Meet Again

The alarm sounded, making two fast asleep women wake up because the alarm had not stopped. Callista and Olivia, who were still fast asleep, were disturbed by the sound of the alarm.

"Callista! Why is your alarm so loud! I'm still sleepy!" exclaimed Olivia. She covered her head with a pillow. Callista's alarm was disturbing her sleep.

Callista was quickly turning off her phone so that the alarm no longer disturbs them.

But when Callista turned off her cellphone, Olivia suddenly throws the pillow she had used to cover her head; with a panicked face, Olivia took her watch. "Oh My God, Callista, we're late!" Olivia's scream was loud when she saw that it was eight in the morning.

Callista doesn't have a response. She chooses to close her eyes. Callista was still sleepy, and it feels like she even doesn't want to open her eyes.

"Callista, wake up! Today there is a shareholder meeting at the hospital! We can't be late!" Olivia shook Callista's shoulders to get her up. But, Callista still wasn't awake.

"Callista, wake up! It's at eight o'clock! Meeting with hospital shareholders at nine o'clock Callista! We can't be late!" Olivia shouted.

Callista was shocked; she immediately opened her eyes in panic. "Why didn't you say so earlier, Olivia! For God's sake, I forgot we have a meeting this morning." Callista jumped out of bed. "You use the bathroom next door." Callista ran to the bathroom, as did Olivia, who immediately ran to the guest room's bathroom.

Thirty minutes later, Callista and Olivia were ready. Luckily, Callista doesn't like wearing bold makeup. Callista prefers thin makeup. While Olivia, this time, has to be willing not to using bold makeup. Olivia followed Callista with only natural makeup on her face.

"I'll drive the car." Callista grabbed the car keys. She knew at a time like this; there was no way Olivia was driving the car. They both can come late.

Callista and Olivia ran from the apartment to the parking lot. They got into the car. Quickly Callista started the engine and hit the gas. She started driving at full speed, leaving the apartment.

"Callista! I don't want to die yet!" exclaimed Olivia. She was swearing while Callista was driving at full speed.

"Shut up, Olivia! Don't be noisy! Do you want to be late? Blame yourself for forcing us to nightclubs and coming home late," Callista replied irritably. Her gaze remains focused forward. She hit the gas, picking up speed. Yes, she could not possibly allow herself to be late in her first meeting with shareholders in the hospital where she worked. If she's late, it's ashamed!

Olivia grunts. "Why you blame me?!"

Callista didn't answer; she chose to increase her speed even more, to arrive at the hospital. She's reckless. If she hadn't turned off the alarm, she wouldn't have been late.

The journey to Queen Hospital takes one hour from Callista's apartment. Now that Callista's car had entered the hospital parking lot, Callista and Olivia quickly jumped out of the vehicle. They walked quickly to the meeting room.

"Callista, what if we're late? I just remembered that today two new doctors are working here," said Olivia in an anxious tone as she walked toward the meeting room.

"I don't know! Just pray we're not too late," replied Callista. She took her breath and tried to keep herself from the panicked face.

Callista and Olivia stepped into the meeting room. This time the two of them were lucky. It turns out that the meeting hasn't started yet. The shareholders still haven't come. They immediately joined forces with other surgeon specialists.

"Callista, we're safe. The meeting hasn't started yet," whispers Olivia in Callista's ear.

"You're right. God still protects us," replied Callista in a quiet voice.

A short time later, a man in a black suit stepped into the meeting room. The handsome man with a strapping body made the attention of the young doctors there. Olivia widened her eyes when she saw the man standing on the podium.

Olivia makes sure the man, she kept staring at the man. But quickly, Olivia touched Callista's arm sitting next to her. Then she whispered in her best friend's ear. "Callista, did you see that man? Isn't that the man who helped you last night?"

Callista frowned. She didn't pay much attention because she turned off her phone. Now Callista turns her gaze when she hears Olivia's words. She looked at the man standing on the podium. Callista shook her head lightly. She was unsure of what she saw. But wait, she couldn't possibly mistake the man she had just met last night.

'Oh my God, he is,' Callista thought.

"Callista, is that man who was helping you?" whispers Olivia in Callista's ear.

"Shut up!" said Callista. She didn't want to talk about the man.

"Good morning, the doctors who have taken the time. I want to introduce it. He's Mr. Daniel Renaldy. One of the largest shareholders of Queen Hospital. He wants to give a greeting to all of us. Welcome for Mr. Daniel Renaldy," said the chief of Doctor who opened the meeting.

"Good Morning. Thank you for your time. My arrival here greets all doctors. In the future, I hope Queen Hospital still the best hospital." Daniel gave a stern speech. Now Daniel's gaze stares at a brunette woman clad in a doctor's suit. Daniel flashed a thin smile when he stared at the woman.

Callista turns her gaze when she stares at the man. She put her head down and didn't dare stare at the man standing on the podium, which had been watching her ever since. For God's sake, Callista can no longer look forward. The man kept glancing at herself.

"Callista, the man who helped you last night was good looking. You can see the young doctors don't blink at the man named Daniel either," whispers Olivia, who can't stop staring at Daniel.

Callista took a rough breath. "You're so noisy, Olivia. Do you want me to throw from the meeting room?" said Callista threatening her best friend to no longer discusses the man standing at the podium.

"I'm just saying that man so handsome!" said Olivia, who annoyed.

The meeting ended; the sound of applause filled the meeting room. Daniel got off the podium and stepped out. Callista was still sitting in her place. The other doctors were already standing to greet the man. Callista grunts. Why are the doctors showing their like to the man? Actually, without being asked, Callista already knows why. Of course, they like men who have power.

"I think the world is so narrow that we meet again. Do you still remember me, Doctor?" said the man in a low tone, then he glanced at the name tag that spelled out Dr. Callista's name. "I didn't think you were a doctor?" he continued with a grin on his face.

Callista bravely opens her face, then stares at the man in front of her. "I'm sorry, I didn't know that you were Mr. Daniel Renaldy, a shareholder in this company."

Daniel stepped closer and smiled obliquely. "Do you remember what I said before, Doctor Callista?"

Callista nodded. "Yes, I remember it. You said I had to pay after we met. Now you can give me your account number, Mr. I'll transfer the money you paid right away."

" I don't need your money, Doctor Callista," replied Daniel casually.

"But you told me I should pay for it?" Callista frowned, not understand this man in front of her.

"Right, you're right, Doctor Callista. You have to pay it but not with the money," replied Daniel with a thin smile on his face.

Callista stares at Daniel's attached. "What do you want me to pay you?"

Then Daniel pulled something out of his suit. Callista arched her eyebrows as Daniel handed him a business card. Callista took the name card; she saw that it was printed Daniel Renaldy's name. Callista took a deep breath, increasingly not understanding what Daniel meant.

"This is your business card, then what's this for?" asked Callista, who still doesn't understand.

"Tomorrow morning at ten o'clock, you come to my company. I'll tell you what you have to pay," said Daniel coldly.

"Why not just today? Why does it have to be tomorrow? I can pay it right now," exclaimed Callista, slightly irritated. However, she tried not to show it because she couldn't dare to the man in front of her.

"I don't need your money Doctor Callista. You just come to my company in the morning. After that, I'll tell you," replied Daniel emphatically.

Daniel glances at his watch for a moment, and then he returns to stare at Callista. "I have to go, and tomorrow morning you have to come on time. I don't like it if someone's late when you meet me."

"But-" Callista's words cut off. Daniel turns his body around and walks away from Callista.

Callista grunts; she gave the man an irritated look.
