CHAPTER 2

Charlie stylishly dragged Nina into the bedroom, and as the night progressed, the chemistry between Charlie and Nina intensified, culminating in a passionate kiss.

Nina stood in the dimly lit bedroom. Her breath hitched as she felt Charlie's hands gently caressing her waist, his lips lingering on her neck. The desire between them was palpable and electric. But just as the passion threatened to consume her, a memory from the past surged through her mind, stopping her in her tracks.

She remembered that Ralph had shared a deeply personal vow with her one night. He had promised that he would wait until their wedding night to engage in any physical intimacy. It was a promise they had both made to honour their values and commitment to each other.

In that fleeting moment of vulnerability, as Charlie's hands started to unbutton her shirt, the memory of Ralph's words echoed in her ears. She gasped, freezing in her place, a mix of confusion and guilt clouding her thoughts.

Charlie sensed the sudden change in Nina's demeanour, his hands stilling on her waist. "Nina, what's wrong? Did I do something?"

Nina's voice trembled as she struggled to find the right words. "Ralph, I... I can't. I can't go any further."

Charlie's brows furrowed in concern, his hands falling away. "Is everything alright? Did I push you too far?"

"Ralph," she whispered, her voice laced with a mix of affection and trepidation.

Charlie looked at her, his eyes searching for the meaning behind her words. "What is it, my love?" he asked, his voice filled with curiosity as he tried so much to mimic Ralph.

Nina took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts. "I want to remind you of the vow we made," she began, her voice quivering slightly. "We promised to wait until our wedding night to share our most intimate moments when we are officially bound as husband and wife." Nina and Ralph's wedding was to take place in just two months, and they both looked forward to the day.

Charlie's brow furrowed, and he let out a sigh. He had felt the growing tension within himself, the fire that burned deep inside, making it harder for him to resist his desires. "Nina, I understand the vow we made," he replied, his voice tinged with frustration. "But it's been so long, and I can't help but crave you every second of every day."

Charlie said as he pulled Nina closer to him. He looked into her eyes, his gaze filled with a mix of love and longing. Nina could feel the intensity of his desire, and she too felt a familiar ache building within her.

"Ralph," she whispered, her voice laced with anticipation, "I want you too."

Charlie's heart skipped a beat at her words. He had been yearning for this moment to defile his brother's girlfriend.

"Nina," he said softly, his voice filled with tenderness. "Are you sure? I want us to be completely open with each other. I want you to feel comfortable and safe." He tried to imitate Ralph.

Nina smiled at his words. She knew Ralph's respect for her boundaries and his unwavering commitment to their relationship. With a reassuring touch on his cheek, she whispered, "Ralph, I trust you completely. I want this too."

Those words were all Charlie needed to hear. The tension in the room grew thicker as they embraced, their bodies moulding together as if they were made for each other. They moved toward the bedroom, their hands exploring each other's bodies, their touches igniting sparks of desire.

As they undressed, their vulnerability became evident. With every caress and every gentle touch, their bodies moved in perfect harmony, each movement a testament to their love and desire. They were completely present at the moment, their minds attuned to each other's pleasure.

The room was filled with whispers, gasps, and moans, a symphony of pleasure and ecstasy. They lost track of time as their love transcended the physical, reaching a place where words could no longer express the depth of their connection.

In the aftermath, as they lay intertwined, Charlie and Nina basked in the afterglow of their love. Their bodies glistened with sweat, and their breathing slowly returned to normal. Their eyes met, and a profound sense of fulfilment washed over them.

Very early the next morning, Charlie stood up from the bed, while Nina was still very fast asleep. He picked up his shirt and tapped Nina. "Nina," he said, his voice filled with gratitude. "Thank you for being so patient and understanding. This was everything I had hoped for and more. I'll like to leave now." He said this as he stormed out of the room. Nina, who was half awake, drew the blanket over herself as soon as Charlie left and fell back to sleep.

As the soft rays of sunlight crept through the curtains, Nina slowly stirred from her sleep. Stretching her arms and yawning, she glanced at the clock on her nightstand. It was early, but there was something that caught her attention—an unfamiliar sound. Her phone emitted a soft chime, indicating a new message.

Curiosity piqued, and she picked up her phone and unlocked it. The screen displayed a message. This time, it was Charlie's phone number. Her heart skipped a beat as she read the words that appeared before her eyes: "I really enjoyed the experience last night. Ralph is so lucky to have you. You're so sweet. From Charlie."

Confusion and disbelief washed over Nina like a tidal wave. She read the message again, her mind trying to process its meaning. How could this be? Had she misread it? But the words were unmistakable, leaving no room for misinterpretation.

Her thoughts raced, and her emotions were in turmoil. She couldn't fathom what had just transpired. "What?! Could she have just been intimate with Ralph's brother, Charlie? This is unbelievable!" She thought as she sat straight on her bed. How could Charlie have deceived her? She knew Charlie to be cunning and crooked, but she never expected him to go to this length. "Oh no, I'm finished!" Nina said as she burst into tears.
