"Are you fucking kidding me right now Pyaar!" Sandy barks at me.

"A fucking scholarship to NYU of all places, many of our big clients are lecturers from that school !"

I blink, after Bella had given me the scholarship slot, she had urged me to inform Sandy. Of course my hopes had gotten shattered because I knew Sandy will never agree, even though she wasn't as cruel as Aunty Patty, she wasn't one to trample on either.

Many times she had first bought me, she would make me starve for days because I had not pleasured her "clients" the right way. Though the starving was worth it because when she would finally give me food, it would be a heap I could eat it for two hours straight no exaggerating.

Now that I think of it, I guess the heap of food was also a part of the punishment. "I can wear a disguise, put on an head warmer, sunglasses or something—" I suggest shakily.

"No! And if you don't shut the fuck up, I will make sure your next client is a Dom!" I flinch. Having me over to a Dom was her new way of punishing me when I turned eighteen last year. A Dom who would have me chained to the bed post, gag my mouth, tape me to a standing mirror— any form of BDSM fucking, depending on how "skillful" the Dom is.

Practically it is the worst form of punishment even to a numb hooker like me. I sigh dejectedly and stand up. "Give me that slot" she says, I hand it over to her and stalk out sadly.

Mission ruined, I badly need a bottle of tequila.

"So son, when is your the final game?" Mum asks as we settle for dinner.

"Sunday, which is the day after tomorrow's afternoon, the NYU officials are going to be making their final pick too.. Who puts a match on Sunday if not the crazy NYU team" Briana my younger sister replies, I roll my eyes.

"For a girl of sixteen, you are way too nosy for your wellbeing, how the hell did you know about that"

"Hey Zeke mind your language at the table" Eadulf says slapping my back.

"Right Zeks, listen to your brother" Dad remarks.

"Did you forget to put the younger dad?" I grumble.

Eadulf snorts "Younger brother my ass, I practically tell you everything to do big brother Zeke"

"Ass? Who should be minding language now huh?"

"No talking at the dining please" Dad says as Mum finish serving the lettuce and sits on her favorite chair beside Dad.

"Honey that's my line you stole" mum says with a pout, I roll my eyes. Here they come again.

"Baby you know anything about you is mine, that makes your line my line"

"Can you two get any more cheesy?" Briana asks in a tone that could only describe how gross Mum and Dad sound now.

"Exactly" Eadulf and I mutter. Actually we only agree when bitching about Mum and Dad's lovey-dovey at the dining. Not that I don't like my family, crap! They are the best thing that can ever happen to me. Scratch that! They are the only best thing that would ever happen to me, from Dad to Mum and to Briana and Eadulf.

I love my family. I'm Zeke Kian, eldest out of three children of the Kian family. Well I wouldn't really say my family because I was actually adopted by the Kians. My parents died when I was six—Murdered before my very eyes.

The Kians adopted me after I spent two years at the orphanage and since then they have been family to me, never for once have they made me feel like an outsider. Finding a family like them is very rare.

"You should play well on Saturday, who knows you might make the quarterback for NYU team, just like you are in brooklyn" Dad says.

"Sure dad, and of course I'm going to make you proud, just sit at the stand and cheer me up"

"And cheer you up we will" Brianna yelps happily.

"What! You are not coming for my game are you?" The last time Brianna attended my game, she kept shouting my name with a megaphone that she had to be sent out of the stand, and then she waited till the game ended to congratulate me but ended up kneeing Nash in his balls because he called her a pretty doll and pepper sprayed Cole because he dumped his girlfriend right after the game.

Did I forget to mention that my sister is crazy as hell, well her nickname in school is 'Crazy Riri', what more would we expect.

"Of course I'm coming for your final game with steerforth high"

"You've got to be kidding me... Mum, dad help me out here"

"Easy bro, are you scared of a little weasel like Riri" Eadulf grins, Riri glares at him.

"Okay children, eat up we have to plough the garden today" Mum says.

"The garden again" We grumble, my phone suddenly rings, mum glares at me

"What did I say about phones at my dining"

"Sorry mum" I slip out the phone to check the caller, 'Ryder'. My heart thumped immediately I saw it, I got up from my chair and grabbed my overall from the arm of the chair.

"You are leaving?" Mum asks.

I nod throwing a smile at her. "I'll be back before you know it" I reply, rounding the table and placing a chaste kiss on her cheeks. Dad doesn't say anything they are already used to my sudden leaving in between meals and they don't bother to ask me where I'm going because I won't ever tell them.

"Be safe" Mum calls after me. I nod and I walk hurriedly outside and got on my bike. Actually, there is more to me apart from being an aspiring NYU—NFL player.

The bar is already in full swing when I enter, the girls are performing on the stage, all they need to do is strip and dance on the stage and the men choose who they want, but me— I'm like the special treat, I don't strip and my "clients" don't step into the strip club, all they do is place a call over to Sandy and I'm right there at the hotel they want me.

Thankfully, I have no "clients" today. I make my way to the counter and have a seat. "Hey Evans" I greet the bartender, he throws a smile at me before attending to someone at the counter. Though I don't really mix with the bar workers but Evans is different, we get along moderately probably because Bella dates his cousin and he sees me as her friend.

"Bliss" he nods his head at me once he is done. "What's the special event, you hardly come here"

"Well, I think I actually need a drink to clear my head" I reply, shrugging.

"Ah well then, I got you" he pushes a bottle of tequila towards me and a cup. "Don't get drunk" he winks at me and return back to his work. I smile, before pouring the drink into my cup and downing it.

"You gonna sit there and get drunk before telling me the outcome huh?" Bella says as she sits beside me.

"Hey, didn't notice you there" I mutter and pour another shot, downing it again.

"Hey Belly Bee, how ya knocking it up today" Evans greet her.

"Fine, fine... Only I just got dumped by your asshole cousin so I need a drink" Bella replies grabbing a glass.

"Ya wish, Damien has it hots for you, he won't ever break up with you"

"Are you minding her?, she practically gets dumped by him every Friday night and then on Saturday they are out riding a roller coaster or out on the beach" I chip in.

Evan grins. "They are both whipped up nut cases"

"I tell you"

"Wait, why are you both talking about me and my relationship as if I'm not sit ng right here, ha" Bella mumbles and grabbed my drink pouring it into her cup. "I knew she would disagree so I did the talking" she says when Evans is out of earshot.

"Sandy?"

"Yeah, that's your scholarship slot and some crazy rules you should follow or something" she drops the envelope on my laps and my eyes widen.

"Be....." I start to say but she has already grabbed my bottle and sways off into the crowd.

I grin as I stare at the slot, at least maybe Sandy buying me wasn't a bad idea. "Hey Evans I'm out of here" I say and rush upstairs into my room.

And for the first time in nineteen years, I have a reason to smile again, besides the set up rules can't be that hard huh?.
