Chapter 7

Rione please answer me

Rione'

In the end, Lalita snorted again, disappointed. Her tears flowed again. For almost a week now, he hasn't felt Rione in him at all. Lalita, who was usually cheerful, was now moody and often locked herself in her room, hugging her legs.

Saras and Xander often came to visit her, making Xander forget a bit about his purpose in the Eclipse Pack. Her mate's sadness makes the young Alpha uneasy. Despite his young age, Xander is a good and capable Alpha. Especially with the presence of his mate Saras, Lunanya, which makes him even stronger.

As a werewolf, Lalita's self-healing ability is quite fast. The wounds on his body were almost completely covered, but the emptiness in his heart was unbearable. Without the wolf, Lalita's life seems monotonous, empty, without color. Lalita became less talkative. If not asked, Lalita would not speak, even if asked, Lalita would just nod or shake her head. Her appetite also decreased. It took a lot of effort to get Lalita to eat. Eliminating a single plate of food a day was already a huge improvement after Rione wasn't around.

Everyone is trying to find a way to get Lalita back to normal. Even Saras has given up trying to get Lalita to practice. The situation was indeed quite difficult, not to mention the practice of persuading Lalita to leave the room. Finally, Liliana thought of a way to get Lalita back to the camp. Who knows, maybe meeting her friends would make Lalita feel better than sitting curled up in bed. It's amazing how it works. Lalita is ready to go back to camp and train.

"Be careful," Liliana whispered before Lalita entered the training camp.

The atmosphere of the camp is still the same. Crowded, crowded, but full of breathtaking surprises. But all this is meaningless without Rione. Lalita walked with her head down, so deep in her own thoughts that it took more than three times her name was called for Lalita to really wake up.

"Lalita, I'm so glad you finally came. I was so worried," Ariella said enthusiastically, unlike Lalita who just nodded at Ariella.

"Still sick?" Ariella asked, surprised to see Lalita's somber face.

"No," Lalita replied briefly.

"I've heard what happened to you from several warriors," Ariella's face turned sad for Lalita.

"So you already know?" asked Lalita in a flat voice, almost like a statement.

"Yes, Astoria is really mean."

"What are you saying!" snapped the light brown haired girl in a challenging position.

"Listen Ariella, you're just a warrior's daughter, very different from me. So you don't deserve to talk about me like that, and oh yeah..." Astoria looked at Lalita condescendingly.

"A werewolf who can't change shifts should just leave. Does a werewolf without a wolf deserve to be here?"

Lalita's patience had reached its limit. All the expressions of hatred, all the anger began to accumulate, making Lalita's hands clench tightly with rage.

"No need to wait for us to leave," Ariella asked, pulling Lalita's hand.

But Lalita refused to leave, "My patience is running out," he hissed with full emphasis on every word.

"What are you going to do? Without your wolf you are nothing," Astoria sneered, then laughed.

Another shiver of hate ran through her. Lalita's blood rippled violently as it boiled. Rione's disappearance was his fault for innocently trusting Astoria, or even her fault for touching Astoria: "I can't change shifts, but I can still scratch your face with my own fingernails! Lalita shouted, then threw a right punch to Astoria's jaw, making Ariella gasp.

Astoria fell awkwardly from the shock and didn't have time to dodge as she touched his throbbing jaw. It was the first time anyone had dared to hit Astoria. Even Alpha and Luna had never hit him directly.

"You're really brave!" Astoria shouted angrily, then stood up and threw a counterpunch.

Lalita dodged and then caught Astoria's hand and twisted it tightly. Not only that, Lalita even kicked both of Astoria's knees, causing the light brown haired girl to fall to her knees. Lalita's hands didn't stay still either, one hand gripped Astoria's hand while the free hand grabbed Astoria's hair. Satisfied, Lalita kicked Astoria's back, causing her to fall tragically to the ground.

Crazy with emotions running high from being so soundly defeated, Astoria got up while brushing the dirt from her clothes. A kick was aimed at Lalita's chest, but again Lalita managed to dodge, then countered Astoria's attack with a spinning kick that hit Astoria's solar plexus.Lalita stepped on Astoria's stomach, then slapped her face while grabbing Astoria's light brown hair, which was now a mess. As Lalita promised. He'll cut Astoria with his fingernail and so be it. Four cuts dripping with fresh blood oozed from Astoria's right cheek after Lalita dug in her fingernails, which weren't even sharp. The wound on Astoria's cheek will heal, but it will leave a scar. Though it's not obvious, the scars will be there forever and ever.

After a few drops of blood had flowed, Lalita slapped Astoria's cheeks again, causing a small splash of blood on her own hand.

Astoria didn't react at all. Her whole body throbbed and her bones ached. The morning after the incident with Lalita, Astoria felt incredibly scared when she saw the Alpha Guardian overcome with emotion after talking to Beta Daniel. Astoria's fear grew as the two Omegas she had previously mistreated dragged her into the dungeon by force.

A warrior stands by with a whip and chains. The next incident was the same as when Astoria was caught bullying a friend of her own age, only this time it was worse. Alpha Sentinel, in half transformation mode, came and shouted loudly in front of Astoria, making the poor girl's ears ring. The whip and plank took turns hitting his small body, which was covered in bruises and scratches. Astoria no longer screams when she is whipped or beaten. He just whimpered a little in pain, but refused to admit his mistake.

When the punishment was over, Astoria looked up and saw only Alpha and Luna, her adoptive parents. Luna Lyra, who usually smiled while gently stroking her hair, now looked at him coldly. As if there had been regrets when the Anderson family had made him a member."These wounds still do not compare to those of Lalita, who lost her wolf," Alpha Sentinel thundered.

After that, Astoria was left alone in the dungeon, standing in a chained position for a whole day, before she was medicated and forced to train at the camp two days later. The little girl's tears flowed freely, as did her hatred. While in the Astoria dungeon, you know that Hynmoni was there. In one of the darkest corners, she looked at him sadly, unable to do anything.

"These injuries are still nothing compared to mine," Lalita's words brought Astoria back to reality.

A final punch that Lalita wanted to throw with all her strength failed when her fist almost touched Astoria's face, which was now covered in bruises and blood. Lalita turned her head and shot a wild look at the figure holding her arm.

"That's enough," he said as Lalita's dark gray eyes met those of ocean-deep blue.

"Stay out of my way," Lalita hissed, then violently jerked the man's hand away to give Astoria another blow.

But what happened next was completely unexpected. Lalita was blasted away from Astoria with the powerful werewolf strength typical of Anderson's lineage. Lalita's hands and feet were scratched from rubbing against the ground with small but sharp stones. Sean himself was shocked and felt guilty about what he had just done.

A Sean Anderson feels guilty. Looks like hell just froze over,' he joked Wolf and as usual Sean didn't take it.

Lalita tried to sit up and looked at the wound. Suddenly there was someone beside her looking at Lalita with concern. Lalita could see the bruises on the boy's temples and chin. Also some cream bandages on her cheeks."Are you all right?" the Sky Herder asked with her shadowed brown eyes. Lalita just shook her head.

"Oh my God Lalita, are you okay?" asked Xander who suddenly came and crouched down right in front of Lalita.

At first Lalita was just silent and looked at Xander sadly. Gradually, clear tears began to fall from his eyelids. Little by little, drop by drop, Lalita's shoulders began to shake. "Give Rione back," Lalita said firmly, even though she was in tears.

"Give Rione back, no matter what, give me back my Rione!!!"Lalita burst into tears. Unable to hold on, Xander finally took Lalita into his arms, stroking her back.

"What did I do wrong for the Moon Goddesses to take Rione away from me? Please, no matter what happens, bring Rione back to me," Lalita cried between sobs.

"Already, dear, already," Xander whispered, trying to calm Lalita.

"It's okay, calm down, I'm here, everything's going to be okay," Xander whispered again then took the little girl out of the training camp.

The House Eclipse Pack feels even more gripping for anyone with bad intentions.

Because some of the holders of great power were there. Specifically, Professor Wizard Arthur Reamond and Vice Professor Johanna, two Alphas and one of the strongest Betas at the moment. Accompanied by their respective mates, they gather in a secret library located underground, under the Packhouse Library to be exact.

A table with a single candle burning in the middle as the only light, and chairs lined up around the table as the place to discuss the secret meeting.

"We have to tell him, his condition is getting worse because he thought his wolf was dead," said a man with dark blue eyes and a domineering aura typical of all Alphas.

"Calm down Alpha, there is a time for everything. I can see that you really love Lalita. How about Lalita coming with you and Luna Saras for a few years," Alpha Sentinel suggested.

"With all due respect, Alpha. Separating him from his parents, no way. He's still a child," Luna Saras said in surprise.

I agree with Saras. Xander added.

"Very well then, I will tell you what our people's secret is about the White Blood of the Eclipse Pack ten thousand years ago," the Alpha Sentinel said seriously.

"Does it have something to do with the white wolf Lalita?" asked Saras."That's right, Luna. That's why we don't allow Lalita to change shifts unless it's really urgent," Beta Daniel said, sitting next to Liliana.

"It is better for Lalita to stay in a less influential pack like the Eclipse Pack. Information about Lalita needs to be kept as secret as possible. Besides, White Blood was last born in the Eclipse Pack, the oldest pack that still exists today." The Grand Master Wizard joined in.

"Why isn't Lalita sent to Halellau immediately, where she will always be safe under the protection of the wizards?" suggested Saras.

"Luna Saras, isn't that the same as usurping Lalita's rights as a werewolf? You said it was impossible to separate Lalita from her parents. How can you raise a werewolf in the wizard environment when there is still a safe pack for her? Except in an emergency," Johanna answered seriously.

"I am the mother, I will do anything for my daughter, and I agree to take Lalita away for her safety," Liliana said.

"Astoria could be a plausible excuse if Lalita goes away for a while," Daniel said, supporting Liliana.

The witches have begun to move to break the spell at the border of the Dark Land. They are getting stronger while the wizard's magic is getting weaker. I'm sure there must be some witches who already know something about White Blood. That is why Lalita needs to be in a safe place along with the training. Tight and strong so that he can withstand any circumstance," she added.

"The safest place is the Silver Moon Pack. It is in a place in the middle of the four big packs. Blue Moon Pack to the south, White Moon Pack to the north, Blood Moon Pack to the west, and of course, Eclipse Pack to the east, with enough forest and meadow breaks wide enough. The warrior abilities of the Silver Moon Pack are also not to be doubted," Alpha Sentinel explained as he opened the map.

"As a teenager, Lalita will be sent to Hallelau for more rigorous training before returning to the Eclipse Pack," everyone in the room agreed with the Grand Master Wizard's suggestion, including Saras and Xander.

When the meeting was over, everyone left the room. Only the partially melted red candle remained on the table. After the candle was extinguished, the entire room became pitch black and tense.

    • *Luna Lyra looked like she was going to cry when she had to see Lalita, who was about to leave. The packhouse will be the departure point for Lalita and the Alpha Xander packs to join the Silver Moon pack.

"I'm sorry if I'm making a mistake, but I don't want to go," Lalita sobbed, then hugged Liliana tightly.

"No honey. You will have new friends and new experiences with Saras in the Silver Moon Pack. Don't you like animals? There are many beautiful peacocks in the meadows," Liliana said, trying to be strong.

"Without father and mother?" Lalita's tears fell again.

"It's okay, your mom and dad will visit you, that's for sure," Saras said and gently wiped away Lalita's tears.

"Please take care of Lalita, Alpha Xander," Daniel said as he shook Xander's hand.

"I will, Beta Daniel. Don't worry," Daniel patted Xander's shoulder in the familiar way of father and son.

Before leaving, Lalita said goodbye to Alpha Sentinel and Luna Lyra. How good they are. Lalita is not ready to leave her beloved pack, her birthplace. Neither are her friends. Lalita looked at Sean, "I'll miss you," Sky said as their irises met. Lalita nodded and smiled, as did Sky.

"Ready?" Xander asked Lalita who was sitting on the front saddle of the horse. Lalita nodded, but before Xander could pull the reins, the sound of Lalita's name being called interrupted them.

"Lalita, are you leaving?" asked Ariella with a breath that was as much running as Silvi's.

Lalita immediately dismounted and rushed to hug her two best friends. Sobs broke out between the three little girls, moving everyone who saw them.

"I have to go. Take care of yourselves," Lalita said as she wiped away her tears.

"You too," Silvia said.

"Don't forget us," Ariella added, making Lalita chuckle softly."I've only been gone a few years. How could I forget you," Lalita tried to smile but couldn't.

"A few years is a long time," Ariella and Silvi said together.

"Fine, I won't forget. See you later," Lalita can finally smile, even though it's bitter.

The words of farewell were heavy. Lalita gets back into the saddle with Xander. As the reins were shaken, the horse neighed and started to run through the dense forest.

It seems I have missed a lot while I was away,' a voice said in Lalita's head.

'Rione, is that really you?

'How many wolves do you think are in you?' Rione tried to joke, but Lalita wasn't in the mood for a joke.

'I'm serious, I thought you were.

'No. I will never leave you. I won't. I only hid in your deepest side to heal myself because my wolf body was seriously injured back then.

'That's why I can't feel your presence?

'Right, and where are we going now?

'Silver Moon Pack.
