Chapter 2

Samantha's Point of View

"Banish her! Banish that woman!" the pack yelled.

I looked around me and saw the eyes of my own pack members filled with hatred and anger. I couldn't stop my tears rolling down my cheeks as I stood there.

"Banishing me doesn't solve anything. You'll regret this someday," I said to them while wiping my tears.

"Go now, Samantha!" Alpha David said sternly.

The pack was in an uproar. I could feel their anger and rage boiling over. I heard their words echoing around me, and the one that hurt the most was Alpha’s command:

“Banish her! Banish that woman!”

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. How could my own pack do this to me? I had given them my loyalty and love, and in return, they were banishing me away. How could they believe the false accusations that Zira had made?

“I did not betray the Alpha. Believe me!” I pleaded, but my words were met with shouts of derision and anger. I looked around me and saw that Zira had manipulated the minds of the pack. She had lied to them, and they had believed her.

“Don’t lie, dear Luna!” a gamma said sternly.

“You aren’t fit to be a Luna!” a woman shouted.

I was overwhelmed with emotion. I wanted to scream and shout, but I knew that it wouldn’t do any good. I wanted to kill Zira for what she had done to me. She had destroyed my whole being and defamed me in my own pack.

“Alpha, I am your Luna. I have given you all my honesty and love. You knew that before,” I said, my voice trembling with emotion. He stared at me, his eyes burning with anger. I didn’t understand why he was so angry.

“You no longer deserve your throne,” he said coldly.

My heart felt like it had been ripped from my chest. I could feel the anger and hatred replacing the love I had felt for him. But I still wanted to make him understand that I hadn’t betrayed him.

“He betrayed me!” I yelled, pushing him away. He only laughed and smirked, enjoying the fact that he had broken my heart.

The pack started yelling again, and I knew that I had no chance of convincing them. I had to leave. I looked around me one last time, my eyes filled with tears. Then I turned around and walked away, the heavy weight of my heart pulling me down. I knew that this was the last time I would be seeing them.

"Do you think they will believe in you?" he asked me in a sarcastic tone.

I could feel the anger in his voice. "Banish her out of this castle!" he ordered.

My heart sank. I can't believe he's going to do this to me. He knew all along that this was going to happen. He wanted to get rid of me. Two guards immediately dragged me out of the room. I was still struggling with their grip on me.

"Let me go!" I shouted.

“I have the right to stay here. I'm still Luna! You promised me, Alpha, so you can't do this to me.” I pleaded.

I looked back at him, hoping that he would know what I was feeling. But he didn't even look at me.

"According to the law, anyone who betrays the beloved Alpha will be punished," said a gamma.

"So throw that woman away!" Zira ordered the guards.

My heart ached and I felt a lump in my throat. I wanted to scream but no sound came out. Tears started to fill my eyes.

"I'll get you back! I'll be back for revenge!" I shouted as they pulled me away.

I knew that I had to find a way to get my revenge. I had to do something to prove that I was still the Luna of Bloody moon pack.

“I will return!” I shouted as I was dragged away from the castle. I vowed to myself that I would get my revenge and make sure that everyone in the pack knew the truth.

The next morning, I woke up in a cozy room and I slowly let go of the tears that had been building up in me. I was confused, scared, and lost but I knew that I was safe here. The tears flowed freely from my eyes. I wanted to scream in rage at the injustice that I had endured. I remembered the betrayal of the Alpha and the banishment of my pack. I felt like I was in a foreign place. I looked around, trying to get my bearings.

Suddenly, I heard a voice near the door. I jumped in surprise and wiped away my tears. I couldn’t make out the man’s face in the dark, so I waited. He stepped into the light and I saw that it was Alpha Rocco Israel, Alpha of the Bloody land pack. He looked just like Alpha David, which made my heart sink.

He noticed my tears and asked me why I was crying. I lied and said I didn’t remember anything. He asked for my name and I told him it was Samantha. He then offered me protection, which I accepted. I was scared and confused, but I knew I had to trust him. I watched as he left the room, and I allowed myself to cry freely. I was alone and lost, but I feel so very safe with him.

"Please accompany me," he spoke gently.

I hesitated to accept his offer and held his hand. However, he persisted and I saw no reason to object.

"Where are we headed?" I asked with curiosity.

Yet, he merely responded with a smile. I was taken aback when he kissed my hand.

"Relax and have faith in me, Sam,” he reassured me with a smile.

How can I trust him when the man I previously placed my trust was betrayed me?

I felt uneasy with him holding my hand. Slowly, I released my grip and he regarded me with seriousness.

"What troubles you?" he asked.

"What does this signify? Where are we going?" I asked, filled with curiosity.

A grand table, adorned with an abundance of food, materialized before us. I felt an overwhelming hunger and immediately approached the table, consumed by panic. All eyes were upon me. I felt immense shame for my actions.

"I apologize," I expressed remorsefully.

"It is alright, simply partake in the meal," he smiled.

"You are clearly famished. Who wouldn't be in the midst of such a desert?" he remarked.

His words caused me to catch my breath. I contemplated asking him who had brought me to this place, but no answer came from him. He simply continued to smile at me.

My astonishment grew as the golden doors of the castle suddenly swung open. My eyes widened at the sight before me.
