Ordean Billy POV

After my maid left, I run my hands through my head, this maid got some nerve and I think I'm losing control.

How do I make her tired of this job? How do I torture her? This thoughts keep crossing my mind.

My phone ringing in my pocket and I brought my phone out to see who was calling. I was not familiar with the number and i picked the call. "Hello."

I waited for a response and a female voice came from the other side of the line. "Hi it's me Jean Rairly."

I smiled, she was a lady who I met by the beach after my father had made me angry with his maid shit!

She was also in the same mood as me and had the thought of even killing herself, I have sit with her in silence and also walked her to her house.

Well it was her boyfriend's house, I was not really happy since I was attracted to her, I gave her my contact just in case.

Well I also saw the supposed boyfriend who introduced himself as Kyle lark to me and I knew I was more good looking than he is, but they were so in love with each other.

I'm still attracted to her and I'm sure she is now, seeing that she called me first.

Well here is my cue in clearing my head from the thought of making that maid miserable.

I set out to go meet her. At an expensive wine bar we both poured a glass of wine for ourselves.

I looked at her , she was very pretty and had a flawless skin, she was wearing a beautiful pale navy blue dress and was looking all classy.

I love classy ladies and elegant ones at that, I smiled at the thought of having her for myself, too bad she already have a boyfriend.

"Tell me, how have you been?" I asked her, the last time I saw her she was not happy.

She smiled and I was lost in her beautiful smile. "Seems you worried a lot about me." Her voice was light and sweet, melting my angry heart.

"Well not much. Just a bit." I told her, honestly after that day I haven't worried about her, I haven't even think of her, o thought since she have a boyfriend she won't have my time so I stopped myself from any thoughts of her.

"A bit is okay." She said, making me laugh.

I sipped my wine and looked at her. "Well tell me now. What mad you sad the other day?" I asked her.

I didn't ask her then because I felt it wasn't my business, not that it was my business now, I just wanted to keep the conversation going.

She was also surprise the last time, when I didn't ask her about it and now I'm doing that.

She finished her wine and poured herself another glass, her eyes became distant and she sighed. "Well, it had something to do with my mother."

I paused as I heard mother, I exhaled sharply and gulp my wine, refilling it I asked, nonchalantly. "What happened with her? Argument?"

"Not really." I looked at her, her smile was no longer on her face, likewise mine. "She's never around, business trips and she stays for weeks and even months without calls or visit. I miss her."

I saw tears filled her eyes, mother's have a way of ruining their child's mood, that was my definition of mother's.

I sip my wine. "At least you have a mother." I said softly making her look at me.

"What happen to your mother?" She asked.

I couldn't tell her about it, my mother abandoning me, I laughed at that thought, my mom just left me like I was a monster to her.

I closed my eyes. "She is as good as dead. " I told Jean and I'm sure she was suprise. "You should be lucky."

She sighed at my words. "Lucky you said." I know she finds the word I said ridiculous.

But unlike mine who left me, she was lucky she still have a mother who did not abandon her, a mother who just left for a business trip and will definitely return.

Jean sip her wine. "It's a good thing your mother is died loving you than being alive, hating you and not being there for you."

I paused an look at her, she thinks my mom is dead, well maybe she is, I haven't seen her since that day she left.

She never loved me, if she did she wouldn't leave me, I closed my eyes swallowing the painful memories. I looked at jean and ask her. "Are you sure she hates you?"

Jean thinks for a while before responding to my question. "She didn't say so though."

"Then you don't know if she does." I said to her.

"And I don't know if she like me either."

I looked at her and we were both silent for a while, before I broke the silence. "What about your father?" I asked her.

She smiled as I mentioned it and I wish I can laugh if I was asked about my father, I hate him so much, he was always tormenting my life.

"The only parent that love me. He is dead though." Jean told me and I felt sorry for asking.

"Sorry." I apologise.

She shakes her head. "It's okay."

I knew I had to change the topic, and it should also favor me, I smiled. "Tell me, why are you staying at your boyfriend's house?"

Jean was silent and I think I have invaded her privacy. "If you don't want to answer, I won't force you." I told her, but I hope she tells me.

And just like I hoped she opened her lips. "Kyle have been my childhood friend and we ended up dating. My mom told him to look after me while she was away. He have always been there for me after my dad died. Being at home alone is o lonely." She finished.

I closed my eyes, they have surely gone a long way together, do I have a chance, thinking she was lonely alone at her own her brought me to think of my own large space upstairs.

I was not lonely anyway, I love my space alone up there, I drank my wine and refill it again. "Sure it should be." I said softly, for her who would love company, it should be lonely.

We both sat down drinking in silence, our mind on the things that made us sad.

The thought of the maid forgotten, only the angry thought of a mother who left me and a father who I hate.
