"Katelyn Tarver!"

I heard my name and opened my eyes gently, blinded by the sunlight that came in through the window, I cover my eyes with the back of my hands, it was already morning, I turned around reluctantly.

"Katelyn Tarver!"

I heard my name again and scowl. It was familiar voice of my roommate, and I knew what was happening around. I got up on my feet and head towards her direction.

Just what I suspected, there she was with my rebellious kid sister, who stands glaring at her.

For crying out loud it was just seven-fiften in the morning and they are here again.

I shaked my head and walked close to my sister, I had to check if she was alright, I squat close to her, looking her all over. "Kim are you alright?" I asked to make sure she was fine.

"I'm fine." Kim answer with her little voice.

Knowing she was okay, I breathe a sigh of relief and turned over to the angry roommate, annoyed that she woke me up this early I gave her a hard glare. "What is wrong Sophie?" I asked trying to keep my voice leveled.

I haven't slept well in days and the little time I try to sleep, they both start with their drama. Childish drama of that.

Sophie picked up a beautiful pick dress lying next to the bed she sat, her eyes not leaving mine. "This happened." She said, throwing the dress down at my feet. "This evil sister of yours messed with my dress." She said pointing at Kim.

I ran my hand across my hair pissed, I knew it would be something so unreasonable. I look at her and my blood boiling with anger, I still try to maintain my cool. "You called me out just for this?" I asked her with a smirk.

I was really having a nice dream, but right now, I'm here awake because of a dress, she have a lot for crying out loud.

She looked at me and arch her brow. "Did you just smirk at me?!" She yell.

Of course I did, my inner goddess growl, I should be the one yelling right now and not her.

"Katelyn do you by any means, know how expensive that dress is?" Sophie rolled her eyes at me.

I narrowed mine and picked up the dress to see what she was talking about, if it was expensive then I should know what my kid sister did to it.

Just looking at the dress my lips parted with shock, I turned to Kim, eyes wide. "Kim Gosh!" I snap.

Kim looked at me and the dress in my hend. "I just made a little design on it with my scissors." Kim blurt.

I looked at her blankly, a little design my ass, the dress was totally cut with scissors, even a little baby will know this was a deliberate act of wickedness.

I know Kim doesn't like Sophie, but going to the extent of ruining this expensive dress, I furrowed my brow. "You don't just make design with scissors on people's clothes." I scold her.

I turned to Sophie who eyes were still on us with that hard glare. "How much is it?" I asked her, in hope that I can refund the money for this expensive dress. "I will replace it."

Sophie lifts the corner of her lips and blink. "You would?" She smiled. "It's one thousand dollars."

"Huh!" I looked down at the dress and back at her in shock, was it this expensive. "This can't be." I blurt out.

Sophie stands up and picked her purse, sure enough she is dressed with those lovely pick dress, gosh she really love pink and looks damn good in it.

Sophie is a very beautiful and classy young, and it amaze me at times that she and my little sister always picks up fight in the morning.

"Sure. Since you can't afford that much." She said sarcastically. "It's that expensive," she looked at me and then at Kim who made it very obvious that she hates her. "You better find a solution on how to pay me, else I will have to sell this little evil." She points at Kim.

Glaring at Kim who glare back, Jezz, my little kid sister has no fear and I feel a little proud of her, but looking at the dress I shake that thought off. "You're lucky I have an appointment." Sophie told Kim, before leaving the house, her heels hitting the stoned floor.

Hearing an appointment, I remember I have an interview this morning at nine o'clock. I looked at Kim who looked down now with guilt.

Even if she act like a rebel with Sophie, she know when to feel remorseful. I smiled at her. "It's okay Kim, just don't do it again." I told her.

She looked at me with a wide eyes, she was waiting for a punishment but here I am tell her it was okay. "I'm I forgiven?"

Gosh she looks so adorable, I smile and nod. "Let's talk when I get back, I have an interview this morning okay. Make sure you eat and take a cab to School." She nods and off I went.

I walked into my room, picking up my towel I heard into the bathroom for a quick bath.

Once out, I walked to the larger mirror stand in my bedroom and stands looking at myself as I dry my hair.

So much have happened this past week, losing my job, because the company ran into liquidation and now I have to settle for a babysitting job which Sophie connected me with, saying it pays huge.

I growl at my image in the mirror, I'm not good at keeping any job, in the past few months, I've done more than ten job and yet here I am, trying to settle as a babysitter, which I don't know if I can get.

Why do I need to interview as a babysitter, it's just a baby, I'm good at nursing kids, I took care of Kim after all.

It was no big deal and since the pay will be huge I have to get it, I giggle. It was no big deal.

Waving my worries away, I put on a pale navy blue top and a tight jean. Brushing my hair backwards, I parked it up in a ponytail.

Checking myself on the mirror, I was good to go. I looked aty wrists watch, eight-thirty. Gosh! I'm going to be late if i don't leave now. I picked my bag and walked out through the door.

...

I stepped out of the taxi when I got to the address Sophie gave me, I glanced up and right there a big mansion in my front I gasp.

I blink at the the sight, is the the house of a president. I haven't seen anything like this in my whole life, I glanced at the address to make sure I was in the right address.

Sophie told me it was a wealthy man who wants me to babysit his child but this was not what I expected, he was beyond wealthy.

I walked up to the gate, adjusting my shirt, now I wish I had dress more classy, Sophie had offered me one of her dress but I told her I need to be my normal self.

To my suprise the gate opened as I stepped in, the garden made me feel like I was in a fairy tale movie.

I walked to the front door and ring the doorbell and it automatically requested a name. I swallowed. "Katelyn Tarver."

The door opened graceful, I had made a call to my employee and he had set an appointment, I smiled and walked inside.

My mouth dropped and I blink, the outside wasn't as beautiful as the inside, everything was painted white and spotless, stone walls and tiles. I was lost in a daze.

It was like paradise and I started feeling more and more discouraged, I had told myself it was not a big deal, but right now I knew I won't be accepted.

I had no qualifications whatever, even as a personal maid or babysitter, whatever my job would be here, I knew deep down inside that I don't qualify.

"Are you Katelyn Tarver?" A deep voice came behind me, making me just, I turned around and there a tall elderly man in suit pants and white shirt with black suit jacket and his hands on a walking stick stands looking at me without expression.

This must be my employee and in his presence I feel like intimidated, I look down. "Yes." My voice hoarse.

"I'm Grey Robinson." He said giving nothing away, he sat down comfortably on a chair looking up at me without any reaction.

I shiver, deep down I know I've lost this job which I haven't even had, my looks and everything, my dress, oh my shoe. I clench my bag, not knowing I was holding my breath too, looking at this man, I feel like nothing.
