Chapter 2
-19th April 2021-
In a room of a certain clubhouse of a high school, a teenage girl was laying on the ground, her long black hair drenched with blood from a wound on her head that have been inflicted beforehand, her blood-stained eyes filled with bottomless shocked. In front of her, someone was standing while holding some kind of a trophy, blood dripping from it. From the looks of it, the trophy was used to hit her.
At the same time, the sound of someone entering the door access lock could be heard and the door opened. Upon entering, seeing the scene that is happening bring heavy gasped from the person entering.
“Hel…Help…me…” the girl laying on the ground weakly stretching one of her hand up for someone to save her.
The person holding the trophy look at the person entering with a condescending look. The eyes look cold, unfeeling intention. Walking closer to the girl.
With a trophy at one hand, while the other hand reaching grabbing to the girl wrist, pulling her up to a sitting position from her laying position. Her head tilting weakly to the side. With a powerful strength, the trophy was swing to strike the girl’s head few more times. After that, her wrist was released and her body fall down lifeless.
With a thud the trophy fall down to the ground from that person hand. Blood flow from the girl head, drenching her with her own blood. Face pale and eyes wide open slowly turned devoid of life.
Eden Stronghold take a deep sigh in his heart. This case of a missing person is giving him a headache. The victim is the daughter of a high profile family.
Rich people. Always give people headache.
There were no trance of her where about. The CCTV from her school indicate that at the day of her disappearance, the camera did not catch her figure leaving the school but the school compound have been thoroughly search and still no sign of her.
If she is kidnapped, there were no ransom demand what so ever. Not even a call is made to the family.
Does she run away from home? Investigation shows she does not having any difficulties with her family.
Bullied at school and run away? From the interview of her classmates, it should be the other way around.
If it not because of her influential father, people might have not knew she went missing and make a mess out of it. The school where she went have been sue by her father for not ‘taking good care of her daughter’ which was totally absurd. A week have passed. She still have not been found. It only a matter of time before the father attack the police.
“Who would have thought, at the end of my career as a police is to be fired because I can’t find a teenage girl” Eden thought.
His partner, Jack shook his head while looking at Eden grieving, "You thinking about that missing case?"
Eden shook his head, "No. I'm thinking about my future carrier."
Jack laugh a little, "Stop being so negative. There must be some clue to the case. We just have to work a little harder."
Then suddenly, Eden other two subordinate, Kevin and Adam hurriedly enter the office “Hey boss”. His subordinates approach him.
“What did you all found out?”, Eden ask.
"The victim have been found, the school just report that they found her body", Kevin told him.
"Body?! She's dead?", Eden stand up.
"Yes boss", Kevin answer. "Eddie and Steve is already at the scene."
"Let's go to the scene. Have the forensic been informed? Where were the body was found?", Eden asked while all of them walk out of the office to their car.
"They have been informed and on their way to the scene. She was found inside her school's clubhouse. Her friends found her at noon today when entering the clubhouse", Kevin answer again.
Eden stop abruptly and look at Kevin, "You're serious?"
Kevin nodded. Eden caught in a deep taught. As they reach their car, all of them enter and headed to the scene. From all the school compound, her body have to end up at her school's clubhouse. This case take a lot of turn to be complicated. As a missing case was hard enough and now most likely has turned to be a murder case.
"Just what did this girl do to ended up like this?", Eden thought.
