BAB 4
Jiah immediately stood up while putting the remaining half of the bread on the tray. The woman beside her stared at Jiah's figure who had left in confusion, the woman immediately threw the bread into the trash.
Within the crowd, Jiah looked in all directions only to find the figure of the man earlier. She ran until she heard laughter, turned sideways, and saw a man with green earrings making her smile involuntarily.
Jiah immediately ran towards the man, she even had to jostle with servants who were passing by.
"Tanga is going through!" hearing someone's call Jiah turned around.
An old man was carrying a long and slightly swinging ladder, several maids eagerly avoided him as was the norm.
"Oh no."
She instantly backed away but accidentally sprained her leg.
bruh…
Jiah fell, and the man behind her immediately backed away.
"Ouch…"
Jiah endured the pain, she felt annoyed because the people behind her didn't help her at all. Jiah stood up and turned to stare angrily at the man in front of her.
"Shit," She cursed.
"Who are you mad at?!" he got angry.
Jiah's face immediately turned pale when she looked at Prince Agri's face.
All the maids who were there were not bothered at all by Agri's anger, because it was common in the kingdom.
Jiah prepared mentally, she immediately ran away from Agri who didn't chase after her at all but stared at her sharply.
"Investigate the maid," ordered Agri.
"Yes, Master."
Agri's servant immediately left.
After feeling tired from running, Jiah stopped near the animal enclosure. She leaned her shoulder against the pillar.
A rabbit came to her.
"What is this creature, so cute…"
Seeing the little white fluffy rabbit, the rabbit turned around and left. Jiah, who likes small furry animals, immediately ran after her.
Seeing that the rabbit was hiding in the tree hole, she crouched down and stretched out her finger.
"Sweet bunny…"
Woof….
Woof…
Woof…
Jiah turned around at the sound of a dog. The dog with golden fur pounced on it and licked it, causing Jiah to lie down on the grass because she couldn't push the dog away.
"Asui stop it!" The dog stopped licking it.
A handsome man came and tugged at the dog's leash, but the dog paid her no heed.
"Excuse me, maid," he said.
The man pulled the dog's leash firmly. Jiah was stunned when she saw the handsome man in front of her.
"It's okay sir," Jiah replied.
The man's smile made Jiah's heart calm because the man's face looked very calm, especially his shady eyes were bright green.
"Are you a new maid here?" The man looked at Jiah.
Jiah shook her head. "I am Prince Shen's servant."
"Forgive me for thinking you're the new maid here It turned out you are a servant Prince Shen, what are you doing here?"
Jiah was silent she couldn't possibly explain that she had gone into the kitchen and found the man in her dream who was being searched for and accidentally got involved with Prince Agri then because she was tired of chasing rabbits. The man in front of her will laugh at her.
"I'm lost," Jiah lied.
The man nodded. "I can take you, where are you going?" Jiah waved her ladder.
"No, it will be troublesome."
"No problem," replied the man.
Jiah smiled shyly. "I have to go to where Prince Shen is."
"I think I know, I will escort you."
Jiah felt a bit awkward. "Okay, thanks."
The man nodded. "Thank you again."
The man walked first, while Jiah followed behind him.
Jiah who stared at the man was dressed like a noble with jet-black hair.
"Who are you?" The man smiled without turning around.
"I'm the second prince of the Western kingdom," he replied with a smile making Jiah speechless.
'The second prince? It means he is the prince of Weseel, famous for not being competent.'
"I'm sorry Prince, I don't recognize the prince," said Jiah
Jiah stopped and almost knelt, luckily Weseel turned and held her back.
"Don't be afraid, after all a prince is just a title," said Weseel
'But he is very good, very different from his brother.'
Jiah smiled and looked at him in awe.
The little rabbit came out, the dog saw it and immediately chased it so it pulled Weseel to chase a rabbit hiding behind Jiah.
Jiah almost fell over, but Weseel grabbed her by the collar and pulled her up.
'Jeez, what embarrassing situation is this?'
"Servant forgives me," Weseel said.
"It's impolite to apologize to the Serevant, prince."
Weseel felt a bit guilty, but he also couldn't touch a woman without permission.
"It doesn't mean that because I'm a prince I can freely do bad things to servants."
Weseel was right, with his thought. 'Prince Weseel is too kind.'
"You are right prince, now can you show the way?" Jiah replied.
Weseel nodded, and Jiah followed him from behind.
Weseel explained what places they were going through, for a moment Jiah stopped she didn't even listen to Weseel's words.
Her eyes lit up staring at a man who had green earrings carrying a big sack.
Jiah immediately ran after him. Weseel who felt no response looked back and saw Jiah was no longer there.
"Where is she going? Did she get lost again?" Wesel said slowly.
Jiah, out of breath, went straight into the bread room. A male servant who saw her wanted to tell her to come out but Jiah immediately pushed the man away and walked towards the man who was putting flour into a large bowl.
Jiah's heart was pounding she couldn't wait to meet him.
Seeing the man's handsome face covered in a bit of flour made him look cute in her eyes.
"I'm sorry you had to—" Jiah immediately pushed the male maid away backward, she didn't care about the others at all.
Jiah touched the sleeve of the green-eared man with her finger.
"Excuse me…" The man with green earrings looked directly at Jiah.
"Yes, What's up?" Jiah fell silent.
'Her voice is so sweet, even his face is like a cute baby.'
The green-eared man waved his hand in front of Jiah's dumbfounded face.
"Hello," he said.
Jiah immediately woke up, she smiled broadly. "That… what is the name of—"
"Jiah!" Livi came in and pulled Jiah tightly.
"Wait..." Jiah stretched out her hand towards the man with green earrings, unfortunately, the man didn't understand.
"Do you know her?" asked the man who was pushed by Jiah earlier to the man with Green earrings.
"No." continue their baking activities.
Jiah didn't think that knows that Livi has great strength like an elephant, whereas Livi looks weak with her small body.
Jiah wanted to cry when the opportunity to ask the man's name disappeared.
Livi dragged her to the corner of the big door.
"What is it?" Jiah almost cried.
"Melisa told me to tell you that you have a great opportunity to give gifts to His Majesty the King, and you have the opportunity to meet the queen's grandmother this afternoon," Livi said happily.
Jiah nodded "Okay."
"Some say the queen's grandmother's life is not long, you have to be careful."
Jiah looked at Livi with fear, if Livi had said that maybe it would have related to her.
"Damn you Livi, don't scare me."
Livi shook her head. "No, I heard about it from Melisa's friend."
'Watch out you friends Melisa.'
Livi raised her hand and raised her index finger. "One more thing, for the banquet you should ask Liliana, she is a royal servant."
"Alright, leave everything to me, I'll go first."
Livi nodded and clenched her hands into fists.
Jiah then turned towards a place near the banquet hall where a lot of people were there.
Jiah's eyes turned white when she collided with a female servant, after her eyes changed color again she looked for that woman but she couldn't find her.
"Shit," she cursed.
I can't blame fate for not getting what I wanted
