Who\'s harassing the other?

He couldn't take his eyes off her throughout the party and once he went to ask her to dance with him but she declined and said she wasn't interested in dancing.

Ever since that day, he couldn't bring himself to stop loving her. He asked her for a date, she declined. For dinner or lunch she turned him down. After some time she warned him not to pester her anymore.

It's been four years now, and he still love her. He can't just forget about her. Though many times, he had tried to put her thoughts behind him but he found that a great torture. He couldn't. He had lost count of the number of times she had embarrassed him publickly and even humiliated him, but yet, he can't just take her off his mind.

"Am sorry about what that lady said. I shouldn't have intervened. I've cost you a whole lot of embarrassment" Jane Peter said. She doesn't know why that lady flew up when boss Ray went to her table.

Perhaps boss Ray said something unpleasant to her, and that, she can't tell. But boss Ray is not like that. He doesn't even seemed to have time to loathe around.

Some people were even wondering if he has a girlfriend. She's sure there are some who would want to be his girlfriend. But she could have politely told him to return to his table. She said silly horrible words at him and she decided to come over and talk to the lady.

But her presence added fuel to the already burning fire. The lady called him a man whore who takes advantage of his looks to get women into his bed.

To show how much she despises him she poured a glass of juice she was drinking from on his face and hissed before picking up her bag and left. She thought her boss was going to say something, but he just stared at her all through her tattling and didn't bother to stop her.

She couldn't take the insult and tried to stop the lady. But boss didn't even clean his face but rather was calling her to come back and not harass her.

Harass her? Who's harassing the other? There and then, she knew they both knew each other before. She went back to him to help him clean his suit but he said

that she doesn't need to worry about him.

That way, she ended been the only one that ate before her boss told her to Join him in his car. He paid for her meal but said he wasn't feeling like eating anything.

Other customers in the restaurant were all staring at them. They heard several whispers about handsome fine boy that was embarrassed by a girl.

"What are you sorry about Jane? You did the right thing. I should be the one apologising to you for causing you an embarrassment"Raymond Johnson replied.

After a few minutes, Raymond decided to ask her a question. He just needed to empty his mind alittle and found someone to express his feelings to.

"Jane, can I ask you a question? He glanced at her briefly before focussing on his steering. "Am all ears boss" Jane replied.

"Do you have a boyfriend?"Raymond asked. Maybe he needed to ask how other men woo their girlfriends. Perhaps, he would use the same approach.

Jane was taken by surprise. Why would boss Ray be asking her such a private question. But she have to answer his question after all he's taking permission before asking.

"Yes" She replied shyly. She bent her head and fiddled with her fingers. Her boss had always been a reserved man but asking her such question meant he had something else to say.

"Do you love him?" Ray asked again and Jane answered in the positive. He asked her if her boyfriend loves her as much as she loves him? And Jane answered discreetly.

"Have you ever experience a one sided love before?" Ray asked her and promised not to ask her anymore questions after her answer.

When Jane said no, he said that's why she saw him looking at the lady a while ago in the restaurant without having an iota of anger towards her actions. .

He was experiencing that one sided love.
