My Kind Of Man
The next day I wake up with a pounding headache; I had too much wine, way too much wine. I lift my head off the pillow to get up. It's throbbing too much; I can't move; I drop my head back in the pillow. It smells spicy; I immediately sit up straight. This is not my bed; it is not my room. I lift the covers; this is not my clothes.
Oh my god.
I am in Tyler's bed; his godlike body is stretched out next to me. He has a mischievous smile on his face; he has been watching me this whole time.
"I have never seen anyone so panicked in my life before."
"Why am I in your bed?"
"I put you here."
He seems to be rather satisfied with himself as the words roll from those lips that seem even more seductive than before.
"Why?" I ask.
"You were drunk and insisted."
"Why would I do that?"
"Do what?"
"Insist. Insist you put me in your bed?"
"You told me you wanted to lay next to my naked body."
"I did what? Don't tell me you are naked?"
"Yes, I am."
Did he say naked? He did say naked. He said he is naked. I swear he said naked. I lift the covers to check.
"Oh my god. Fuck you are."
"You are blushing."
Then a completely new thought springs to mind, "Did we have sex?"
"Yes," he says rather confidently.
"Shit, I can't remember," I say very embarrassingly.
"Was it that bad?"
"I don't know. I just told you that I cannot remember."
"I feel hurt."
"I am sorry."
He chuckles, and the cutest dimples play at the corner of his mouth. "Don't be; we did not."
"You are such an ass," I say as I slap him against the shoulder. "Why are you naked?" I add.
"I sleep naked."
"Why am I not naked?"
"God, Jenna. How must I control myself if you naked next to me?"
I peek under the blanket again. This man's body is a sin; every bit of him is perfect; he makes me do things I have never done before. I want to lay my hands all over him all day long, his sweet lips on mine, his hot breath on my skin. I want his fingers tangled up in my hair, his hands roaming my body. I want him hard and throbbing inside of me; I want to take him over and over again.
But he is a complete stranger; I do not know him at all; all I know is that I cannot get enough of him. He makes me feel good, better than I have ever felt before; he sets my body on fire, he brings a wet aching down to my core. My body begs for him, wants him, craves him.
"How must I control myself?" I ask as I drop the blanket. Once again, I blush very openly and much to my own frustration.
"With great difficulty," he says.
"You are breaking every rule I have ever had. You are going to be the reason that I come undone."
"How so?"
"I don't know you, but all I want is you. I want you inside me, on top of me, all over me."
Tyler rolls me over, his hands pinning my body back into the bed. He brings his lips close to mine, but he does not touch. He runs his lips down my neckline, over my collarbone, close to my breasts. He kisses the tender skin of my neck; his kisses are rough and hungry, he devours me. I feel him grow hard against my inner thigh.
"Fuck Jenna."
"What?"
"I can't control myself around you."
"Who says I want you to?"
He kisses me on my forehead and rolls off my body; I watch him as he gets up and walks across the room.
"Tyler."
"Yes?" He asks as he spins around.
"Your ass is fucking sexy."
I head down a few minutes later after him, where I find him in the kitchen. He still has no shirt on, but at least something you can almost call shorts.
"You must let me know if I must take you back
"No, I am quite happy here."
"Do you want to join me at the pool then?"
"Wait," I sarcastically say. "I will just magically go pull a swimsuit out of my purse."
He reaches over to the table and tosses a women's swimsuit over to me. I look at him, somewhat puzzled. Is there something that he is not telling me?
"I hope you don't wear these in your spare time."
"I probably won't look as good in it as you."
"How much did you peek last night?" The realization only hits me now.
"Enough to give me a hard-on for the next week."
"Why did you not take me?"
"What type of a man would I be?"
The type of man that I can get myself lost him. The kind of man that will take my body and respect me. The kind of man that any woman can only dream about. But why? Why is there not a hint of a presence of a woman in his life?
"Why is such a man like you single?"
"I was waiting for you."
"You know that is terrible."
"What?" He asks with a cheeky smile that sends my knees weak all over again. Under a few stuttering breaths, I manage to form the words over somewhat trembling lips.
"Your lame ass pick upline. Where did you find these anyway?"
"Get what?"
"The swimsuit."
"Belonged to an ex."
So there is someone lurking behind. Now I am very much intrigue as I have no shame to ask, "Where is she?"
"She is an ex," he insists.
"Where does she live?"
"In town."
"This town?"
"Yes."
I can see that he is becoming rather uncomfortable, but my curiosity is not going to make me stop from asking, "Do I know her?"
"Yes," he says as he turns his back on me. I am not certain if he wishes to hide his emotions or if he really does want to take something from the fridge.
"Is it Clara?" I shamelessly ask.
"Yes."
"Was it serious?"
"Yes."
The tone in his voice is turning a pitch softer; I know this must have caused him pain. But my eagerness to get to know him pushes me further. "Why did you break up?"
"We had different ideas of what a relationship is."
"How so?"
"She wanted the big city life; I wanted to stay here."
"Why?"
"Why what?" The softness in his voice has made way for an anger that he is hiding so well from his eyes.
"Why did she want the city life?" I ask.
"She wanted to live the high life."
"Why did you want to stay?"
"I don't want a suite to define me; here I am myself."
"Did you love her?"
I search his eyes for the slightest hint of emotion, but he gives nothing away.
"Did you love Brendan?" He asks.
"Yes, until he got blinded by his dream, his obsession with his work."
"Clara became obsessed with her need for having more money than necessary. She left to pursue her dream but was back three months later; it all failed."
"Did she ask you back?"
"Yes," he strongly admits.
"What did you say?"
"I can't love a woman that loves material things more than me.'
"And now?"
"We are just friends. Enough of the twenty questions, go change. Don't worry; I bought it; she never saw or had it on once."
I rush back up to the room to change into it. It's a two-piece bikini set, dark red, covering only the essential bits. It makes me feel seductive; the mere thought of him touching me in it is turning me on. I run downstairs, where I find him waiting for me.
"For fuck sakes. How am I supposed to keep my hands to myself now?"
"Maybe I don't want you to."
He hands me a bottle of wine and a bucket of ice, "What is the ice for?" I ask as I cock my head.
"Just in case."
"In case what?"
