Her name is... (Part4)
Years passed by, we still e-mailed each other; she says the operation was success. I was shock; my father told me its just treatment so I asked her what operation is she talking about. However, she never answers that. I said, I want to see her but she refuse. She says, she's not that pretty and she didn't want me to see her. I got curious, why does she refuse to answer my questions and why didn't she want me to see her? What's going on?
I now am a successful engineer, but she's not yet here. As I drive way back home, my mom called me to pick up my nephew in his school. He’s six years old now and entered schooling. When we reach home, my dad told me that they're going home tomorrow. At my excitement, I hug my nephew and kiss him. "Uncle, where's Mama?" he asked.
I smiled. "Didn't granny answer that yet?" he just looked at me. "Okay, I don't know... Sorry."
He smiled. "It’s okay..." he answered then he runs unto his room.
"Mom, dad is going back tomorrow." I shouted. I heard my mom laughed. "I know." she answered. I just smile and lock myself at my room.
In a few hours, my mom knocks at the door. "We're going out. I cooked something there, so if ever you are hungry, just eat. Okay?" my mom says.
I heard their steps out the house, the engine of the car and the gate that closes. Then, a few minutes, someone is pressing the doorbell.
I opened the gate and I saw a girl with a black, shiny, silky and long hair that smells Camia flower. She enters the house and sat down at the bench, where I sat down the girl I love.
"Excuse me, miss..." I said but she just look at me and smile at me. "I'm just here to give you back this." she said and then she left. It’s a box... I shake it, I'm frightened to open it because it might explode the way I watch the news before. Slowly, I opened the box with my eyes closed. It didn't explode. I slowly opened my eyes and saw my laptop. I rushed up and ran but I didn't catch her. Therefore, I decided to go home while catching my breath. I packed up my laptop, I decided to go into my room and leave it on the top of my table.
It’s been three days since I left my laptop on the top of my table. I sat down and opened the laptop. I saw a yellow note. "Did you miss me? Well, I do miss the campus..." that was the note says.
Its been a month since I read that note and still I don't get what was the connection of the question to the campus. I was shock when I remembered that its been a month already after the class starts. Therefore, I decided that after work, I'll go to the university. There are many changes since I graduated there. Then, I saw someone who's sitting at my favorite spot before. It’s a girl with a black, shiny, silky and long hair above the knee. As I observe her from a distance, I heard some of the students talking who just passed by. "That girl is weird...” one of the girls says.
"They said that girl is flirty, I don't know if it’s true but I don't even see her with any guys around. She's always alone."
It's confirmed she was the girl I begged to live. Therefore, I decided to come right in front of her. The moment she saw my shoes, she looked up slowly. When she saw me, she smiled. "I miss you. I thought you already forgotten me." she says.
