"It's been two days since Jude came home, I wonder where he went? What business meeting does he have that he didn't want me to come with him" Maya sighed.

She misses him so badly.

Madelyn has been acting weirdly toward her, yeah she knows Madelyn doesn't like her but she seems to be nice these days.

She smiles from time to time, and she laughs without reason.

Maya feels so bored and lonely in the big mansion, though she is keeping herself busy with work still without Jude she feels empty.

She is done in the office, she packs her stuff drove to the house.

As she was about to enter, Madelyn blocked her" And what are you doing here?" She asked.

"I'm home," Maya said trying to go in but Madelyn pushes her.

"What home? This isn't your house you crook"

"Please ma, I had a hectic day at work covering for the boss, reschedule his appointment, I'm so famished."

"So?" Madelyn asked.

"Can I pass, I'm tired" Maya protested.

"Go where? You are not entering my house, you filthy secretary"

"This is Jude's house!" Maya cried out.

"This is my son's house! so leave"

"Jude hired me, he permit me to stay here so I'm going nowhere"

Madelyn laughed"Hire you? Hire you for bed activities? You should be ashamed of yourself"

"Why do you hate me so much, why? I did nothing wrong"

"says who? I want you to leave my son, I know you, I know your type, you gold digger"

"I'm going nowhere, only Jude has permission to send me away"

"you are fired, leave!" Madelyn yelled.

"Only my boss can fire me, you didn't employ me" Madelyn slapped Maya.

"How dare you? How dare you this thing, just wait till Jude comes back, you will leave by yourself with your own feet, fool!" Madelyn spat at her and left.

Maya sighed, she went in feeling so frustrated.

"I need to avoid that woman by all means" She dropped her bag on one of the sofas and went to the kitchen to get herself coffee.

Maya called Jude's line but it was switched off, she threw her phone on the sofa in frustration.

"Why isn't he picking up? It's been two days and I can't reach him."

"Or is he seeing another woman? is he cheating on me?"

"Why would he go to a place without taking me along and why is his phone switched off? Is he cheating on me? Is that why he has been misbehaving recently?, no, I trust Henry he won't dear"

"Jude loves me so much, he wouldn't cheat, am just overreacting," Maya thought as she took the tv remote put on the news.

She sat down pressing her phone while the anchor cast today's showbiz news.

Seeing Jude's getting married to another woman.

"I thought I had him in my claws? Was I too slow? I made him fall in love with me, what went wrong?" As tears were falling, anger was also burning inside her.

"I know it's Madelyn's plan, she is the one behind this, that's why his phone is switched off, that bastard after all we did, I sacrifice my body to him"

Maya picked up her phone and called him again but the result was the same 'switch off' Maya throw her phone in annoyance which causes the phone to scatter.

"Shit!" She cursed.

"what will happen to my plans? I was getting nearer to what I wanted, now a woman has him. Well it's going to be a battle because I will not leave him married or not"

"That Liya should better be prepared for war, she and Madelyn should get ready for the war cause I won't back down."

Maya clean her tears and left the house to see someone.

"Why do you think so? Because it can't talk, at least be humane" Liya went to his side, remove the flower from his grip.

"Sorry little thing," She said patting its petals.

Jude stood transfixed, is she talking to this plant? why is she sweet towards this flower but harsh on him?

He stood up in annoyance and left.

Liya follows suit.

"I want to ask you something?"Liya asked.

"What?"

"When we go back to your house, are we staying in the same room? I want a separate room"

Jude hissed.

"Why did you hiss? It brings bad omen"

"listen we are married, I am your husband, I have all access to you same as you do to me, why should we sleep in different rooms?"

"I just don't..." Jude interrupted her.

"what? Is it because I'm not Ryan?" He asked which took Jude by surprise.

"How did you know Ryan?"

"All I can say is you are married to me not Ryan so the earlier you forget about your ex, the better for you"

"Ryan isn't an ex!" Jude shouted.

"Really?" He moves closer to her.

"Keeping that guy in your life will do you no good because, with time, He will move on" Jude whispered to her ear.

He pulled Jude to him and attempted to kiss her but Liya withdrew.

"What's wrong with you?"Jude asked feeling insulted, no lady has ever rejected him.

"We got married for business purposes and that's it," Jude said and went upstairs.

Jude has had enough of Liya's behavior, he grabs his phone and switches it on to call his mum.

He saw 6 missed calls from Maya.

"What does she want?"

He called his mum telling her that he wants a divorce.

"Divorce? Why?" Madelyn was scared.

"She denies me access to her"

"What? Outrageous! calm down, I will solve this"Madelyn said and hang up.

She phoned Liya immediately, She threatened her to please her husband or her family will pay in a bitter way.

Jude and his wife came back home, it was late at night when they arrived.
