fight. We don't just rely on the wolf in us. Do you understand?" Daniel said after Lalita's training was over.

"I understand, Dad. So you'll train me every day?"

"Dad can't, but mom and your personal trainer will train you," Lalita's face turned dark. Daniel, realizing this, immediately crouched down in front of his daughter, hoping for understanding.

"Dad, I'm really sorry, but when I have free time, I'll train you myself. You know dad found a trainer that's perfect for you. He's friendly and funny. You'll love him," Daniel continued, trying to comfort Lalita and succeeding.

"Is it true that I will have such a personal trainer?"

He nodded."Dad promise?"

"Promise," then Lalita's little finger net intertwined with her father's little finger as a symbol of the promise made.

The next day, a teenage shewolf arrives just before Daniel leaves for the packhouse. The girl was sixteen years old, her black hair pulled back in a neat ponytail.

"Hello Lalita, I'm Saras. Starting today I will be training you," Saras greeted Lalita, who was a little shy at first, but over time Lalita began to like Saras. Outside of training, Saras is very friendly and funny. Meanwhile, during training, Saras looked serious and firm, but remained patient in training a young werewolf of Lalita's age.

"Keep your elbow straight and draw the arrow closer to your cheek. Don't forget to watch the target in front of you with one eye closed," Saras said, correcting Lalita's position, which was not quite right.

"Now aim."

SRETT...

JLEB...

"The arrow missed," Lalita groaned after her fifth attempt.

"Not far, try again," Saras cheered.

Once again Lalita took an arrow from the box and began to attach it to the bowstring. Focus and concentration began to gather on the target, the small red dot in the center. The dark gray pupils stared straight at that point, then drew the arrow steadily and released it confidently. It took a few seconds for the arrow to fly before it hit deep enough.

The arrow hit the center of the target."Lalita, you did it," Saras immediately hugged the little girl who was smiling happily at her success.

"Sis, how does it feel to have a wolf?" asked Lalita as the exercise ended.

"It's amazing, you won't feel alone because the wolf inside you will always be there to support you," Saras whispered as she gently stroked Lalita's hair.

"Really, when do I get to meet my wolf?" asked Lalita with sparkling eyes.

"You'll find out later, usually a werewolf meets his wolf at a young age but can't change shifts yet, there are also werewolves who meet their wolf immediately and change shifts at the same time. nothing bad can happen."

"Terrifying," Lalita squeaked with a shudder.

"If the werewolf makes it through the first shift change and gets to know the wolf, then it is believed that he will become a formidable werewolf."

"Which period did you go through?" Saras thought for a moment before answering Lalita's question.

"The second. My wolf is hard sometimes. Aw," the nerves in Saras' head buzzed from everyone's irritated howls of protest. Lalita giggled at the sight of Saras' changing expression, as if she were arguing with someone who was none other than her own wolf.

"I want to see wolf brother," Lalita asked after the little argument between Saras and the wolf was over. Saras was silent for a moment before smiling and agreeing to Lalita's request.

Another painful sound of bones cracking was heard before a beautiful wolf, jet black on the back and white on the underside of the muzzle, belly and legs, appeared and walked gracefully towards Lalita.

"Sera," Lalita cried and ran to hug the wolf tightly around the neck."Sera," Lalita cried, running to hug the she-wolf tightly around the neck.

One thing puzzles Saras. How could Lalita know the wolf's name if Saras never told Lalita?

A young girl ponders boredly as she occasionally plays with the dagger in her hand. A silver dagger that is still too big for a girl of Lalita's age. A beautiful dagger, a gift from Saras two days ago, with his name engraved on one side of the blade.

The sun was approaching his throne. Saras still hasn't come, forcing Lalita to practice alone. One by one, she threw the daggers on the table at the designated target.

Tired, Lalita sits down again, watching her incredibly sharp dagger. Six months have passed. During this time, Saras has been actively training him every day. Saras patiently teaches physics and logic. The use of weapons is an absolute skill, not to mention self-defense. That's the principle Saras follows to be crowned as one of the youngest tough warriors in the Eclipse Pack.

"Waiting for Saras?" asked Liliana, who was sitting next to Lalita.

"Mom, why hasn't Sis Saras come yet?" Lalita almost whined.

Her mother's calm gaze did not reassure Lalita. Even though her mother's fingers gently stroked her long, loose hair.

The dagger was a gift from Saras? Lalita nodded.

"Unfortunately, Saras can't come, because she has found her mate and follows him wherever he goes."

Thump...

"You're lying, aren't you? Sis Saras didn't come today, but he will definitely come tomorrow!"Liliana shook her head, causing a drop of clear water to fall. Liliana quickly hugged her little daughter who began to sob.

"I don't want another trainer, I just want Kak Saras! I don't need the dagger, I want Kak Saras!" screamed Lalita between sobs.

"Why did Saras come if he left in the end!"

"Mother is here. It's okay if you don't want another trainer, your mom and dad will train you," Liliana comforted Lalita while rubbing her back to calm her down.

The memory of Saras seems to cut Lalita's heart. The girl couldn't forget Saras and Sera easily, considering they were her first friends. Even Lalita had hoped to play and train with Sera when her wolf woke up. Now everything is destroyed. Saras had come and now she is gone.

Maybe forever.
