Chapter 7
I called Katie knowing instinctively that they were together.
She picked up on the first ring.
"Hey," I said and I heard shouts on the other side.
"Why didn't you pick up woman?" Katie shouted. "We have been calling you for the last two hours!"
"I know," I replied, "I'm sorry. ...
