CHAPTER 5. HIDDEN CAVE SECRETS
Diego stopped before a mysterious cave hidden in the silent forbidden forest. The cave was barely visible as lush trees surrounded it, and the entrance was just a narrow opening between steep, hidden cliffs.
"I never knew there was a cave here," he muttered. Without hesitation, Diego entered the cave, but his steps were soon halted when three creatures emerged from the mouth of the cave.
These creatures looked half-human, half-snake, with human-like upper bodies and snake-like lower bodies. They carried usapons such as long spears and confronted Diego with fierce faces.
"You can't go in! Leave to save your life," one of the creatures said in a sinister voice.
Diego even chuckled at their threats. "Did I hear you wrong? You'll have to get out of my way before I turn you into ashes."
The three demons were furious at Diego's taunts. "Come on, brothers, let's make these werewolves regret challenging us!" one of the green-scaled demons urged his brothers.
Diego was forced to engage in a fight with the three demons. He felt no fear and confidently fought off their attacks as they constantly aimed their spears. Diego nimbly dodged the attacks.
However, these three demons are formidable And can give Diego a tough fight. In addition to their spears, they also use deadly poisons that make Diego have to be more careful.
Sometimes, one creature stopped the attack while the other two attacked simultaneously. Diego found himself in a difficult situation, but he did not give me up.
"Turns out they're pretty tough. I can't let my guard down," Diego thought as he tried to avoid the poison thrown by one of the demons.
One of the black-scaled demons was rendered helpless when Diego managed to rip its neck out. A cry of pain went up, and the demon fell to the ground and was covered in blood. Diego gave the demon's neck a deep and deadly scratch, ending its life.
"BROTHER!" shouted the other two demons, who were angry and mourning the death of their brother.
"You're going to die today, you fucking werewolf!" screamed the demon as he threw his spear at Diego, who dodged so severely that it grazed his shoulder.
The remaining demon immediately used its tail to wrap around Diego's body. Diego was now in a state of distress, unable to move his body. He could feel that his bones would be shattered shortly.
"Damn, this is too strong," Diego thought, almost defeated. Both demons felt they had won.
But Diego didn't give up. Determined, he found a way to free himself from the clutches of the snake demon's tail. Deliberately, he gripped the bottom wrapped around him with his sharp fangs until it weakened.
After freeing himself, Diego counterattacked. He jumped on the back of the remaining demon and, with his sharp claws, cut the creature's neck to death. Now, only one monster remained alive. However, the demon's guts began to shrink after the end his two brothers.
“It's your turn," Diego said, licking his blood-soaked fingernails. This is a typical werewolf ceremony to cleanse themselves.
“You win this time, but I'll come back for revenge!" said the green-scaled demon as it ran away. With the devil out of the way, Diego could continue his journey into the cave.
As Diego stepped deeper, the cave's darkness seemed to embrace him, and the wind rustled softly like an invisible whisper. The walls were covered in mysterious scratches that seemed to have been made by something unknown. Occasionally, Diego could hear a faint rumbling in the distance as if a presence waited in the deep darkness. No light could illuminate any part of the seemingly endless passage.
Inside the cave, Diego found rock formations that resembled scary faces or strange creatures.
The water droplets falling from the cave's roof create a spooky, heart-stopping sound. Every corner of the cave looks like a place where horror stories take place, and the shadows moving in the darkness add to the eerie atmosphere.
There is a strong aura of mystery and fear in this cave, which makes it a creepy place. It's as if the cave holds secrets that must never be revealed.
"I feel a great power in this place," Diego muttered uneasily. But he was determined and didn't want to back down. He continued to explore deeper into the cave until he finally found a place filled with animal skeletons.
The place was well-lit with torches. Diego felt his hope grow when he saw Sandra lying in front of a boulder. He instantly approached the woman while checking her condition. "Sandra, what happened to you?"
Diego looked panicked when he found Sandra in a blue body and smelled poison from the woman's body.
"Sandra, wake up!" Diego shouted again so that the woman could hear him, but Sandra did not respond at all.
Then, the demon who had kidnapped Sandra appeared while saying, "It's useless. You won't be able to make her come back to life. Because she has become an offering to my master, the Snake Demon King."
Diego looked at the demon with blazing eyes. "I'm not going to let that happen, damn demon!" he said as his eyes turned red and his fangs protruded.
"Even if you kill me, it won't change that woman's fate. She will still die," the snake demon said with a horrifying laugh. Diego knew he had to fight to save Sandra, even if it meant facing the immense power in the cave.
