“I wish we stayed in your room” Lilac minded linked us. “Agree,” Colin said. “I agree with them, because why are they here” Layla asked. “I don’t know, but I am going to find out why. I agree with my friends I so wish I stayed in bed today. Because the people in the living room are our mates, and what looked like their families. And then my family was there with my friend's parents and then also people who are blood related to me but I won’t ever call my family.

I was shocked and I was sure my friends were also. We heard laughter. “So that is why your mother wanted me to talk to you,” my father said. “Morning Dad, and yeah I guess” I replied. Then looked around the room and saw them looking displeased with what I was wearing. I then looked back at my dad. “So why are they here” I spat out. I saw confused faces and my father also had one. “Because they are yours and our mates,” Shaun said. Just then my mother came back, put the drinks on the table and sat at my father’s side.

“No not our mate and their family, I mean them,” I said while pointing to the people who are blood related but not family. “Watch your tone, we are guests,” my uncle said. “And because we can” my aunt added. I burst out laughing. “You are not guests here, you think you can own everything and because this is not your house it is the pack house, so show some respect to your alpha and your luna and stop trying to be alpha and luna,” I said to them. This enraged them.

“You little brat…” my uncle started. “Watch what you say to my daughter Dean, I will not let you disrespect her,” my father said calmly. We are here to greet the Alpha King and Luna” my cousin said. I shook my head. I looked at my mother and she nodded her head. I walked to the kitchen and sat on the countertop. The rest of my friends sat around me. “Why do they want to meet the Alpha King and Luna” Lilac asked. “I don’t know, but whenever they want to meet somebody high up it can’t be good” Al said and everybody nodded their heads.

“Yeah and now our mates have seen us and our parents know that they are our mates so we can’t use that excuse to get out of here anymore, because…” Rei said and Sammy completed his sentence “Because they know that they are your mates.” “Maybe we can still sneak out of here for a few days, and go some…” Isa started.

“Well you guys might want to keep that information to yourselves,” someone said interrupting us. We all whipped our heads to the kitchen door and saw that my brothers and our mates stood there.

Me and Dash talked a little more in my room and just as he was about to leave for his own room, there was a knock on my door. “Come in,” I said. River, Lincoln, and Damian then came into my room. They all walked to where were seated and sat down on the empty seats. “What brings you guys here so late,” Dash asked them. "So maybe you guys can help these two over here," said River in a nonchalant way.

Well, we don't expect much from him because that is just who he is and the way he says things. He doesn’t talk much or if he talks it is usually without any emotion, but when he shows emotion, you know he is serious. "Why, is something wrong or did something happen" I asked them, while looking between all of them. “No nothing happened,” River said. "It is just that they are afraid because they found another mate," he said while smirking.

"Am not, and you also have another mate," said Lincoln. "Yeah well, I am not afraid to have another mate because we all could sense how many we would have so we knew" he replied, and he was right, but it is still scary if you think about it, we know how many mates we will have, but actually meeting them, that is what is scary.

"Well how would you feel if you get another alpha mate" asked Damian. "O man, now I understand," said Dash. Yeah I agree with Dash, we can sense how many mates we will have and their gender, and then you will also know if you will be the dominant or not, but another alpha getting another alpha mate, that is scary because some alphas don’t like giving up control and some have no issue with it.

“Yeah I understand, but it doesn’t help to worry about it now, all we can do is just hope that he will be fine with it,” I said to Damien. "I mean he can't be more dominant than you, but definitely more dominant than Mike, so if you think about it, it means you have double the mates to love," Dash said to him.

"And Lincoln, you guys finally got you submissive that you guys wanted even though it took about two tries for you, but now you can finally love and dote on him," I said to Lincoln. "Now that you put it that way we sound stupid for worrying" they both replied. “Hey it is not stupid to worry about that, I mean this one is still wondering if he is good enough for his mate,” Dash said. “Well now that’s not so bad anymore,” Lincoln said. Dash started to laugh and after a few minutes, we all joined him. "If I know anything about my cousin's friends, it is that they are just as crazy as her maybe even a little less," he said.

"Just remember one thing, they are not going to be normal dominant and submissive," he said. "Why do you say that" I asked. "You will see tomorrow" he replied. We all look at each other, confused by what he just said but leave it at that. After that we talked a bit more then we each went to our own rooms to sleep.

The next morning when I woke at 5, my wolf was so excited to meet his mate that he couldn't sit still. "Calm down Lucan," I said to him. "We are meeting our mate for the first time I can't" he replied.
