CHAPTER 2. FORBIDDEN PLACES

The night sky was overcast, accompanied by the rumbling sound of lightning. It didn't take long for the raindrops to start falling, soaking the roads in the pine forest. A woman was struggling to get out of her car. The Audi R8 suffered front-end damage after hitting a tree hard.

After getting out of her car, Sandra ran fast without knowing the direction. I didn't realize I had entered a dark pine forest. Barefoot, she passed through the sharp undergrowth. Fresh blood oozed out of several wounds on her body but was ignored. The most important thing for him at the moment was to save himself from the pursuit of a creature that looked more like a wolf.

Behind the dense and dense trees, a dark forest stretches out. The moonlight penetrates only slightly inside, leaving menacing shadows. In the middle of the forest, Sandra continued to walk on her bloodied feet with her breath coming in gasps, her eyes filled with fear. Her steps sounded halting amongst the silent rumbling of the forest.

The darkness deepened around him, while the sound of horrifying moans drew closer. The tree branches moved lightly in the wind, creating shadows like hands ready to reach out. The woman tried to call for help, but her voice was drowned out in the eerie silence of the forest.

With every gust of wind, the sounds of unknown night animals filled the air, making the atmosphere even more eerie. Sandra's heart was racing while she had to work her way through the invisible The will to survive grew stronger within Sandra. around her. She could feel that the terrifying breath had not stopped hunting him, while his strength had been drained.

"Oh, God. Please save me!" she prayed endlessly to her Creator.

In paralyzing fear, he finally found a bright light in the distance. She was reaching for hope to get out of this forest and get help. The will to survive grew stronger within Sandra.

Her steps stopped at the edge of a steep and dark ravine. It could not escape any further. Meanwhile, the bright light he saw earlier was far across the ravine. Sandra realized the light was unreachable. Now she realized that her escape was over.

Meanwhile, the creature with a large black body had managed to find Sandra's whereabouts. Just a few meters away, the creature stood with saliva flowing out of its mouth past long fangs sticking out. The raindrops had made the dense fur all over the creature's body wet.

"I don't know where you came from and what you are. But don't kill me!" Sandra whined pleadingly in front of a creature that didn't understand human language. However, the woman didn't want to lose the opportunity to survive.

Suddenly, something surprising happened. The sound of laughter boomed in the silence of the night. "Hahaha... It's a pity. I have to kill you. As my master ordered."

Sandra's face tightened with rounded eyes, hearing the horrible creature's words. It's hard to believe that a monstrous creature can speak, just like a human. However, what was even more surprising was that someone wanted him dead.

"Who? Who is your master? Why does he want to kill me?" she stammered. The woman was even more curious about the identity of the person who had sent the evil creature.

"You don't need to know! Because soon you'll be inside this belly of mine!" Then, the creature stepped forward to lunge at Sandra. However, one of his feet tripped, and she lost his balance. Her slender body rolled into the dark abyss.

"Aaaaaa!" A scream echoed through the silent forest. Sandra's body disappeared in an instant, swallowed by the dark abyss. Who knows what will hit the poor woman's body later?

Meanwhile, the creature with dense Black fur has no appetite for chasing Sandra. The creature looked very upset, having lost its dinner. "Damn it, that woman would rather die in a dark abyss than be my food," he ranted. "That woman's body has crumbled to the bottom of the ravine. I don't like eating carrion!"

The creature turned around and left the forest with its human form changed. It has a pair of legs and smooth, hairless hands. The long fangs it had were slowly shrinking, barely even visible. The creature had turned into a handsome man, capable of making women crazy about him.

Meanwhile, at the bottom of the dark ravine lay a river. Sandra's body floated on the surface of the rushing river, leading her to a cursed place. A place that not a single creature can get out of.

"Am I dreaming? Another creature managed to enter this place," said a man in a black robe with a branch in one hand. The man wrinkled his forehead, like he was thinking about something. Then, his head looked up at the bright sky as he said loudly, "Hey, God! What good is this? For you to send me food after hundreds of years of letting me starve in this ugly place!"

The man stared fiercely at the sky and continued speaking. "HEY! GET ME OUT OF THIS DAMNED PLACE! I DON'T NEED YOUR FOOD!" The man shouted several times and stopped because he got no response.

The silver-eyed man crouched beside Sandra, taking in the woman's pitiful state. "I have no appetite for meat that's no longer fresh," she muttered with a look of disgust.

The man scratched his itchy hair, thinking hard. Then, an idea came to the long-haired man, and he rushed to carry Sandra's body on his sturdy shoulders. Then, it moved quickly like a gust of wind splitting the waves. I wonder what made the man in the black robe rush? Then what is Sandra's fate in the hands of a man from another world?
