During a trip to Athens, in the ancient temple of Apollo, Cecilia's life changes forever. Gerardo is deeply hurt because his ex-girlfriend Beatriz has broken up with him and has committed herself to a new man, his best friend, just two weeks after ending things with him. Desiring to forget his painful past, Gerardo travels to Greece and there he meets Cecilia. Both share a love for ancient sites; she is a beautiful journalist who is studying the temple of Apollo for a report.
