5. Half Vampire Human
"Vampire king?" Angel's body froze with all kinds of delusions in her mind. He still hoped that all of this was just a dream from an imagination hidden in his subconscious. He still hoped that he would wake up soon and return to his normal life as usual.
However, a cold touch that greeted his skin brought him back to reality. There was still a pale-skinned woman currently serving him.
"You are very beautiful, Your Majesty... you are very worthy to be our queen."
Angel returned to focusing her gaze on a mirror in front, showing herself wearing an ancient ballgown like the queen of the previous kingdom.
"What should I do now?" he muttered to himself, but it was clear enough for the maid to hear.
"You must have breakfast, Your Majesty...."
"Oh my god..." Angel cupped her face with her hands, feeling so desperate when she didn't know what to do.
"I will bring your breakfast here, or you can join breakfast in the dining room," explained Anne politely.
"Leave me alone," said Angel firmly with another raised face.
"Yes, Your Majesty." Anne bowed respectfully and stepped out of there.
Angel sighed heavily, especially when she felt the tightness that was squeezing her chest at this time. His feelings were really mixed, there was fear, sadness, anger and confusion that were struggling to become one.
"I shouldn't have gone with him," Angel muttered with great regret. "I should have stayed an American virgin."
Slowly the feeling of tightness in Angel's chest had an effect on her eyes which heated up, causing liquid to start hitting her eyelids. He sobbed softly, his shoulders began to shake. Maybe she wasn't as scared as she was confused right now, but it was still torturous.
"Mom, please help me...."
Angel bent over, resting her face on her folded hands on the table. Her tears broke, with tears flowing profusely. "I want to go home... I beg you..."
I don't know how long Angel cried, shedding all kinds of anxiety. He started to feel tired, until his sobbing stopped by itself. Now his eyes were locked on a window in front of him, showing the color of the sky which was quite gray. Slowly, Angel began to rise from the chair, walking towards the closed window.
Angel's eyes moved wildly, staring out the window. As far as the eye could see, he only found meadows bordered by tall, towering trees. I don't know in which city the palace is located, but there is a thin fog that surrounds it.
Angel took a deep breath and turned back towards the bed. He reached for his cell phone, eager to call his mother but too afraid that he couldn't answer the questions he would hear. But, he suddenly thought of Bella, maybe it would be easier for him to tell everything to his best friend.
"Yes, Bella… let's hope she can help me."
Angel started looking for the girl's contacts, preparing to call when suddenly a baritone voice stopped her.
"You must eat."
"Good grief!" Angel tiptoed in surprise, making the phone fall from her grip. He turned around quickly, staring intently at Erick who was walking towards him. "I want to go home!"
"You will come home after marrying me."
"Stop your bullshit!" screamed Angel with her hands tightly clenched at her sides, her face looked bright red.
"Stop being angry and grumbling, now you have to have breakfast," Erick said with an expressionless face, holding out a tray to Angel.
"You guys are vampires, so what can you give me for breakfast?" Angel sneered with a crooked smile, looking reluctantly at a golden hood that lay upside down on a tray.
"You must like it," Erick replied while opening the hood.
Angel frowned deeply, surprised when there was only a gold plated glass on the tray. "What's that?"
"Fresh blood from specially reared white geese with the best nutrition," said Erick.
Instantly Angel felt extraordinary turmoil in her stomach, it felt like someone was stirring it strongly. "You... have gone mad?"
"Try it, you will definitely like it." Erick stretched the glass forward.
"Emmphh... I'm still human!" screamed Angel while covering his mouth tightly.
"You've become one with me, honey. So, part of you has become like us," Erick replied with a sly grin.
"No," Angel shook her head quickly, "that's not true. You're just making it up."
"Okay, we can try."
Angel's eyes widened instantly when she saw Erick drinking the dark red liquid from the glass. The turmoil in his stomach was getting worse, especially when he saw the blood flowing from the corner of Erick's lips at this time.
"Hueek... hueekk...." Angel wanted to vomit, but nothing came out of his mouth. "This is really- empph-"
Suddenly Erick covered his lips with the man's lips. Slowly he felt something enter his mouth through Erick's mouth. I don't know what it was, but Angel felt a sweet taste that was so delicious spreading on her taste buds, she even swallowed it greedily.
Erick let go of his lips, smiling contentedly when he saw Angel enjoying the blood from his mouth. He licked the remaining blood on the corner of the girl's lips, then spoke softly. "Isn't it delicious, honey?"
Angel's body froze, her face looked pale when she realized what happened. He wanted to deny, but the sweet and fresh taste of the blood he drank testified that he had become one of them.
"This... can't be," Angel muttered as she felt the overwhelming fear again.
"Calm down, honey...." Erick stretched out a hand, stroking Angel's half-open lips. "You are still human, it's just that I have kept a bit of my soul in you."
"Huh...." Angel's face looked stiff, slowly her body felt so weak that she couldn't stand just standing. He landed his butt on the edge of the bed, still not understanding with all that happened.
"I'm not you," Angel shook her head weakly with a blank look, "no... I'm a normal human being."
"It's just a dream!" screamed Angel who suddenly slapped his own cheek. "Please wake me up from this nightmare!"
"Angels, stop!" Erick held the girl's hands and sat beside her. "You can't hurt yourself."
"Then take me home!" Angel snapped with his eyes blurry again, slowly his shoulders began to shake.
"Don't cry," Erick said with his thumb starting to wipe the clear liquid that slid down the girl's cheek. "I don't like to see you cry."
"I want to go home..." Angel sobbed while gripping Erick's clothes tightly, "Please take me back to my world."
Eric was silent for a moment. She was a cold, heartless creature, but somehow there was a twinge of pain at the sight of that beautiful face covered in sorrow. "I will take you home."
"You promise?" Angel asked with a hopeful look.
Erick nodded slowly as he cupped both sides of the girl's face, looking at her closely. "But after our wedding rituals tomorrow morning."
