CHAPTER 3

Dizzy, tired and broken Isabella just sat on the floor, as she heard horses approaching,

The place guards had followed her to where she had reached, they were all shocked by her disheveled look as they wondered why she was on the floor looking so distraught, she wasn’t herself anymore, not even really taking not as the guards had taken her back to the place where the king had been waiting.

In a rush, he had come to meet his dear daughter who still hadn’t said a word,

Days passed and Ivy was left cooped up in her room as she hardly ate nor talked to anyone, the kind had made up his mind to make his daughter’s dream come true but mating her to the alpha she had always wanted since he was the reason that she almost died, as he had hoped that would bring back the light that was in her eyes.

The omega had not eaten for days as she just felt like dying, she had nothing else to live for, she couldn’t find her father’s body nor the trace of Kal, the alpha she had ever come to love, she had just closed her eyes as she longed for death.

She had felt herself drifting, opening her eyes up, so see like she was in trance, a dark place where the only thing that shined was the moon that looked oddly too bright and closely.

"Where am I?" she called.

"Anna," she heard her name looked up to see no one there.

"who’s there, show yourself"

"You called me first," the voice spoke before Anna had grasped it, it was the moon goddess.

"Why, did you bring me back, I don’t understand why, and worse in another body, I have no recollection of," Anna explained.

"I brought you back because your prayers reached me and your pure soul was too good to leave this world"

"But my papa, I have nothing else to live for"

"Live for yourself," the voice echoed, "you say you have no purpose omega, but you do, remember why you asked me to bring you back, why I helped you" the voice spoke as it faded.

At those words Annas eyes flew open she got up from the bed to face the mirror to look at her unfamiliar reflection, this may not be her body, but she had a purpose for coming back and she was going to finish it, the duke had not only taken her life but her father’s life too, from the bottom of her heart, elites had given her a bad taste in her mouth she hated every last one of them, especially alphas after they had violated her.

Anna had then made up her mind that from then on, she would live on as Ivy, and make every last one of them pay.

Michael Vance, was an alpha elite, a man of grace and poise, with his parents dying at a young age he had been given the inheritance a task of burden as every eye was now on him, especially as he presented as alpha and a pure one at that fact both of his parents were alphas.

His status and secondary gender had the right and wrong crowd lining up for him, but he had never cared to look at the omegas, even the ever-persistent princess Ivy who was the king’s daughter, a spoilt brat who felt like the world was at her fingertips to control and have, but one thing that she couldn’t get no matter how hard she tried was the Michael.

A heart had already been taken by the unknown, an omega in a quiet town that had his eyes since he had traveled down to his holiday manor located in the quiet village.

On the first day in the town, dressing as a commoner not to draw attention to himself and rather to enjoy his time away from the princess and his official duty.

He had walked to a secluded lake where he had come across a figure so into her painting that she didn’t notice the crunch of the dry figs until he got so close, making her gasp, in a split turn she had grabbed shrapnel, and with instincts, skillfully tackling him down both had an upper hand and turned her over until his huge frame had covered her.

They had both reacted with alarm then surprise they looked at each other.

Beautiful, he thought as he stared on after the omega but his trance was broken after he heard her talk.

"Who are you?" She called that was then he noticed the small sharp object lined to his neck.

With a little smirk pulled off of her, with his hand up showing he had no defense of sort, "I don’t mean no harm, I just came closer to admire your work" he noted pointing at her painting, making her guard lower a little, "my apologies omega, I didn’t mean to scare you" he spoke warmly.

"Can I ask your name?" he asked, already enthralled by her presence as she watched her pack, she had then stopped and for split seconds their eyes met, and like an instant spark had then drawn to each other.

"It’s Anna," she answered after studying him and he didn’t ’give off the dangerous effect.

"yours?"

He had thought over it, and since he was still trying to keep his location unknown from the princess and other elites that seem to be on his case, he had to keep a low profile including his name, instead of telling her his name was Michael he had lied instead.

"My name is… Kal," he spoke earning a nod from her.

"Where did you learn to spar like that?", he said trying to form a conversation.

"My papa had taught me all that she called, to protect myself," as she had said the last part with intent, "That’s commendable," he said as he stared her down, even if she may want to deny it, Michael could feel the chemistry radiating off them as his wolf naturally wanted to get closer and run his scent over her,

"I have to go," she had called before getting up, my papa is waiting,

"Wait will I see you again?"

"Who knows Kal, maybe?" She had called back with a smile.

At first, she was wary of him, but after a few weeks of knowing him, she had concluded that he was safe, as they had often met at the riverside.

It was like a lifelong accomplishment for alpha Michael to watch her paint as he had never seen any unique painting like hers, each stroke with a precision that he didn’t know why she didn’t sell it.
