CHAPTER THREE
^Rachel^
After looking around, I finally found a door at the left corner of the room.
"Don't. I assure you, you won't regret staying. Have lunch with me first or leave through that door."
I contemplated on his offer. As crazy as if was, I wanted to know why he went through all these. Plus, I'll be buying time then when I finally leave, I'll call Ian and everything would be fine.
"Let's eat."
I said before taking a seat waiting for him to serve the food.
We ate**literal silence. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop but he said nothing. After eating, he simply got up and cleared the dishes, washed them before finally returning.
"So, now that we're all filled."
I gulped cleaning my lips with a napkin.
"You're a stripper right."
He stated although it was supposed to be a question.
"Yes."
I responded coldly.
"And you work at kid way club "
"Yes."
I answered again.
"Good. I'll be coming there this evening."
My mind flashed to what the girls were talking about last night. It's either he's the man which means he's also rich.
"That's good."
I responded nearly rolling my eyes.
"Yeah. Aren't you going to ask why I'm coming?"
"Why does any man come to strip club."
I chuckled resting my back.
"I'm in need of a fake wife. We won't get married but I'll tell people we're engaged."
I started laughing immediately.
"You need someone like that and you're coming to a strip club?"
I asked surprised.
"I'm coming there for that precise reason."
He responded curtly. He composure was making me frightened.
"I'm confused."
I stated simply.
"You see my family they have a certain standard. I told them I'm getting married and they expect the perfect bride. I told them I'm in love with her so if they see a misfit, a stripper. They'll have no choice but to say no. I'll say I'm heartbroken and buy myself a few years."
He said and everything made a little more sense.
"So you want to use a stripper."
"I wouldn't say use. The relationship would be platonic and of course I'll pay her."
He said with a charming smile.
"That's not a bad idea actually but what I fail to understand is how I fit into this master plan."
I said and he got up walking towards me. He stopped right behind me.
"You see, you're going to help me find the right girl. You worked there the longest so you know everyone."
He whispered directly into my ear, tucking my hair behind them.
"Do you think you can."
He added as a shiver ran straight through my spine.
"You could've just asked instead of kidnapping me."
I stuttered unable to move.
"Oh come on now, that wouldn't have been fun."
He said turning the chair so I could face him. He placed his palm on both sides of my chair staring at me.
"Now Miss Sinclair, are you going to help find the worse fake, not real wife."
He proposed and I smirked.
"What's in it for me."
I responded narrowing my gaze.
"Whatever you want."
He retorted making me bite my lips.
"Alright then."
I said thinking of the perfect thing to ask.
What ***u think she'll ask?
