Sky pov

"What is the dress code," asked Lilac. Because if there is one thing my friends know about me is that I hate to wear dres..." Formal wear so dresses and suits shopping for everyone tomorrow" my mother said. And there it is, the thing I hate the most, formal wear. I will not go, and I won’t go shopping either. That is not going to work for me. "Then I am not going, you guys know I hate wearing dresses," I said to my parents.

"Sky, you will go and there is no if’s or but’s" my father ordered me. That is when I know my father is serious, and that I can’t say no." Fine, when are we leaving" I asked my father? "Tomorrow morning" he replied. I nodded my head. “Okay one more thing guys,” my mother said to us.

"We have to ask,” said my father. "We will be with Sky until we get home, and we will protect her at the ball," my older siblings said. My parents laughed. "We think her friends got that covered but we just wanted to ask you to just keep an extra eye on her," my mom said. “Yes Mom, we will always do that,” Kia said. Everyone nodded their heads in agreement.

“Okay let’s go eat dinner, are you guys joining us,” my mother asked my friends. “Yes, if we can Luna” Lilac answered for all of them. “Of course, you guys are always welcome, and I told you that it is not necessary to call me Luna” my mother replied to her. We then all went to the dining room where we quickly helped my mom set the table and get the food out onto the table.

“Okay, thank you guys, let’s eat. My mother made pasta and mince. “This is so good Aunty Silvia” Rei moaned when he took a bite. “I agree Mom,” Shaun said. Everyone else nodded their heads in agreement. “Thank you, guys,” my mother replied. My father then kissed her cheek. After that, we ate and talked about anything that came to mind. After we ate dinner, everyone went to their separate rooms to get a good night’s sleep.

“Good night, Aunty Silvia and Uncle Jason,” Sammy said. “Thank you for the food,” Al said. “Thank you for having us,” Colin said. “Night you guys, see you tomorrow early for the dress and suit shopping,” my mother said. “Night guys,” I said. “Night” Shaun yawned. “Night everyone,” Lilac said. I then waved goodbye and walked towards the pack house.

My friends went back to their rooms in the pack house to get some sleep for tomorrow. I went to my room and went to the bathroom. I showered and got dressed in my oversized hoodie. My hair went into a long braid. I then went to lie down in my bed. Well, now I know what we will do tomorrow.

Shopping, great. That’s why we need all the sleep we can get, because when you go shopping with my mother and sisters, you don’t just go to one store and take the first dress you find, you try different dresses and try them on and then everyone tells their opinion about it. I love my family and friends, but I hate shopping for dresses and shoes.

But I guess I have no choice since my father ordered me. I just hope that if I find my mate at the ball I can accept them and that they can accept me for who I am and not try and change me. “Don’t worry about that” Layla said in my mind. “I know, I am just so scared” I replied to her.

“I am scared that if I give my heart to him that if it breaks this time, I don’t know if I can fix it, I am scared to love again, I am scared that he won’t accept me for who I am,” I said to her. “I know I am also scared but we need to trust in our mate,” she said.

“We need to trust that our mate will be the right one for us and that he will accept us for who we are, and if he doesn’t, well too bad, we are not changing anything about us to please him,” she said with sass. I laugh. “Okay you are right, let’s just face it when it comes” I replied. She nodded her head. After a few more minutes I fell asleep.

Wenner pov

I woke up before my alarm went off, which is no surprise to me. I stood up and I turned off the alarm before I went to the bathroom. It is about half past 5. I usually wake up between 5 o’clock and half past 5, because I usually go to the gym before breakfast and before I start my day. When I got to my bathroom, I set the shower on hot.

After a few seconds, I climbed into the shower and showered. After my shower, I did my bathroom routine which is brushing my teeth and combing my hair. I then walked towards my closet. I changed into my gym clothes. I put on a black tank top with some black sweatpants and my black and white running shoes.

After I changed into my clothes, I walked downstairs to the kitchen to get a snack bar for a quick snack and a water bottle out of the fridge before I walked to the gym in the pack house. We keep a lot of bottles with water in the fridge for everyone to use and if we drank the water, we put the bottle in the dishwasher to wash the bottle to use it again.

We also keep a few different kinds of snacks in the cupboards for the wolves that just want a snack. We have different kinds of chips, sweets, and snack bars. When I arrived at the gym I started on the treadmill. My gym routine differs on the day and if I am alone or with my pack mates or my friends. After about an hour I finished, I drank some water and then I looked at the time and saw that it was about 7 o’clock.

Breakfast should almost be ready, I thought. I then walked back to the kitchen to get some more water and placed the empty bottle in the dishwasher with the new bottle I took. I grabbed a bottle and walked back to my room. I quickly took a quick shower to get rid of all the sweat. I then changed into my normal clothes, which is black jeans with a white polo shirt.

I then put on my white sneakers. After I finished getting dressed, I walked downstairs, where I knew breakfast would be ready. I entered the packed dining room and saw that my friends were already there. “Good morning, guys,” I said when I sat down with my food. “Hey, Wenner” Dash greeted. “Hey man” greeted Lincoln. “Hey,” the rest also greeted and waved their hands.

We all finished our breakfast. “Okay we need to go and get the last things ready for the ball the weekend,” I said. The boys nodded their heads. “Okay you guys go do that, me, Mekay, Mike, Ace, Holden, Harper, Willow, Vitoria and Hazel need to go help Mom,” Mia said. “Okay see you guys later,” I said. “Yeah,” she replied. The mates kissed their mates goodbye, and they went to go and help my mother.

The rest of us went to my office where we made sure everything was ready for the ball things weekend. When we were sure everything was ready, we sat on the couches and just talked to each other. Let me introduce myself.
