Chapter 2 Accident Came

We headed to the desert for a photo shoot on that fateful afternoon. Under the golden land lies the buried immortal dust. The majestic pyramids and the eagle perched high on a pedestal, gazing coldly from the heavens, fixated on me.

"Legend has it that after an Egyptian pharaoh dies, they wrap themselves as a mummy, waiting for millennia for the cycle of rebirth in the pursuit of eternal life… Sacrificing their entire soul for this."

The guide pointed the way ahead, and the team set up camp here, testing the photography equipment:

"Entering the realm of the pharaoh requires reverence. Otherwise, it will bring heavenly calamity…"

The meticulously arranged high dunes blinked with the wise light of carved Horus eyes, and the ancient golden land buildings inspired awe. The photographer was unsatisfied with my poses and came forward to adjust my posture, giving me directions.

"Arch your back, yes, like that, sexier."

Due to the nature of the work, the photographer touched my body. In a strange premonition, the shadowy gaze from before shifted onto the photographer. There was no fiery heat, only a sinister air. The sunlight shone on the photographer, guiding my movements, darkening the corners of their eyes. And the desert glowed brightly. As the sun set, our work came to an end. We were packing up and started to set up the GPS but in an instant. The photographer suddenly collapsed, bleeding from all seven orifices. The unexpected happened!
