CHAPTER Three

Austin Greg Coleman

“Thank you for your cooperation today, Austin, you’ll make this new episode a hit!” My manager clapped his hands.

“Yeah, whatever makes you happy,” I told him before waving my hands goodbye because he didn’t listen to me at all.

I didn’t want to participate in the episode he was trying to get me into, but he kept insisting that it was going to be huge.

He is not wrong, but sometimes, all he cares about is the gains and never the state of the person he is working with.

But I’m grateful if it’s not for him. I would never be at this peak where a lot of people admire me.

That wouldn’t also happen if I don’t have great talents myself, he would be not a great manager without me, ha!

I shook my head at my thought before pinching my nose as I jumped into my car incognito and drove back home. I can’t believe it took us until the next day to finish.

It was a very tiring week for me. I’ve been awake all night and I wanted to get some rest the moment I get home.

Being an actor and alpha of the pack at the same time almost took a toll on my body and time, but I’m managing alright.

Except that my father is there to nag me all the time about this freaking bodyguard thing I don’t like. It is a good thing that my beta convinced him not to.

I parked the car swiftly on the lot and entered the mansion. I stopped in my tracks after smelling that scent of strawberries and vanilla, it was something I know that belongs to my soulmate. What the hell, is it possible that she’s here?

I couldn’t help but be curious as I paced swiftly upstairs and opened the door. Surprisingly, a lot of people were waiting for me in the lobby and then I saw her.

She has these velvety curls of fawn and bright blue eyes. Her skin is slightly tanned, but it was glowing as if it was fair.

“Mate,” My wolf whispered and I kind of felt like I knew her. She was the smell I sniffed outside of the mansion. It was just too powerful.

“Dad, who is this woman?” I pointed at her, and she looked like she was surprised that I did that before squinting in her eyes. I didn’t know that someone could look adorable while doing that, I’m sure she’s enchanted with my looks as well. I mean, who wouldn’t?

What happened next surprised me when she started walking towards me, everything felt like it went in slow motion when she offered her hands to me.

“Celestia Ryn Austen, it’s nice to see you again, Coleman,” There was this adorable smirk on her lips, which made my eyes widen.

“R-Ryn? Is that you?” I almost gasped in surprise but made sure she wouldn't notice it as I composed myself.

“I am, it’s been a while, you almost didn’t recognize me,” She muttered while trying to hide her amusement, but she failed at that.

“How could I recognize when you are this beautiful? You were just wearing pigtails back then and oversized shirts that don't compliment all of the colors in the rainbow,” I told her, making Rolland laugh.

“Oh damn, now I remember!” He laughed out loud. I could tell how insulted she was with her cheeks burning bright red.

“That was literally two decades ago, how can you remember such detail?” She shook her head before averting her gaze.

“What are you doing here?” I curiously asked. As much as I wanted everyone to know that she was my mate, I don’t want any issues to arise.

I clearly remember that she doesn’t want people crowding up on her for no reason at all. Plus, she has not been very happy with the soulmate bond of werewolves.

She was highly against it back then when we were kids. I don’t know what her reason was, but she kept mentioning them or us having the freedom to choose who we love even without the rules of the moon goddess.

It was an absurd thought when werewolves talked about it, but she is human, which is why I didn’t say anything back then.

Celestia wouldn’t understand our side because, from the beginning, she was never like us. But I would appreciate it if she would understand one day.

Especially because she would be the Luna of this pack since she is my mate, “Well what else? I’m going to stay here,”

“Stay?!” Rolland and I reacted in unison, forcing me to glare at him as he raised his hands in defeat.

“Yeah…is that a problem? You already accompanied me to my room, Rolland,” She rolled her eyes before glaring at him.

It seems like she was trying to send him a message. I shook my head before deciding to approach her, “Why would you stay here? Did something happen?”

My question made everyone stop as if they were surprised to hear that question from me, “Well, son, her father has to leave for a long time,”

“He does not trust her to handle the solace alone with her cousins, which is why he entrusted her to us,” Father smiled before approaching her.

Celestia looked like she sighed in relief before nodding to my father, “That is right, I’m going to stay here for as long as I want, do you have a problem with that?”

I shook my head, “Of course not, it’s just that, aren’t you still studying for your final year?” I tilted my head.

“I’m going to take home and online classes right now, I already passed some letters and got approval from my dean and professors,” She told me, which made me nod.

“Well, if that is so then welcome to my house, I’m sure things will get more interesting now that you are here,” I told her while pinching my nose.

“I have to go rest since it has been a really tiring week for me, see you later?” I yawned before bidding her goodbye.

As much as I wanted to spend more time with her, I’m sure she wouldn’t be able to resist my hotness. I mean, who wouldn’t find me hot?

My body has been blessed by the moon goddess because she was sure my mate would like me this way.

Plus, I’m not sure if I want to pursue my mate immediately. After all, I still have dreams I need to reach.

With her living here in this mansion for who knows how long, I’m not sure what will happen, but I’ll just go with the flow.

“Do you want me to accompany you to your room?” Celestia asked. What she said forced me to face her before sniggering.
