Taming him

As the morning sun cast its warm glow upon the room, I couldn't help but feel a surge of irritation rise within me. Alpha Dior's smile, so seemingly innocent, only served to fuel my determination to bring him down. Behind that angelic facade, I knew there was darkness lurking, a darkness that had shattered my world and taken away everything I held dear.

With a smile, he greeted me, "Good morning, Crema."

Returning the smile, I replied, "Good morning to you too, Alpha."

Curiosity getting the better of me, I asked with a smile, "I think you were mad at me for rejecting you, Alpha?"

Maintaining his smile, he responded, "Despite your rejection of me as your mate, I am still willing to wait until you are ready to be my Luna."

His tone turned serious as he said, "Elias told me everything. They found you alone in the middle of the forest and I know what happened to your family was not easy, Ana."

Suddenly, his words ignited a fire within me. How could he appear so innocent? How could he not remember the pain he caused my family? Why was there no trace of remorse?

Unable to contain my frustration, I exclaimed to myself, "You're so good at pretending, Alpha!"

In that moment, I yearned to end his life right then and there. I wanted him to experience the same suffering and anguish that I had endured. His sweet smile may be deceiving, but it couldn't cloud my judgment.

"You're right, life has not been easy for me. Losing a family is not easy, so I will not rest until they are given justice!" I declared emphatically.

With a smile, he replied, "Just tell me if I can help, Ana. As your mate, I have a responsibility to protect and love you."

His words left a bittersweet taste in my mouth. I approached him, my lips inching closer, tempting him.

"Let's see if you can change my mind," I seductively whispered, before swiftly pulling away. I flashed him a sweet smile and entered the room.

"I'll eat first, Alpha," I said, still smiling.

"Um, can I ask you out after you eat?" he invited.

"Alright, Alpha," I replied, my smile unwavering.

"I'll wait for you outside," he said, his smile never fading.

As he left, content with my response, I couldn't help but smirk at the thought of his seemingly soft heart for a woman.

After nourishing my body with a satisfying meal, I indulged in a refreshing shower, allowing the warm water to cascade over me. Once I was cleansed and rejuvenated, I carefully selected an outfit that exuded confidence and allure. Standing before the mirror, I meticulously examined every aspect of my appearance, ensuring that I presented myself in the most captivating way possible. My desire was to captivate him, to ignite a flame of attraction that would be impossible to resist.

With a mischievous grin, I stepped out of the room and ventured towards the outside world, the grand castle serving as my backdrop. As I made my way, my heart quickened its pace, anticipation coursing through my veins. And then, there he was, Alpha Ashton, standing in the distance. Taking a deep breath, I summoned the courage to approach him, my steps purposeful and confident.

"I have arrived," I announced, a genuine smile gracing my lips. "Please forgive any delay."

His response was measured, his words few. Yet, his gaze held a weightiness that made my stomach flutter with nerves. The space between us diminished, mere centimeters separating our beings. In those moments, I struggled to articulate the whirlwind of emotions swirling within me. My eyes, seemingly independent from my control, began to close, instinctively yearning for the touch of his lips. However, what transpired next caught me completely off guard.

He kissed my forehead, his lips lingering on my skin, and a smile played on his face. In that moment, I couldn't believe what he had just done. It was a gesture of such tenderness, a display of his deep respect for me. Our eyes locked, and we stared at each other, the intensity of our connection palpable. But as the seconds ticked by, I felt a sudden urge to break away, to avert my gaze from him.

"When I first laid eyes on you, I knew in my heart that you were the one I had been waiting for," he whispered, his voice filled with a mixture of longing and certainty. "You are my mate, the one I have yearned for, for decades, Ana,”

His words hung in the air, and I couldn't help but be moved by the sincerity in his voice. I mustered the courage to ask him a question that had been weighing on my mind. "How long can you wait for me, Alpha Ash?" I asked, my voice gentle and filled with curiosity.

His response was immediate, his eyes never leaving mine. "Until the last day of my life, Ana," he replied, his words carrying a depth of devotion that sent shivers down my spine.

But as his words settled in my mind, a voice inside me whispered a bitter truth. "You're right," I thought, my heart heavy with realization. "Your death is approaching. You can't wait for me anymore."

In a sudden surge of conflicting emotions, I found myself leaning in, my lips meeting his in a passionate kiss. It was a desperate act, a way to test his true nature, to see if he was the demon I feared. I wanted to uncover the darkness that lay beneath his charming facade, to expose his true intentions. My anger burned within me, refusing to be extinguished, as I pressed my lips firmly against his.

"This is what you want, isn't it?!" I demanded, my voice filled with a mix of defiance and vulnerability.

He pushed me away gently, surprise etched on his face. "What are you thinking? Do you believe that's all I desire from you?" he asked, his tone serious and sincere.

His words struck me like a lightning bolt, leaving me stunned and breathless. Tears welled up in my eyes, and I couldn't hold them back any longer. I realized that I had let my emotions get the better of me, allowing my anger to cloud.
