Bound to Harold´s Pack

Ethan´s POV:

The scent of pine and damp earth filled the air as I patrolled the borders of Harold's Pack. My steps were steady, my senses alert, as I moved through the dense forest. I was a member of the Beta's guard, loyal to the core and committed to protecting our territory from any threats that might dare to cross our boundaries.

As I walked, my thoughts drifted to the recent news that had shaken our pack. A new Breeder had been acquired, and her arrival had stirred a mixture of curiosity and apprehension among our members. The whispers said that she was from a rival pack, sold to us as part of a deal. I couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for her. The life of a Breeder was one of servitude, a fate that no one would willingly choose.

A rustle in the bushes caught my attention, and I tensed, ready for action. But it was just another patrol member, Marcus, who emerged from the shadows.

"Everything seems quiet, Ethan," he reported, his eyes scanning the surroundings.

I nodded in acknowledgment, my mind still occupied by the new arrival. Who was she, and what had brought her to this unfortunate fate? My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of footsteps approaching from behind.

"Marcus, Ethan, Alpha Harold wants to see you both," a voice called out.

We turned to see David, another member of our patrol, gesturing for us to follow him. With a shared glance, Marcus and I followed him back to the pack's center, where Alpha Harold's den stood tall and imposing.

As we entered, Alpha Harold's gaze fixed on us. "I have a task for the two of you," he began, his voice low and authoritative. "Our new Breeder needs protection. There have been murmurs of unrest among some of our pack members, and I want to ensure her safety."

Marcus and I exchanged a quick look. Protecting a Breeder was not uncommon, but it was a responsibility that required vigilance and dedication.

"Understood, Alpha Harold," I replied, my voice respectful.

Alpha Harold's eyes bore into mine for a moment, as if assessing my commitment. "Good. She is in the designated Breeder's residence. Go there now and remain on guard."

We left the den and made our way to the Breeder's residence, a separate building within our pack's compound. The door swung open, revealing a small, sparsely furnished room. And there, sitting on the edge of the bed, was the woman who had occupied my thoughts.

Her eyes met mine, and for a brief moment, time seemed to stand still. She had an air of defiance about her, even as she sat there, vulnerable and alone. I couldn't help but be drawn to her, curious about the story she carried within her.

Marcus cleared his throat, breaking the spell. "We're here to ensure your safety," he said, his tone businesslike.

She nodded, her gaze flickering between us. "Thank you," she replied, her voice soft but steady.

As the days turned into weeks, my interactions with the Breeder, whose name I learned was Aline, became more frequent. We would exchange brief conversations during my shifts, and I found myself looking forward to those moments. There was something about her that set her apart from the others. She was resilient, determined, and carried herself with a quiet strength that intrigued me.

One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, I found myself standing outside the Breeder's residence. The day's events had been tense, with rumors of unrest growing stronger within the pack. Alpha Harold's decision to acquire Aline had stirred some discontent, and I couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to the story than met the eye.

The door creaked open, and Aline stepped outside. She looked tired, her shoulders slumped from the weight of her situation.

"Long day?" I asked, unable to hide my concern.

She offered a small smile, though it didn't quite reach her eyes. "You could say that."

We fell into an easy silence, the air thick with unspoken words. I wanted to know more about her, about the circumstances that had led her here. But I also sensed that there were things she wasn't ready to share.

As the days passed, Aline's presence continued to linger in my thoughts. I found myself seeking her out, drawn to her strength and resilience. And as I got to know her better, I began to see beyond the facade she presented to the world.

One evening, as we stood outside the Breeder's residence, the tension between us was palpable. I could see the weariness in her eyes, the weight of her burdens pressing down on her.

"You don't have to do this alone," I said, my voice low but sincere.

Aline looked at me, her gaze searching. "What do you mean?"

"You've been through a lot," I continued. "And I know there's more to your story than you've let on. If you ever want to talk, I'm here to listen."

Her expression softened, and for a moment, it was as if a barrier had been lifted between us. "Thank you, Ethan."

The connection between us deepened, a bond forged through shared experiences and unspoken understanding. As we spent more time together, I began to see Aline not just as a Breeder, but as a woman with her own dreams and desires.

And so, as the days turned into weeks, Aline and I embarked on a journey neither of us had anticipated. Our roles within the pack may have been defined by duty and tradition, but our hearts were forging a path of their own, one that would challenge the boundaries of our pack and the expectations placed upon us.

Little did I know that Aline would become more than just the Breeder I was tasked to protect. She would become the catalyst for change, the key to uncovering the truth that had been hidden within the shadows of our pack. And as our connection grew stronger, I knew that our destinies were intertwined in ways neither of us could have imagined.

I began to feel very attracted to her, I felt chemistry in her proximity, I liked her smell a lot and it turned me on.
