Victoria

"Victoria Delarosa! Wake up this instant!" My stepmother yelled and I rolled my eyes.

Checking the clock, it was five in the morning. School didn't start for three more hours.

Groaning, I rolled out of bed and went into the closet, grabbing high waisted shorts and a cropped hoodie.

It was custom designed, so it had my last name in the back, in bold print.

It was a black hoodie so the names of my favourite songs were printed randomly, but neatly onto it.

Lucky hoodie= Lucky day.

I took a shower and brushed my teeth, having an hour long concert in the shower.

Putting my clothes on, I left my hair out before slipping into some Vans.

I grabbed my phone and made my way downstairs, knowing my stepmother would make me take the bus.

I sighed, grabbing an apple and looking up into her hateful stare.

"You look ugly." She said and I nodded, flashing her a smile before grabbing my bag.

Fuck her and Fuck that.

I left, walking down the sidewalk toward the bus stop.

I sat down on the bench and popped my air pods in. Playing a random game on my phone,

I was occupied. But not enough, because I watched as a sleek black, expensive ass car pulled up in front of me.

The windows were heavily tinted, so much so that I didn't even think it was legal.

Was this the bus? I laughed to myself.

What an idiot.

I kept looking down at my phone, hoping that the car was going to leave but nope!

Instead, the window rolled down and I was met with Mr. Gorgeous's face.

"Get in." His deep voice demanded emotionlessly.

The shades he wore hid his eyes, even though it wasn't that bright outside.

Vampire, much?

Instead of arguing, I got up and got in. The typical thing to do when a stranger tells you to get into their vehicle.

Ahaaaa. Idiot.

His car had that 'new car' smell and I inhaled deeply, getting a hint of coffee in the mixture.

"You drink your coffee black and unsweetened?" I asked with a distasteful look, knowing this because I had previously worked at a Café.

He glanced at me before speeding down the street at an alarming rate.

I put my seat belt on immediately, fearing that if he stopped, I'd go flying.

I believe I can f- stop.

He nodded, drifting around corners instead of turning like a normal person.

"Jesus, did you buy your license?" I asked and he smirked slightly.

But he didn't speak. He wasn't as talkative today.

Probably constipated.

I pointed to his radio and he nodded. I happily plugged my phone in and blasted my music.

I liked annoying people this way.

But to my surprise, he didn't seem to mind.

Chanel by Frank Ocean had to be one of my favorite songs.

I loved it. I loved him.

He pulled into the gates of the school I guess I'm supposed to go to.

He parked and turned the car off and I was confused.

"You go to this school?" I asked him and he shrugged.

"Barely." He replied blankly and I laughed.

The honesty.

"Well, thanks for the lift, Chica." I told him, nodding at him before getting out.

"No hay problema hermosa." He replied and I blushed, quickly shutting the door and walking away.

Everyone glanced at me sideways and I wondered why.

Oh, that's right! I'm the newbie!

I groaned, hating that I had to start all over again.

I found my way to the office after a while and entered.

"Hey, I'm new. I need my schedule so I know where the f- fish fingers I'm going." I told the lady behind the desk and she snickered at my choice of words.

I looked down, embarrassed slightly.

"Here you go, Honey. Enjoy your day!" She replied and I smiled at her before exiting.

But as I was about to open the door, it swung open and hit me in the face.

"Fuck you, Principal Hinds!" A female voice shouted and I groaned.

Her eyes snapped down to mine and her features softened.

"I'm so sorry. Here." She said, pulling out a frozen water bottle from her bag.

"Thanks." I replied, taking it and placing it on my forehead.

"You're new? I haven't seen you around and trust me, I fought almost every girl at this hell hole." She said, flipping her hair and slinging her bag over he shoulder.

I liked her. She had that 'No fucks given' attitude.

"Yeah, I just moved here." I told her and she smiled, linking her arm with mine.

"Well then, let's make sure you have an awesome day." She winked, leading me outside.

She grabbed my schedule and led me to my locker.

The locker next to mine stood out. It was painted in black and I wondered who owned it.

Some emo kid, perhaps.

She saw me staring at the locker and shook her head.

"That's August Villin's locker. He runs this entire city. Stay out of his way and he'll stay out of yours." She said quietly and as if on cue,

Gorgeous walks through the doors, getting everyone's attention.

Maybe I shouldn't call him that...nah.

I saw the principal quickly walk back into his office and students turned around, facing their lockers.

His eyes were still covered by his shades and his jacket was slung over his shoulders.

His muscles were and tattoos were on full display as he towered above everyone.

And that's when I realized,

He's August Villin. The August Villin. Even at my old school there were rumors about him.

"Let's go." She said quietly and I nodded, definitely seeing him differently now.

But why? He hasn't done anything to you.

You're just going to stereotype him like everyone else does?

I sighed, knowing that I was doing the wrong thing by running away.

But he was dangerous. I have heard his name before. Multiple times,

But I never saw him.

I felt his stare burning a hole in my back as I walked away.
