Her name is... (Part2)
I catch her, but she's unconscious. So, I run under the tall Acacia tree to the Infirmary room. There's no nurse there. Therefore, I lay her down at the bed. I saw her legs, its white like milk but there is something wrong, it has blood. Therefore, I check it. Her legs have wounds. "Maybe, she got these wounds when she fell..." I whispered.
Then, the nurse came, I said she has wounds on her legs. I have to come out of the infirmary so that the nurse can check her body more. After the nurse cured her wounds, the nurse told me to wait inside and look for her since I'm the one who brought her there. When she finally woke-up, I told her the whole story what happens. She looked at me. "Thank you." she says and then she smiled at me.
I smiled back. When our eyes met, I saw some portion of wetness on her eyes. "Did she cry?" I asked myself. "But I didn't saw the earlier or maybe, I didn't notice that because of my panic." I whispered to myself.
The next day, we're sitting at the garden and doing our student's work while helping each other at the same time. Some students passed through where we were sitting and smiled at her; she smiled back to them genuinely. I heard those girls who smiled her say, "She has her new victim again."
"What victim?" I asked myself. I looked at her, she's writing and solving. I smiled "She didn't heard it..." but when I saw facial expression, its dangerous to look through her eyes because it's intensely burning.
Her expression is more frightening than the first one I saw. I felt like running from her yet I just face the paper and try to solve the math problem and get my pen like as if I didn't saw her frightening facial expression. "Are you okay? You stop solving..." I asked her as if I didn't heard anything. She looked and smiled at me. "I'm okay..."
I was shock because she can manage to change her expression immediately and her voice is really convincing as if she didn't even heard something from those girls.
While we were walking to the hallway, a tall person hugs her and says. "I'm sorry. Please, forgive me."
Her expression is blank; she let that guy hugged her. She looked down, then pushed him a little bit and get out of his arms. She looked at me and smiled. "Let's go." she says...
Even though, I want to ask, I keep my mouth shut. I just let her walk beside me and look at her.
The next day after dismissal, I sat down on my favorite spot. I heard some loud steps; the next thing I saw is the person who hugged her tight yesterday, holding my collar tightly. He's three inches taller than me and I can smell the sweat from him. I saw him wearing jersey. Therefore, I can tell he's a basketball player in the university. I was stunned, I remember the first time I saw her with a person at the corridor. He is the guy she was with. The next thing I saw was I'm just standing and the guy was sitting on the ground and looking near my left side. I slowly looked at his looking at. My eyes began to open wider and wider. "She saves me?" I whispered.
Then, I looked at the person, the dangerous looked on his face begun to soften but it change into a frightened expression and he looked away and go.
Still, I'm in shock. They just looked at each other, no words are spoken, just look. She turned around and smiled at me. "Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" she asked.
I smiled. "He didn't... I'm just shock." I saw her face in a kind of relief.
It’s been two weeks since that incident, but I don't see her around. It’s been three hours after my class when I sat down into my favorite spot. I stand up and look at the tall Acacia tree when someone covered my eyes. I felt it weird because the hand that covers my eyes are shaking. I knew it was her who's just standing at the stone chair near the guava tree.
I remove her hand that covers my eyes and turn around to look at her. However, when I look at her, I was shock, she looks pale and her eyes are swelling.
I slowly pull her head unto my shoulder and let her cry. She stand straight and look at me. I saw her eyes and nose are red because she cried hard.
Therefore, I lift her up and let her sat on the stone bench and sat beside her. I offered my blue-checkered handkerchief but she refuse, instead, she pulled something in her pocket and used it to dry up her tears and wipe her nose.
Since I don't want anyone else to see her like that... I used my handkerchief to cover her face like the one we're playing until we reach my car and I force her to get in.
While I was driving, she's just looking at the window. I know she's mad because I drag her in unto my car. I don't know where we'll be going so, I drove home.
