The Ritual
We walked back to the house and Lucian said he would wait with me the rest of the evening. I realized that Marcross had to go visit with the arrivals and Lucian was choosing to stay with me so I was comfortable. A thought did cross my mind that maybe so I don't bolt as well, but I didn't plan on it. Lucian made us supper around 6:00 PM. As we were eating Marcross steps in the kitchen wearing the most delicious suit I had ever seen. It was black with dark maroon accents and he smelled so good. I know my jaw was open. Lucian threw a roll at me and told me to close my fly trap, which made us all laugh. Marcross asked me not to get up and came from behind me and kissed my mark. I took this as respect for Lucian. Lucian reached over and squeezed my hand. After supper, I asked Lucian if I could be alone to take a nap and get ready. I wanted to freshen up and put on a little makeup as well. If hundreds of wolves were going to see me I wanted to look my best. I laid on my bed and went to sleep and sent my kids hug emoji's. I looked through the bathroom and found a curling kit and curled my hair. My hair was particularly wild this evening but I chuckled because I know the boys would love it. I put on some eye make up. I could feel my eyes burning and they would pulse blue. I wasn't for sure if that was my nerves in anticipation or something wolf related. I looked in the mirror and I had gained a little bit of weight. My breasts were busting out of this dress. I thought it would be better than the first dress but now I was worried. I put on some pink lip gloss and was ready. It was 11:30 PM. I stepped out of the bedroom and Lucian and Marcross were waiting for me. Lucian was dressed to kill as well, in a black suit with blue accents. I walked up to both of them and kissed each one on the cheek. Lucian touched my face and ran his thumb over my lips and eyes glowing yellow. "God Damn you are so beautiful!" Marcross nodded in agreement. I nervously said "Do we line up or go stand there or what?" Marcross looked at the clock and looked out the window at the moon. He said "Its now." He grabbed my hand and Lucian followed as we walked out on the deck down the stairs. They towered over me and seemed so much bigger than usual. When we got to the grass I had to adjust my eyes as I could hear gasps of the men standing all around. I could smell different smells and even a few familiar. There were so many men there I couldn't discern if I recognized any. I could feel my eyes glowing and a few men bowed when I walked by.
Marcross jumped up on the rock and Lucian picked me up and gave me to Marcross. Marcross squeezed my hand and kissed my cheek. Lucian jumped up and held my other hand.
Marcross said "Here is your Luna!" The crowd roared. Growls and howls, it sounded wild. Like the biggest heavy metal concert I had ever been to times three. The moon moved above the tree and shined through its branches. I turned around to see the shape of a wolf in the tree, it was magnificent. Lucian stepped behind me and put me in position. Marcross faced the crowd and said "Tonight marks a new eon, our Luna will bring to us hope and strength. May our God shine his light on our Luna and bring her back to us!" Another roar from the crowd. Lucian put his hand in my hair and kissed my mark. He touched my earring and looked at my necklace and gasped. He tightend his grip on my arm. Marcross approached me and moved my long hair to the side and kissed me on the lips. A deep sensual kiss that made me whimper. He looked at Lucian and looked at my necklace and touched it with his finger. He swallowed hard and seemed to recognize it. He touched my neck and as the moon light shown down on my glowing, translucent skin he transformed tearing his suit and bit down on my neck. Harder and harder he bit down, I could feel my blood burst forth and he sucked and lapped it up out of my neck. I heard Lucian growl as some blood trailed down the middle of my breasts. I didn't think about him going through this as well. It would be hard for both. Marcross grew bigger and bigger and I felt myself losing my life. My kids flashed before my eyes. My husband, his death our wedding. My father and mother together. I felt my body grow weak and my head fell limp in Lucian's hand, yet Marcross continued to drink my blood as is spurt out less and less. My eyes were glowing a bright blue and my eyes were wide open. I transitioned into my full wolf as a last burst of strength I had and I could feel my soul start to leave my body. My body felt so heavy and my eyes dimmed. Lucian laid me down on the rock and faced me toward the sky. Marcross in his massive, black wolf form howled at the moon. The crowded howled. Lucian shed a tear looking at me laying on the cold stone. A tear escaped his eyes and fell into my necklace. My soul leaped from my body and I flew above the rock. I faced the crowd and to my amazement they could see me but were speechless. I felt very objective and no feelings of sadness. I heard the some one yell "She's an angel!" I looked back at my body and a small scale appeared on my body. One after another until a huge fan of white scales covered my body. I transformed into a white dragon. My breasts burst out of my dress with scales accenting my curves, my teeth and claws grew and my eyes glowed blue. I laid on the rock in all my scaled glory. My ghostly self turned to face Marcross and Lucian. I shot up into the air and spun until clouds formed. I spoke in a heavenly voice "Put her on the highest rock and leave her! Only the rain can touch her! Do not remove her until the storm passes!" The sky then opened, clouds rushed in, and the storm brewed violently. Marcross and Lucian jumped off the rock and a familiar voice roared, it was Codger. He said, "Did you not hear her, put her on the highest rock, now!" Codger ripped into his form of a bear, grabbed me and took me to the back field to the tallest hill and laid me down gently on the rock. My eyes were lifeless but the scales appeared to create an armor over me. The wound on my body was no loger visible but covered.
I shot up into heaven passing the storm, into the stars. I looked down at myself and I was transparent. I flew through the stars and called for my mother. I looked down at my body and the rain was starting. As one drop fell, a scale would disappear. I heard my name, "Karina, come to me." "Mom, Mother!" I yelled. From the brightest star my mother came to me. We embraced in the heaven's twirling in the sky. I was no longer close to my body. Mother grabbed my face and said my "Dear smart girl!" She said, "We don't have much time. I was in a ritual as well but not with people who loved me. They are keeping me alive just enough to take my strength. I am so weak I can no longer stay in my body. I need you to find me to allow me to go with your father." I said "Where mother, where do I look?" She said "The snake is from a dragon family, our distant family but they are losing their dragon traits. They know we have them and will try and steal it from you. My strength is leaving and they know it so they need another one. You and Shayla are in great danger! If they keep me I will die but my soul won't be able to move on, I will be trapped. Find me and bury me by your father." I said "How do I know if I'm on the right path?" Mother twirled around with me and said "You already know you are, the black wolf will never lead you astray and they have great love for you. Go be with them and flourish! Go be their Luna!" Mother took me down faster and faster through the stars. We landed on the rock and the rain stopped. My body lied there naked and in human form again. My mother hovered over my body and kissed my cheek. She smiled at my necklace, looked at me and flew up to the heaven's. I laid down back into my body and went into a deep sleep.
The skys cleared and the moon was peaking out behind the clouds. Marcross and Lucian approached me. Marcross lifted me up into his arms and howled. He carried me back down to the house. I could feel my body being bathed and could hear faint talking. Marcross and Lucian sat up with me all night and all day the next day by my bedside and didn't sleep. The next night the moon was out again and poured into the window onto my bed. It felt warm and healing. I woke up to see Marcross and Lucian sleeping in chairs by the bed. I sat up in bed. Charmane was standing in the doorway, looked at me then dropped her glass on the floor. Everyone woke up with a start and it made me chuckle. Lucian jumped onto the bed and looked me over. Marcross just stared at me in silence. I said "Did it work?" Everyone started laughing. Marcross came over to the bed and buried his head into my chest. Lucian could not stop touching me. No one would say a word. I said "I am starving, when can we eat?"
