Mandy

My eyes beamed as soon as I heard his voice.

"Mandy?" He called again.

Holy crap!

What does Cassy think she's doing?

"Come on! Take the phone!" She prodded whisperingly and I ran to her and collected the it.

"Has this phone been stolen or what? Is this Mandy? Why are you calling me?" He asked grumpily and I bit my lower lip.

What a jerk.

"Well...It's Mandy" I rolled my eyes and placed my left hand on my waist.

"O....kay. And why the heck are you calling me?" I turned and looked at Cassy.

Must this guy always be so grumpy?

"Well...Its Mandy and...."

I paused and looked at Cassy who gave me the go - ahead signal.

'Well, I heard you got someone pregnant"I spilled it out and he scoffed immediately.

"Are you....Are you okay? What're you talking about?" He asked.

"Well,I'm okay, okay? And I know what I'm talking about. You've been sleeping around with so many ladies. So, why do you sound surprised hearing it? Isn't it possible?" I snapped.

"Well, I might f**k a lot of ladies, but I make sure they don't get pregnant. And even if they do, its none of my business cause I warn them I'm not ready to be a father. Anyway, who exactly are you referring to?"

I felt my blood boil as he made that statement.

"Well, you better get ready, jerk" I said and ended the call.

Gosh! So annoying!

"Hey! Calm down. Why didn't you go straight to the point, huh?" Cassy asked as I returned to my seat.

"That boy's so arrogant. I can't even imagine him being a father to my child. Did you hear how rude he was on phone?" I grumbled.

"Yeah...but I'm sure with time, he'll change. But seriously Mandy. You need to tell him about the baby" she replied and I rolled my eyes.

After the long boring school hours, I returned home and the only thing on my mind was a bath and sleep. I was so tired. My waist and joints hurt a lot.

As I walked into the sitting room, I met

the old witch - Becca - eating some pops and watching a movie.

Hmph.

I fixed my eyes on the floor and walked pass her.

"Have I become invisible?" She suddenly said and I stopped to look at her.

"Or you've suddenly left your greeting habits at school?"

Geez!

"Seriously?" I scoffed.

"You want me to greet you? Well, if I can remember correctly, you snubbed when i greeted you in the morning and unfortunately, I don't have free greetings to give out for now".

She stared at me disbelievingly.

"Did you....just say that to me?" She pointed to herself.

Oh! Please. Is she tryna act like a god or what?"

"Seriously Becca, I wish we could spend more time. But you're not even the list of my problem. So, keep your eyes on your food" I waved at her and took the stairs, proceeding to my room.

As soon as I got in, I fell heavily on the bed and that was it - I slept off.

I woke up hours later to discover it was dark already.

Wow! For how long did i sleep, huh? I didn't even shower or eat.

Gosh!

Could this laziness and dizziness be a result of the baby?

I touched my head and it f**king felt so hot.

Gosh!

Maybe, I should get a bath and find something to eat.

Suddenly, I heard some water sound from the bathroom.

Huh? Could someone be bathing there?

Leo!!

Was he back???

I gasped as the thought dawned on me. Could he really be back?

Hmph. That jerk.

Somehow, I guess Cassy was right. I really needed to tell him about his baby.

I opened my bag and brought out the test results which was still safe in the envelope.

Good lord. I held it to my chest and stared up at the ceiling.

I really have to do this, huh? I can't just hide it forever. I needed to face it.

Gosh!

I took in a deep breath again and soon,I heard the running water stop.

Oh my! Maybe he's done bathing.

I stood up immediately and ran to his wardrobe, opened it and fixed the envelope there.

Okay; this is it.

I closed it and ran back to the bed, sitting like nothing had happened and just then, he walked in from the bathroom.

He looked so dripping wet and gorgeous.

Hmph. But he's still a rude jerk.

I rolled my eyes and folded my hands as he walked in and I noticed him shoot me a stare.

Whatever.

"Hey, you!" He stopped walking and faced me.

"What sh*t were you saying about someone being pregnant for me?"

Oh boy!

"Never mind" I waved it aside and started playing with my phone.

He scoffed and approached his wardrobe and I stylishly stared at him.

Oh my gee!!! He's gonna open it!!

He held the door of the wardrobe and finally opened it and the envelope fell on the floor immediately.

"What's this?" He mumbled and bent to pick it up.
