Chapter 10: His Claim

“Alpha, Luna, there is an Alpha Harvey Green and his son, future Alpha Maxwell at the gate.” Gordon looked over at Storm. “They are demanding to see you; they claim that Luna belongs to Alpha Maxwell.” “What the fuck is he talking about? Storm belongs here with us.” Silas snapped. “Silas calm down.” Alex told him. “Gordon, show them to the conference room, make sure to have some extra guards at the ready just in case.” Alex instructed. “I want eyes on them at all times.” Blasé ordered. “Why would they claim that I belong to him?” Storm asked. “I don’t even know who they are. I didn’t even know who I was until I met Blasé.” She rubbed her face. “Don’t you worry sugarbear, no one…” Blasé said lifting her chin, so she was looking at him ”…and I mean NO ONE is going to take you from me.” He assured her.

“Blasé, let’s meet with this Alpha Green and his son, find out what is going on. Storm, sweetheart, would you mind asking Tobias and Doltyn to join us in the conference room.” Alex asked. She looked up at Blasé. “It’s okay sugarbear. Go get them and we will all sit and hear what they have to say.” He told her. “Storm…” Alex called her “…they will NOT be taking you from your pack. You are our Luna and my daughter, no one will be taking you anywhere.” Alex told her. “Now, go get your uncle and cousin and meet us in the conference room. Thank you, Poppy.” She giggled hugging him then went to get her uncle and cousin. “I can’t lose her dad.” Blasé sighed. “And you won’t. We will fight for her. She’s our family just like the triplets.” Alex tried to assure his son. “But we first need to find out who they are and why they think Storm belongs to Maxwell.”

“Doltyn, Uncle Tobi.” She called out walking in the living room. Little did she know that Doltyn was silently walking behind her with Rebel hanging on his shoulders. Right before Storm turned around Rebel yelled “…BOO!” Making his mama jump and shriek. “AAAHHHHHHHHH!” Rebel was laughing hard trying not to fall off Doltyn’s shoulders. “Storm! What happened?” Blasé asked bring Storm against his chest. She buried her face in his chest and started laughing. “Blasé, sorry that was my fault.” Doltyn motioned to himself. Rebel was trying not to laugh. “We snuck up on her and Rebel yelled boo.” He explained. “We scare mama.” Rebel giggled. Storm calmed and lightly giggled. “Doltyn, are you going to be a bad influence on my little angel?” Storm asked her cousin. He points to himself innocently. “Me?” He huffs. “I would never.” He winked at Rebel who continued to giggle. “Yeah mama, he would neber.” Rebel agreed with his cousin. “As much as I hate to bust up your fun.” Blasé chuckled. “We have some business to attend to.” His voice turning serious. Tobias and Doltyn nodded. “Meg, my love.” Doltyn called to his mate. “Would you take Rebel to his room and help him get ready for bed?” She looked up at him, leaned into his ear…Please protect her all costs. He kissed her cheek, of course, he assured kissing her cheek.

“Come along my little troublemaker.” Megan called Rebel to her. “Let’s get you bathed, in your jammies and ready for bed.” “Mama, you come.” Rebel asked. “No baby, I have to help dad for a little while and when we are done, we will come see you.” He lightly huffed. “Otway.” He pouted. The triplets had gotten used to their parents tucking them in every night and spending quiet time with them. So, when they couldn’t, which was very rare, they got very fussy. “I promise we will see you before mama and I go to bed.” Blasé tried to assure Rebel. Storm kissed the top of his head. “I love you baby, now go with Megan.” She whispered to him hugging him tight. Megan held her hand out to Rebel and led him upstairs to join his brother and sister. “I hate seeing him sad.” Storm sighed. “I know but he’ll be okay.” “They need to get used to it, there are times we may not even be home to tuck them in. As long as they family around to tuck them in, they will be fine.” Blasé brushed a kiss across her forehead. “Let’s deal with these intruders so we can get back to our pups.” He told her as he led her to the conference room.

“It’s about time.” Alpha Harvey Green growled. “You’ve kept us waiting long enough.” He huffed as Maxwell smirked at Storm. “You are the ones that showed up unannounced and uninvited.” Blasé snarled. “We had to send our pups to bed without us, which has disrupted their bedtime routine. Storm stated narrowing her eyes. “Yeah, so state your business, so we can get back to our pups.” Blasé snapped. “We are here to collect what belongs to my son.” Alpha Harvey blurted out making himself comfortable, and she’s supposed to be untouched. He glared at Blasé. Alex and Blasé narrowed their eyes at both Alpha’s. “Since when does a visiting Alpha take a seat without being invited to?” Alex questioned with irritation. “Considering you have kept us waiting, I didn’t think it was an issue.” Alpha Harvey said in a bored tone.

“Hhmmppff…you come into my territory unannounced and uninvited, claiming that my daughter-in-law and Luna belongs to your son, and you say we are the ones being disrespectful?!” Alex scowled. Tobias placed a hand on Alex’s shoulder. “So, tell us why is it you claim that my niece belongs to your son? I mean, Silvermoon is at least eight hundred miles away from your pack. I don’t see how that is even possible. She said that she has never met you or your son.” Doltyn stated. “I don’t even know where your pack is.” Storm stated, she moved a little closer to Blasé. Maxwell kept looking her up and down and licking his lips. “Eeewwweee, he is so gross.” Lylah whispered.

“We were promised the little female clinging to that little pup.” Alpha Harvey pointed to Blasé. “Who made that promise?” Blasé asked. “Her father was paid a large sum of money for her. He was to keep her safe, educate her and teach her to be submissive.” He started to explain. “She was also supposed to be kept on our territory, but he told us that his father was very ill and needed to come back to his home pack.” Maxwell continued. “Said that his mother needed him.” “Hahaha…” Silas laughed. Alpha Harvey glared at him. “What’s so funny?” Maxwell tensed at Silas’ disrespect. “Oh, nothing just that Fred’s parent, both of them, died when he was eighteen.” Silas continued to chuckle. “That’s when he asked for time away to find his mate. He’s nothing but a liar and a thief.” Silas ended with a growl. “What do you mean?” Maxwell asked. “Of course, you wouldn’t know.” Blasé narrowed his eyes. “Frank and his mate, Nancy, who is MY mate’s mother, killed her father, the late great Alpha Brandon Hawk. If you had contacted me then you I would’ve told you all this.” Alex smirked. Maxwell stood to his feet and faced Blasé nose to nose.

“Wrong! She is my mate!” Maxwell roared. Blasé placed himself in front of Storm as Tobias, Doltyn, Silas and Gordon circled Blasé and Storm. “You will stay away from my niece and her pups.” Tobias warned. Storm stepped out from behind Blasé and out from the circle of muscle protecting her. “I belong to no one!” She said glaring at the uninvited Alpha’s. “I paid your father…” he started but was quickly interrupted by Storm. “Wrong! He’s not and never has been my father.” She lowly growled. “He killed my father. You’ve lost whatever money you paid him because I will not be going with you. My home is here with my true mate and my pups.”

“You are supposed to be untouched.” Alpha Harvey yelled. Storm rolled her eyes at him. “My virtue is none of your business.” She continued to glare at the Alpha’s. “You trusted the wrong person.” She started to explain. “You see, Frank and his mate, my so-called mother, abused me for the last nine years. I had to provide for myself and pay for my own care and education. I guess he failed to tell you that. So, however much you gave him, he spent it on himself and his mate. You can kiss that money good-bye.” She clicked her tongue. “When I found her, Frank was beating her in the courtyard of the university she attended. He left her unconscious for weeks. She and the pups barely had clothes for a week and lived in small room, they were all very underweight, they are still underweight.” Blasé stepped up behind her and hugged her. “Who is the father those mutts?! Are you not a virgin?” Maxwell seethed. “Son, calm yourself.” His father cooed at him. “They will not be your heirs.” He told his son in a dismissive manner. “Of course, they will not be his heirs!” Storm snapped. She stood strong. “I don’t care who you are. I am not going with you. He had no right to even think of selling me. I am not a piece of property that can be negotiated for and sold.” She gritted through her teeth. “Sugarbear, please stay calm.” Blasé whispered to her, he could feel her starting to tremble.

Elder Mary walked into the room followed by Elder Matt and two other older couples along with Elder Eric. “You do realize that the trafficking of people weather they are human or supernatural is illegal in any realm? And you just admitted to doing that?” Alpha Harvey snorted. “Who the hell are you and what are you going to do about it?” He said smugly. “I am Elder Mary.” She stated. “This is my mate, Elder Matthew. This is Elder’s Evers, Linda, Maggie, Carson, and Eric.” She indicated to each one. “It has been brought to our attention that you paid Frank Walters a large sum of money to purchase the soon to be Luna of the SilverMoon pack, Storm Lylah Hawk SilverMoon. Luna to Blasé Asher SilverMoon and true Alpha heir to the Hawk Hill pack.” She summed up everything that she just heard. “Alpha heir? Hahahahaha, she is no Alpha or even a worthy Luna. There is no such thing as a female Alpha.” Maxwell sighed with boredom. “The problem is that it is against all laws to purchase a creature of any species including the humans.” Elder Evers stated angrily. “I still don’t see what the problem is. It’s done in our pack every day.” Alpha Harvey informed. “Well, then I guess we will need to send someone to investigate your pack and thank you for the admission.” Elder Linda stated as she glared at Alpha Harvey and his son.

“I am not and have I ever been a member of your pack.” Storm growled. “Even if the selling of a person or wolf was allowed, Frank WALTERS, Storm emphasized Frank’s last name, wouldn’t have had the right to sell me, he is not my father. He is not my blood.” Storm stated. “Makes no difference to me.” Maxwell said. “I paid good money for you. You are MINE.” He stood taller and stared her down, thinking that he was going to intimidate her. “I DO NOT BELONG TO YOU!” Storm gritted as she stood toe to toe with him and poked his chest. “You think you can come here and assume that I am your property?” She snorted. “I am no one’s property.” She said standing tall. “Contrary to my true mates thinking, I maybe his mate but I only belong to him because I am agreeing to be his.” She looked over at her mate. “You think I’m just some weak female?” She narrowed her eyes. Her aura changed, there was a surge of energy flowing through her. Alpha Harvey lunged for her, but before anyone could react, she had him pinned to the wall gripping his neck. The Alpha was struggling to break free from a she-wolf. Maxwell moved to help his father but was stopped by Gordon and Doltyn.

Storm closed her eyes and when she reopened them, they were glowing gold. “Who…who are you?” Alpha Harvey asked as he panted and struggled for breath. “I am Lylah, daughter of Zeus, leader of the Gods and Goddesses. He and the other Gods and Goddesses have sent me here to save their innocent children from filth like you.” She said looking down on Alpha Harvey struggle in her grip. “You could say that I am their enforcer.” She said as she slowly tightened her grip around his neck. “You see they are appalled by the way you have been treating their innocent children. You, your disgusting son, and your accomplices have been watched by them and you have been judged. You, Alpha Harvey Green, have been found guilty of crimes against your brother and sister wolves. And you have been stripped of your Alpha title and all that goes with it.” Lylah smirked titling her head to the side glaring at her prey. “What?!” Maxwell yelled bring attention to himself. Lylah narrowed her eyes and turned to look at him. “You should have kept quiet. I forgot you were standing there.” Lylah raised one eyebrow. “You, Maxwell Green, have also been found guilty of crimes against your fellow wolves.” She told him. “Gordon.” Lylah looked at him. “You are now, of course, with the blessing of your Alpha, in charge of my warrior army.” Lylah smiled at Gordon and looked at Blasé. Blasé grinned and nodded in agreement. “Please escort Maxwell to the cells. We will be tasked with the protection of our innocent brothers and sisters.”

“You will address me as Alpha Maxwell!” He seethed. “And what about my father?” Lylah smirked at him. “He has been sentenced to death.” She told him as she squeezed Harvey’s neck until they heard a snap. Lylah dropped his body as Maxwell howled at the loss of his father and his warriors howled for their loss as well. “How could the Moon Goddess do this?” Maxwell snarled. “She’s supposed to care for her children and not allow harm to come to us.” He sobbed over his father’s body. “True, but I am not my mother.” Lylah shrugged. “My human maybe sweet and compassionate like our mother but I, the animal side have no compassion for beings like you, your father, or any beings like you. That is why I was sent to deal with this issue. I know evil and Storm knows innocence. We will balance each other. Besides you and your horrid father are far from innocent, only the will be protected by us.”

“Lylah.” She turned and looked to the voice calling her name. Her eyes soften as she looked at her true mate. “Mate.” She purred. Blasé allowed Asher to come forward. He caressed Lylah’s cheek. “Mate.” He whispered nuzzling her hair and inhaling her scent. “Ehem.” They heard the clearing of a throat. “Go away.” Asher growled as they both turned to see everyone watching them and she blushed lightly. “Gordon, please go ahead and take Mr. Green to the dungeons.” Blasé instructed. “You will address me as Alpha!” Maxwell growled. “Ha!” Lylah snorted. “Need I remind you? You are no longer an Alpha. You have been stripped of your title.” “What? You can’t do that! What about my pack?” He glared at Storm. “Not to worry. I already have plans in place for them.” She turned looking around. “Silas, please bring in the warriors that accompanied the former Alpha’s.” Silas nodded and sprinted out. A few minutes later, he walked in with the warriors.

The Green Forest warriors growled when they saw their Alpha dead on the floor and their future Alpha being restrained. “What is the meaning of this?” A large male snarled, who it was assumed was the Beta. “You will watch your tone with me, pup.” Lylah warned. “Otherwise, you will meet the same fate as them.” She told him as she motioned to his dead Alpha. “I am Lylah, Enforcer to the Gods and Goddesses, and I have been sent here to carry out the punishments that Gods and Goddess’ have imposed on not only your former Alpha’s but all the others that have been involved in the abuse, killing, selling and any other crimes against your fellow brother and sister wolves and other species. You will be held in our dungeons until such time it can be determined if you were involved in any crimes.” Lylah heard a slight whimper. “You there.” She pointed to a young male in the back. “Come here.” He froze in place. “If you have committed no crime, then you have nothing to fear. Have you committed any crimes?” He nodded his head no. “Then come stand before me.” He slowly walked to the front and bowed before her. “What is your name?” She asked him. Dillon.” Lylah looked at him, she was sizing him up. “You weren’t born in the Green Forest pack, were you?” “No, I was not. My parents were killed when Alpha Green and his son attacked my home pack.” He looked over his shoulder to the snarling males behind him. “You are nothing but a traitor!” The male snarled at him. “You will keep your mouth shut mutt!” Lylah growled at the male. She looked over the males standing in front of her with her eyes closed. She used her powers to see into their souls, their hearts and saw who they really are. “Dillon, you are no longer apart of the Green Forest pack. You and any other innocent wolves will be inducted to the SilverMoon pack or any other pack that they wish to join.” “Thank you, Luna. I have two younger siblings that have been kept locked up by Alpha Harvey.” He informed her. “He has used them to make me do things I don’t want to do.” He explained. “There are others as well.” He admitted.

“Silas. You and Karla will go with Dillon to Green Forest and inform them of the situation. They will be allowed to apply to join a different pack but first they will be brought here. I must make sure they had no part in the abuse, selling or any crimes against innocents.” She instructed. “Should anyone disappear before they are brought before me, you will send trackers after them, they will face their punishment.” “We will leave first thing in the morning.” Silas told her. “Take some warriors with you to make sure there are no problems.” Storm instructed. “Storm is that you?” Silas asked raising an eyebrow. “Well, duh. Of course, it is.” She rolled her eyes at him. “Who else would it be?” Lylah was getting tired and needed a rest, so she pushed me forward.” She chuckled. “What about you?” Blasé asked. “How are you feeling?” He put his arm around her waist. “I’m okay, a little surprised but okay.” Storm. Tobias called. “I will also send the warriors that I brought with us as well. Just to make sure no one defies the Goddess.” “Thank you, Uncle.” Storm hugged him. “Well, we have pups to tuck in. We will see you in the morning.” Blasé said taking Storm in his arms and led her upstairs. Everyone said good night and went to their rooms.

Storm quickly walked to her little one’s bedroom; Blasé was right on her heels. He was surprised at what just happened, but he was so full of pride. “Our mate is the daughter of the Moon Goddess. “ Asher cooed to his human. Blasé chuckled. “Crazy, huh?” He responded. “Not to me.” Asher told him. “I knew our mate was…is special.” He scoffed at Blasé. “So then why didn’t you tell me?” Blasé asked frowning at his beast. Asher stuck his tongue out at Blasé ”…You didn’t ask.” He snorted.

“Mama! Dada!” Their three pups squealed running and jumped up in their parent’s arms. “You three are supposed to be asleep.” Blasé playfully scolded. “We tried to get them to go to sleep,” Megan started to explain, “but they wanted to wait for you.” She finished. “I’m so sorry you had to wait my loves.” Storm cuddled her babies. “Now, c’mon let’s get you tucked in.” Storm said putting River down on her feet. River ran into Marco’s arms and nuzzled into his neck. “River, sweetheart.” Blasé called her. She sleepily looked at her dad. “You and your brothers can come and sleep with us.” She furrowed her little eyebrows together. “Wha bout Coco?” She pouted hugging her Coco tight. “I need to help with patrol tonight. One of the guys mate just had a little pup and wants to spend some time with his mate and new pup.” He explained to her. Her eyes got bright. “A new pup? Can I see new pup also?” She asked. He chuckled. “Give them a few days and then we can see about meet the new pack member.” He told her. “Now you go to bed, and I will be back before you wake up in the morning.” He kissed the top of her head, and she nuzzled a little deeper enjoying being in his arms. She and her brothers have their wolf, but they are still too young to know who their mate is, but her wolf had imprinted on Marco which was pretty much her staking her claim on Marco. All the she-wolves already knew that Marco was and is off limits. A few of them have already felt her little wrath.
