BAB 2

Livi shook Jiah's shoulder to wake her up.

With half-closed eyes, Jiah stared at the person disturbing her sleep. "What is it?"

"Let's go," she said.

Jiah frowned. "Where to?"

"Of course the Western kingdom, I can't wait to see the Western Kingdom which is famous for its luxury!" Jiah woke up from her sleep and saw Livi, who was neatly dressed in a servant outfit, looking at the clock which said it was three o'clock in the morning.

"Ah…" Jiah buried her face into the pillow.

She raised her head and ruffled her hair.

"It's too early to leave, Livi!" she is angry.

Livi pressed her lips together. "But I couldn't sleep at all."

Jiah took a deep breath and smiled.

"Since you can't sleep, can you help me to help me pack up all my things?" Livi smiled innocently.

"Yes, Boss." Livi made a respectful pose and then ran to find a bag and put Jiah's belongings in the bag.

Seeing the obedient Livi, Jiah immediately smiled. "Don't disturb my sleep, wake me up at six in the morning."

Jiah went straight to sleep, while Livi enthusiastically packed Jiah's needs.

"Baby wait… we will get married soon. You can't just walk away."

Jiah tried to open her eyes but the bright light made it hard to see the face of the man in front of her.

The man hugged her while riding a horse, Jiah could even feel the warmth of the man's embrace in front of her.

"Wait just a moment, I beg you…"

Jiah's vision got clearer, she could see the man's Adam's apple, which looked hansome. His skin was white with sweat dripping down it, making him look very charming.

The man wore long green earrings that fluttered from riding, slowly Jiah almost saw his face.

"Jiah wake up quickly."

Jiah immediately opened her eyes, she saw a familiar place and saw Livi beside her.

"Where is he?" Jiah asked.

Livi was confused. "Who is he?" Jiah was getting impatient.

"Of course my future husband."

Livi covered her mouth in shock. "Do you secretly have a lover behind my back?" Jiah frowned.

"Of course not stupid."

"Why did you say you have a future husband?" Jiah was silent.

She looked at the clock which showed five in the morning. Jiah rubbed her face roughly, she looked directly at Livi

'It's just a dream

"Why did you wake me up?" she asked.

"Because you told me to."

Hearing Livi's words she just remembered. Jiah immediately stood up and took the dress and left.

Livi chased her. "Where are you going?" Jiah turned around.

"Of course take a shower."

Livi nodded and didn't follow Jiah away.

The clock struck eight in the morning, and the sound of trumpets sounded signaling that Prince Shen's retinue would begin their journey.

Jiah, Livi, Melisa, and other servants were already in the special line of servants, which was behind the prince.

The Prince saluted the King and Queen, after which Prince Shen boarded the horse carriage.

Jiah and another maid joined the 2nd-row carriage of the servant group. She looked at the other servant and remembered the message from Aunt Bianca.

Jiah sighed when she saw Livi who was looking out the window like a child in contrast to the servant beside her who looked very alert.

It took about three days on the way to the Western Kingdom. During those three days, Jiah made peace with Melisa, who was always after her.

They shared the task and promised not to embarrass their kingdom, namely the Eastern kingdom.

After camping in the forest, the next morning they went to the West kingdom. That night they finally arrived at the border of the kingdom which was heavily guarded by bodyguards and finally entered the territory of the western kingdom.

Jiah was amazed when she saw the Western Kingdom. Indeed, these rumors were not completely wrong. Even the people's houses were decorated with colorful ribbons and signs.

As the train was running, many citizens gathered and saw the Eastern Empire's entourage.

"Watch your behavior while you're here, don't embarrass the Eastern kingdom," suggested Melisa.

The four of them looked at Melissa with determination.

"Especially you Livi," said Melisa.

Pointed at herself. "I?" Jiah raised her hand to stop Melisa from speaking.

"Just let me keep an eye on her."

Seeing Melissa's disbelieving look made her irritated.

"Why? You don't trust me?" Melissa sighed and shook her head.

Jiah gave her a hurt look.

"Stop your drama, to leave Livi under your tutelage. If it's your fault."

Melisa stopped her words and made a decapitating motion.

Jiah smiled awkwardly and she nodded.

"Calm down, I will take care of you," said Livi.

Jiah nodded stiffly.

A few minutes later they finally entered the palace.

"The Eastern Kingdom entourage enters the palace."

A scream was heard and the gate opened.

Servants have already lined up to help the eastern empire. Jiah and the other servants got down, they walked towards the prince's place Shen.

Prince Shen came down, the wind blowing the long white hair that looked very delicate. Beside him stood Yoga, Prince Shen's confidant.

A servant from the Western Kingdom led them into the banquet hall.

The big door opened. Jiah saw the ornaments engraved on the Kingdom pillars showing its splendor. There is a fountain surrounded by two dragons.

Jiah also bowed when Prince Shen did.

"Welcome to the Western kingdom Prince Shen," said the King.

There was Her Highness the Queen sitting next to the king and beside the king was a man who looked very handsome beyond Prince Shen, even some princesses and princes sat there but not as attractive as that man.

"Yes, Your Majesty."

"How was your trip?"

"Smooth your majesty."

Jiah saw the new faces and remembered where they sat because where they sat dictated the importance of the position they held. Like that man with dark red hair who sat beside the king, it was obvious that his position was highly respected by the king.

"Your Highness, they must be tired after a long journey, let them rest," said the Queen.

Raja nodded with a friendly smile. "Of course, I know my Queen. Serevant! Take Prince Shen and his entourage to rest in his room."

A servant comes. "Yes, your majesty."

"I and my servant please excuse us first, your majesty," said Prince Shen.

The king nodded. "Please."

They followed the servant away to rest.

It wasn't long before they spoke of the prince, because the room prepared for them was different.

When Jiah and the other servants were in their room they decided to rest.

"Gosh, I'm so tired," said Livi.

Melisa and the others are still busy arranging their things that have been placed in front of the bed.

"Melissa… can I go for a walk?" Melisa stopped her activities for a moment without looking at Livi.

Melisa gets the job of looking after them, of course, Livi has to ask permission from her.

"No."

Livi pouted, she looked at Jiah who pretended not to see her.

After tidying up Melissa's things, she immediately sat on the bed. "You guys rest, don't let tomorrow morning make trouble."

They nodded, and Melisa turned off the light.

Jiah glanced at Livi who looked asleep.

They finally fell asleep, when they felt they were all asleep. Livi slowly got up from her bed.

Jiah closed her eyes even though Livi shook her shoulder. Seeing that Jiah wasn't awake she decided to leave.

Jiah breathed a sigh of relief but a few minutes later she didn't see Livi who came back at all. After trying to sleep but completely unable, Jiah decided to catch up with Livi.

She glanced at her sleeping friend. "I hope Melissa sleeps soundly."

Close the door slowly.
