17. Seize the Angel

"Jack- you here?"

"We meet again, Beauty." Jack Wild smiled sweetly.

Angel still looked gawking in disbelief, until suddenly her body was shifted by the three girls earlier.

"Hi, are you a freshman?" The blonde girl stretched out a hand towards Jack. "Meet me Nathalie."

"I'm Ellie."

"And I'm Samantha."

Jack didn't seem to see the hands of the three girls stretching towards him, he even ignored their sweet smiles. He preferred to walk closer to Angel with a smile as cute as possible.

"You are not pleased to meet me?" he asked again.

"Ah that's not it," Angel seemed to smile awkwardly, "I...just too surprised."

"I came here because I wanted to get to know you better, Angel."

Angel's eyes widened rapidly. "You- know my name?"

Jack smiled sweetly, one hand stretched out to caress the girl's cheek. "I know all about you, Angel."

"Who is Angel anyway?" cried Nathalie with an annoyed face.

Jack turned around, even deliberately put an arm around Angel's shoulder tenderly. "Angel is a special girl."

Those words instantly made the girls gasp in shock, all of them gaping their mouths wide open.

"You're not wrong? She's just a girl who is not famous here," said Samantha as if she didn't accept Jack's statement.

"To me," Jack turned to Angel with a fixed gaze, "Angel is very special."

"You are too handsome for an ordinary girl like him," said Nathalie with her arms folded across her chest. "You'd better be with us."

"You are not comparable to Angel," Jack replied with a crooked smile, then pulled Angel's body to walk past them.

"Jack-"

"I just want to chat with you," interrupted Jack with a sweet smile.

Angel took a deep breath. "Okay, we can chat in the canteen."

Finally Angel invited the werewolf to go to the campus canteen. Before ordering, Angel glanced at Jack doubtfully while asking what the man could eat.

Jack chuckled. "I can eat it all, Angel...so don't worry."

"Okay." Angel smiled a little, then ordered two coffees and snacks for them before choosing to sit by the glass.

"It turns out that you are prettier when seen during the day," said Javk with a smile that never left his lips.

"Ah that's not true," Angel seemed to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear with a slight bow, "I'm not that pretty."

Angel raised her eyes again when she received no answer from the man in front of her. "Erm... sorry because I didn't have the chance to say thank you that time."

"And you've said it now."

"That's right," Angel flashed a wider smile, "I really thank you for bringing me back here."

"You're welcome, I'm very happy to help you."

Angel looked closely at Jack's face. He tried to read what the man was thinking but found he couldn't, it was as if a tall fence had barred his abilities.

"I can't stop thinking about you after that night, Angel," Jack said as he held Angel's hand on the table.

"But why?" Angel began to look awkward, but also could not pull his hand.

"I don't know, you seem to have a special charm in my eyes."

Blusshh...

Instantly Angel felt warmth spread across her face, creating a blush there. I don't know if I should be sad or happy when two handsome creatures suddenly admire her.

Even so, Angel felt a significant difference in the attitude between the vampire and the werewolf in front of her. Erick who is always dominant and pushy, while Jack who looks so gentle with a friendly face.

"Ah yes, is that evil vampire still bothering you?"

"Hah?" Angel looked dazed for a moment, and in the next second she could only bite her lower lip doubtfully.

Angel could not answer, because it turned out that he had completely forgotten the message from Jack Wild first. Ironically, his own body always craved a touch from Erick, the man Jack said was the evil vampire king.

"Why? Does Erick still bother you?"

"Who are you calling a bully, huh?!"

"Erick!" Angel immediately got up from the chair when she found Erick already standing behind Jack. He could see the man's angry face, even his eyes had a tinge of red.

In contrast to Jack who still looked relaxed, stood up while turning his body towards the vampire's face. He smiled friendly as usual. "Long time no see, Mr. Erick."

"How dare you appear in front of me," Erick growled with a burning gaze.

"Why? This isn't your world," Jack said in a low voice.

You can see Erick's jaw tightening, with his hands clenched tightly at his sides. The flames of his emotions had already surged up to his head, causing the irises of his eyes to turn red. "You... want to test my patience."

Angel started to look panicked when she saw the changes in Erick, especially when he found that the man's fangs were starting to grow. He immediately approached Erick, cupped the side of Erick's face so he could only look at him.

"Erick, calm down... you can scare everyone here."

"I... will kill that werewolf-"

"Leave it alone, Angel...." Jack suddenly pulled Angel's hand so that the girl staggered towards him. "I've never been afraid to fight against him."

"How dare you touch mine!" Erick snapped loudly, not caring that now everyone in the canteen was staring at them.

"Jack let me go... gosh...." Angel really panicked.

"Calm down, Angel... you'll be safe with me," Jack said, still holding Angel's hand tightly.

Meanwhile, Angel herself was already scared, especially when she saw Erick's body shaking even more as if he was holding back incredible anger. He didn't want everyone to realize who they were, so he had to make a decision quickly.

"I will kill you!" Erick growled loudly, ready to lunge when suddenly Angel blocked his body. Without warning, the girl immediately kissed his lips passionately.

Erick felt even stranger when their bodies were swept away by a fast wind, even though he didn't teleport. Until suddenly the bodies of the two of them were thrown onto the soft surface that was so familiar to him.

"Aaarrkkhh...." Angel screamed when she felt her body land hard. Now his eyes were blinking, darting around to observe where they were at the moment. "This... Erick's house?"

"Yes, and you brought us here."

Angel's eyes started to focus on the man sitting at her side. "I?"

Erick just nodded slowly.

"There's no way I can teleport," Angel denied with a deep frown.

"But in reality, you were the one who did it," Erick replied with a cold face as usual.

Angel was transfixed with her mouth wide open. Earlier, what was on his mind was just wanting to take Erick away from the canteen, so this house came to his mind. But he really didn't know that they would transfer here because of his strength.

"So I can teleport?" Angel muttered in utter astonishment.

"Was that werewolf helping you?" Erick asked back, his jaw still tight.

Angel let out a long breath after being able to master the situation. He moved to sit up, nodded slowly while looking at Erick. "Yes, he helped me."

"Stupid!" Erick snapped loudly. "He will harm you!"

Angel smiled crookedly. "Harmed me? He even helped me?!"

"It's just part of his scheme! He also wants you to be immortal!"

"No," Angel shook her head quickly, even started to get out of bed with her face flushed red, "he was very kind to me, he was never even rude like you!"

"Where are you going?!" Erick snapped when he saw Angel walking to his bedroom door.

Angel's steps stopped for a moment. He looked up with a crooked smile on his lips. "I'm going home, and it looks like what Jack said is true."

"What did he say?!"

"You- just want to slowly destroy me," Angel hissed through his jaw tightening. He stomped again, preparing to leave the big room when suddenly his body was pulled fast, thrown back onto the bed.

"You can't get away from me," growled Erick, who had been pressing on the girl's body, his bright brown eyes were now replaced with bright red irises.

"What would you do?" Angel looked scared. "Are you going to kill me?"

Erick grinned showing his two canine teeth. "Yes, I- will kill you in pleasure."
