The more Bella looked at Tom, the more she fell into deep thought. Tom actually had the figure of Barry. Many times, Bella felt that she could still see Howard’s shadow. It shocked her.
“Mommy, I’m not skinny.” Seeing Bella’s unblinking stare at him, Tom explained in all seriousness.
A faint smile appeared on Bella’s lips, “I know, Mommy’s got a job today. Maybe I won’t have as much time with you as she used to. Tom, Mommy is sorry…”
What Bella didn’t say was that Tom looked very similar to Howard Hu, which faintly implied that perhaps Tom’s father really was from one of the Young Masters of the Golden Group.
If that was really the case, she couldn’t let the Hu family’s people see him.
The Chen Family had worked hard to raise the number one student, so they couldn’t let anyone snatch him away.
“I’m fine! I’m already a man, so I don’t need Mommy to accompany me everyday.”
Bella chuckled as her eyes turned moist.
The next day at 8 a.m. sharp, Bella went to the Golden Group to report.
Although the Golden consortium was famous overseas and was the biggest businessman in Y City, it was Bella’s first time seeing the true face of the Golden consortium.
No, strictly speaking, it was Bella’s first time to realize that the most luxurious office building in the city was actually the core of Hu’s wealth.
The dazzling bright yellow glass walls, the imposing statue of a lion at the door, and the spacious interior all made Bella tremble in shock.
“Miss Bella?” When the HR Manager, Mei saw Bella, she immediately stood up with smile, “there’s always an explanation, let me personally bring it over.”
“Thank you!” Bella politely thanked her. She followed Mei into the elevator.
Along the way, there were only a few people in the huge 20 story building.
Bella could not help but be curious, “Why is the Golden Group so few people?”
It had nothing to do with the prestige of the Golden Group.
“No, you misunderstand.” Mei explained with a smile, “This is the core of Golden. The entire building is filled with members of the Hu family, including all the CEO’s brothers, all of them are here.”
“Is that so?” Bella was surprised.
“Of course.” Mei giggled. “You see, I’m just a personal manager.”
Bella believed it. It seems that this Golden Group Tower is a place with hidden dragons and crouching tigers. And those who were able to enter here were all extraordinary.
Bella finally understood why the recruitment event from yesterday was so brutal. It was said that the few dozen competitors had gone through a few selections and they are all excellent. To be honest, she was only standing at Golden Group’s place due to luck.

“Thank you for your words.” Bella quickly replied.
After walking along a long corridor with glass doors and an azure blue glass wall, Mei finally stopped with Bella, “Were here!”
Even without Mei’s explanation, Bella’s sharp eyes had already spotted Howard Hu and Paul in the office.
The office was spacious and comfortable, with dark blue and white hues. For the first time, Bella knew that blue and white could create such a harmonious and stunning natural beauty.
“It’s looks like CEO and his assistant are busy right now.” Mei said.
Bella felt the same way.
The two of them maintained the same position and angle, looking at the laptop in front of them with a solemn expression. Occasionally, they would talk to each other. It was clear to see that two workaholics.
“This is a common occurrence.” Mei explained with a smile.
Right now, Bella realize that this door was the most modern fingerprint anti-theft door. None of the outsiders can enter.
All the evidence indicated that this Golden Group Building was indeed the secret location of the entire Golden Alliance.
Bella was a little nervous and excited. She finally had hope of finding Tom’s father.
“Looks like the two of them won’t be able to finish their work in a short period of time, so I can only disturb them.” Mei shook her head helplessly and knocked on the office glass door with her slender white hand.
When the two busily inside heard the sound, they simultaneously raised their heads.
Suddenly Howard Hu’s serious expression seemed to loosen slightly. When he saw Bella, he glanced at Paul with a mocking smile, then he strode towards the door.
He pulled open the door and said. “Welcome, welcome!”
“Am I late?” Bella began to doubt herself, “I feel like all of you have been at work for a long time.”
“Not too late, we are never work on time.” Paul explained with a smile.
Only then did she believe that the condition of hiring of the whole year yesterday was not to make things difficult for the candidates, but to ask for things to be done on purpose.
If that was the case, she would have to properly adjust her mental state, and she would also have to have a good chat with Tom. Perhaps she had to rethink her life decision.
She was almost certain that as long as she worked alongside Howard, she would not have time to accompany her son in the future.
She couldn’t let him feel lost. It was important to seek the truth, but the child’s mental health was more important.
After the handover was done, Mei returned to her HR Department. Paul led Bella to Howard Hu.
“Good day, Director Hu!” Bella smiled said.
She truly hoped that Howard would smile. With such a high pressure, she would feel less pressure.
“From today on wards, the cleaning of this floor, all the purchasing, my trip with the other two assistants, and everyone’s daily routine will all be under your responsibility.” Howard Hu said.
Bella’s small face twitches, “This is Nanny?”

Bella, who was filled with complicated emotions, walked out of the office with Paul. Paul brought her to the first floor and took her on a tour of the entire building.
