I read the comments one by one. The notice was screenshot by some creators and shared on TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, threads, and even Facebook. Who uses Facebook nowadays? I grew tired of the messages on Weverse and shifted to TikTok.

I should have switched off my phone and watched a movie. The comments on TikTok were beyond mean. People I have never seen or met, felt entitled to comment about me and what they thought I should do. They made fun of my face, hair, body, clothes, shoes, and even the bag I was carrying. Nothing was left untouched.

They tore me apart bit by bit until they felt good about themselves. I suppose that is the only thing they could do in this situation. Their comments and opinions were not going to change his mind and they knew it. So the best next thing was to tear down the woman he loved. Why were they so bitter though?

However, I didn't care for their comments. I found the amusing and entertaining. The things they came up with were so much more interesting than the truth. If only it happened how they thought it did. If they knew our story they would laugh at how plain it was.

Their theories of why we were together were wild. They were divided into four. Some concluded I was blackmailing him with something big that could end his career. Others thought I was pregnant and about to start showing, so he had to announce it to avoid pushback from the public and investors.

Others believed I was with him for his money. They painted me as a struggling low-class doctor who couldn't make ends meet. They were convinced I was using him for my gain.

The last one was the wildest. They claimed I had bewitched him. Since I was from Africa, I must have put a spell on him and that was why he was in love with me and willing to ruin his career. They wondered why he would date outside his race when there were more beautiful women from his country.

I admit there are so many beautiful women in the world. Some are more beautiful than me. Women who made heads turn and people trip when they walked past them. I was not those women but I knew I was beautiful. So these fools who were trying to lower my self-esteem were not working. They made me feel even prouder of my looks and figure.

I grew up in a family and in an environment where no one was discriminated against for their looks or color. Black women in different shades and sizes were celebrated. With different personalities, values, virtues, and interests. We were all welcomed and appreciated for who we were.

I wasn't an insecure girl who would recoil into herself and cry. I was a strong woman who would smack my haters. If I met the person who started this chain of reaction, I would beat them to a pulp. How dare they try to ruin my life?

If she or any other woman thought Namjoon belonged to them, they should come find me and let us settle it in a fight to the death. I was not going to encourage nonsense in my life or my boyfriend's life. I was ready to defend my relationship and my man from any threat including people who were considered friends.
