Chapter 3. Go
Christopher is fed up with Jasmin. Was this payback for what he had done to his wife? Isn't there just a little bit of love in his wife's heart that he has the heart to do something like this?
Wasn't what Jasmin did very evil? Because he was fed up, Christopher chose to leave the restaurant. More precisely, he left his wife, who was making out with a man he considered richer than Christopher.
Christopher immediately got back on his wife's bicycle and went somewhere to win his envy. It felt like Christopher wanted to kill both of them. Luckily, the guard restrained him. Christopher guaranteed that if he had been allowed in, he would have hit the man unthinkingly and without mercy.
“You betrayed me, Jasmin!” Christopher said annoyedly. After riding for a few minutes, he stopped at a lake. Yes, Christopher wanted to calm his mind for a moment at this lake. Hold back your emotions so they don't overflow again. But no matter what Christopher does, the thought of the intimacy between his wife and this strange man always angers him.
“Calm yourself, Christopher! There's no point in you killing her," Christopher muttered.
Christopher just stared at the lake in front of his eyes with a blank stare. His head was too busy thinking about what his wife had done earlier. Had his wife gone further with the strange man? Like intimate relations?
Ah! Christopher's head was going to explode imagining that. “My decision is made?” Christopher said.
The man immediately exited his seat and rode back on his wife's bicycle to return home. It was already evening, and the air was getting colder. Christopher is not strong enough to be outside for too long.
After several hours of staying in the lake with a noisy head, he finally decided to leave the house. Yes, he is leaving his wife. Christopher can't do it like this. Can't! He will not be able to hold back someone who wants to go. No matter how hard Christopher tries, if Jasmin wants to escape him, he can't do anything.
When he got home, Christopher immediately went in. He ignored his sister-in-law, who looked at him awkwardly as Christopher passed him. Fuck!
Christopher just walked straight to his room and packed his things. He will leave this house. The decision is final! Christopher took a bag and put some of his valuables in it. But Christopher's activities stopped when he realized Jasmin was now standing before him with her arms crossed.
The woman glanced at Christopher lightly, then threw the sheet of paper in front of Christopher.
“Are you leaving here? I'm happy, but you have to sign the letter," said Jasmin, pointing to the paper she had just thrown.
"What's that?" asked Christopher, continuing to try to control his anger.
Luckily, Christopher was able to control his anger from exploding. If he had been emotional like that, the data confirmed, he would have done something rude to her. Or maybe kill his wife. Ah, is it appropriate for Christopher to welcome Jasmin as his wife again?
“You are not allowed to bring valuables in this house, Christopher! It is mine now,” said Jasmin shamelessly.
What? His? Did Christopher mishear what Jasmin said? Where are that woman's shy veins? How could he say that the things in this house belonged to him?
Christopher laughed lightly as he looked at Jasmin with a look that was difficult to decipher. "How can this be yours?"
“Christopher, did you know? Jasmin has never had a good life with you. And now? Do you want to bring other valuables? Look! How many valuable beavers are there? That alone is not enough for our survival!” Suddenly, Jasmin's mother's voice came to Christopher's ears. And sure enough! She was already standing in the doorway, looking at Christopher in disgust.
“Is this your reply?” asked Christopher, still trying to stay calm.
“What reply do you mean? I want us to divorce! And bring your clothes. The assets here are now mine. Do you hear? Mine!" Jasmin said.
Christopher has had enough! He immediately took the letter that Jasmin gave him and immediately signed it. "Satisfied you?" he asked.
"Sure," answered Jasmin.
Christopher looked at his wife with hostility. After that, he closed the bag containing his clothes and was about to leave. But again and again, his steps had to be stopped because his sister-in-law was blocking his way.
“Are you not carrying anything of value? Here, let me check!” said his sister-in-law.
"What do you mean?" Christopher asked coldly.
Without answering Christopher's words, his sister-in-law just snatched Christopher's bag. She went back to rummaging through Christopher's bag. There aren't any valuables there. But there is a photo that his sister-in-law found. Christopher's sister-in-law looked at Christopher with a crooked smile. The next second, the sound of paper ripping was heard.
“Oops… sorry,” said his sister-in-law.
Christopher stared in disbelief at what he was seeing. His precious photo! The only picture he had was torn up before his eyes.
“Hey! Why are you staring at me like that? Am I not on purpose?" asked his sister-in-law, stirring with a mocking smile.
Christopher was about to raise his hand to teach his sister-in-law a lesson. But Jasmin's voice instructed her.
“Christopher! Hurry up and get out of here. I don't want to see you again, and don't you try to hurt my family!” Jasmin said
“Are you defending her? Who is wrong?” asked Christopher with a disappointed look. Ah! Christopher is already dissatisfied with Jasmin.
"Go ahead. I don't want to see you anymore," Jasmin said.
Christopher immediately left the house without bringing anything. Only the cell phone was still in his pocket. Yes, that's all. At the same time, Jasmin looked pityingly at Christopher. It feels like regret suddenly came. What's more, it's winter. Christopher left without taking anything. Jasmin clenched her fists tightly to hold back the strange turmoil that gave way to her heart.
While Christopher continued to rub his hands, which felt cold, after walking far enough, the man immediately reached into his pocket to call someone.
"Uncle, it's me, Christopher."
“Christopher! Where have you been these three years?” A male voice immediately came from the phone.
"I am divorced," said Christopher.
"Love is not always beautiful, Christopher!"
"Can you pick me up?" Christopher asked.
"Of course! Send your address. I will immediately order people.”
After that, Christopher turned off the phone connection. About fifteen minutes later, there was a car approaching him. A man is the CEO of the place where his wife works. The CEO bowed respectfully to Christopher, after which he opened the door for Christopher.
