Chapter 7

"Your Highness, Miss Livia is waiting in your study,"the servant's words made Evan frown. But the man immediately entered his study without answering the servant's words.

Soon Evan arrived in his study and saw a beautiful woman in a beautiful dress smiling at her arrival.

"You're here,"said Livia Hazzel, the daughter of the king of the witch kingdom.

"What are you doing here, Livia?"Evan asked as he approached Livia and sat down in front of her.

"Nothing, I just haven't seen you in a while,"Livia smiled.

"You,"Evan hadn't finished speaking, but they were looking at the door to the room that suddenly opened. Just then they saw Crystal enter with Xavier close by.

"Oh my God, Livial, is that you?"Crystal's surprised squeal made Livia chuckle softly.

"Yes my queen, I'm Livia,"Livia said politely, smiling at Crystal.

"It's been a long time since you've been in the human world, and now you've grown into a very beautiful girl,"Crystal praised, making Livia blush.

"Thank you for the compliment, my queen,"Livia said smiling happily.

Evan, who had watched the interaction between Livia and his mother, could only sigh softly. He could only stand silently with his father and listen to the conversation between the two women in front of them.

"How about you stay here?"Crystal said, which made Livia a little surprised. She had never stayed in the Demon Kingdom before. Even though she was friends with Evan, she had never spent the night there.

"But Queen..."Livia said nervously and then looked at Evan. Evan, who saw it coming from Livia, could only raise his eyebrows in surprise.

"Will Lord Evan allow me to spend the night, sir?"she continued as she bowed her head.

"No problem, you can stay the night,"Evan said briefly, bringing a smile to both women's faces.

"Okay, let's get you to your room, sweetie,"Crystal said, getting up from her seat with Livia in tow. Until all that was left in the Evan and his father, Xavier.

Silence. No one spoke from the two men who looked so cold. Xavier was busy with the book in his hand, while Evan leaned back and closed his eyes.

Finally, the sound of knocking on the door forced Evan to open his eyes. Just then he saw Steve enter and bow his head.

"What's wrong?"Evan asked, closing his eyes again.

"I found out why Miss Alissya was hurt, my lord,"Steve said, making Evan open his eyes immediately. Meanwhile, Xavier, who had originally been concentrating on the book in his hand, immediately looked up and looked at Steve.

"Who is Alissya?"Xavier asked with a confused face, because it was the first time he heard that name.

"She's my Eye Dad,"Evan said briefly, making Xavier raise his eyebrows in confusion, he could see the look on Evan's face that looked very forced when he answered his words.

So? Evan asked and looked at Steve who asked the man to continue.

"The wound was caused by a lying wolf she encountered in the woods. When your partner tried to save herself, she felt cornered and finally decided to jump into the ravine,"Steve explained, making Evan and Xavier's bodies instantly tense.

Without Evan realizing it, the mother's man clenched his fists tightly after hearing this.

Without Evan noticing, the man clenched a strong fist after hearing Steve's explanation. Anger began to overcome the man, making the atmosphere in the room tense. Xavier and Steve, seeing Evan's change, immediately tried to calm the man down.

"Did you find this person?!"Evan asked sharply.

"I'm investigating, Your Honor. It's hard to find their group because they move around a lot,"Steve said. "Hurry up and find him and bring him to me!"Evan ordered and stood up.

from his seat and left the room with his jaw set. Steve sighed quietly as he watched Evan disappear behind the door. At that moment, the man's eyes went to Xavier, who was staring at him with a look that was hard to interpret.

"Can you explain this to me in detail, Steve?"Xavier said with emphasis.

"Yes, Your Honor,"Steve said and explained to Xavier everything that had happened,

A few days had passed and Alissya's condition began to improve. The wounds on her hands and feet had disappeared, but not the ones on her back. At least Alissya could move as usual.

Now Alissya stood and looked at Thezza, who was practicing with arrows. More often than not, the girl would announce happily when an arrow Thezza shot hit its target.

"You are very good, Princess,"Alissya said, pumping her fist after Thezza finished practicing her arrows.

"Of course i am. I've been practicing for a dozen years,"Thezza said, making Alissya stare in amazement. "Oh yes, you're going home today?"she continued with a sad face.

Hearing this, Alissya smiled and nodded her head,"it's been too long since i left my mother alone in the princess's house, i have to go back soon,"Alissya said.

Thezza sighed softly. Just now She had a friend in the kingdom, but they had to go their separate ways again.

"Well, i can't stop you from going home. I will cleanse my body and then take you with me,"Thezza said, and was forced into the palace. But the girl's steps were halted when a hand stopped her. She looked up at Alissya who was holding her arm.

"No need, Princess, I'm going home now. I have already said goodbye to His Majesty and the Queen,"Alissya said, making Thezza's face instantly turn sad. At that moment, Thezza immediately hugged Alissya tightly.

"I want you to stay here. You're the only friend I have here. But I can't take you away from your mother. She must miss you very much,"Thezza gave Alissya a small smile.

"Can i still see the princess's palace?"Alissya asked as she released her embrace.

"Of course, i would be very happy if you came to see me often,"Thezza said enthusiastically, making Alissya giggle softly.

They finally walked to the palace gates where a carriage was preparing to take Alissya back to her home. Alissya bowed her head when she saw that Queen Nora and Lord Jackson were also accompanying her home.

"Thank you for helping me and allowing me to stay in the palace for a few days, Your Majesty. I will certainly repay your kindness,"Alissya said with such sincerity that they smiled at the girl's tender heart.

"No need to thank me, child, i already think of you as my daughter. Take good care of yourself. If there is a problem, you can always ask for our help,"Lord Jackson said.
