Chapter 2
In the middle of the night, a man was burning Ayzel's large portrait.
"Boss, it is one thousand and three hundred ninety-ninth frame of her, you have been burning for the last four years," Osama commented from behind his back. A deep scar was running from his left eyebrow to the outer edge of his eye. That scar was not present on his face earlier.
"Can't burn her directly, so it is the only option," Zain replied.
For five years only he knew how he was controlling the rage inside him. The volcanos of destruction erupted inside him, every day.
But now he was done burning himself. Now it's time to burn the real culprit behind this state of his pain. His heart already turned into coal. Nothing was left inside him to be burned anymore.
"But the good news is that it is the last frame of her I am burning. Because From tomorrow she will burn in my fire of revenge." A sadistic smile appeared on his face and a burning image could be shown in his eyes.
Zain Skidner, once again the biggest mafia lord has returned with much more power, ruthlessness, evilness, and mercilessness. All his these attributes were ready to blast on a single soul, Ayzel.
Ayzel woke up with the call of the morning prayer. After prayer, she was reciting verses of the Holy Quran to calm her heart.
" Faa Inn maal usri yusrann, Inna mal usri yusran"
(indeed after Harshhip is ease. After Hardship is ease).
Today her heart was feeling unfathomable anxiety. After finishing it, she was a bit calm.
Then she took out a small photo frame. A photo frame of his Zain. She adoringly kissed it and traced her finger on it.
"Please Zain, come now. I am burning here in your wait. Whatever you do with me, I will endure it. There is already so much pain inside me, replace it with the pain of your revenge. You are the peace of my soul. The pain given by you will provide peace to my heart." She wiped her falling tears, only to generate a new set of tears.
"Do you know, when you were gone from life, darkness nestled around me? Moonlight stopped visiting my heart and life. In you wait, my eyes turned hollow and empty. The dreams you decorated in my eyes are now burned there. I have been burning in a nightmare. Please just come now." She was sobbing slightly.
"Mama!" the sleepy voice of her daughter startled her. She immediately hid the picture.
Her fairy went to her lap with her teddy bear. It was the same teddy, that Burhan gifted him. It was in a worn-out condition. Its one eye was replaced by a button and had stitches in many places. But it was dear to her and her daughter.
"Mama, I am hungry. Mr. Bear as well." She complained.
"So, who told you not to eat meals properly? Huh? It had to happen for sure." She scolded her with fake anger. Farheen had very little appetite from the beginning and feeding her was one of the difficult tasks.
"Now, wait here. Mama will bring something for you." She cooed her and kissed her face.
A piece of bread with jam was enough for her. After eating it, Farheen slept on her mother's lap, shaking her heart with one question.
"Mama, when will Papa come?"
Never. Her father will never come.
If Arham asked this question, she would have replied. But in the case of Farheen, she never discussed it. Even she never showed her Zain's picture. She wanted to remove the existence of the word father from Farheen's life. Because she would never have him.
Soon Sun started to rise. Saliha and She started to get ready for work.
Ayzel was giving daily instruction to the kids.
"No door opening for anyone. Fairy no naughty act. Arham take care of your sister, and fairy be a good sister to your brother, okay ?"
The kids nodded.
"Mama don't bring chocolate for me today." Farheen's demand surprised her.
"And why so, my little one?" She asked her.
"Today, I will put money in my prince's bank. You know na, I have to collect money for the trip to Disneyland." She said like a smart lady.
Ayzel gave a rueful smile at the innocent wish of her daughter. In twenty-seven years of life, her mother could not fulfill this wish. How this little girl would do that? How long her children would sacrifice their one tiny wish for the fulfillment of another wish?
She crouched down to her level.
"Maybe Mama will get a double bonus today, and we can buy chocolate as well as save money for your Barbie bank?" she said in mysterious astonishment, poking Farheen's nose.
"And always remember one thing, Mama's Disney land is you. Because you are my fairy and you are my princess." Ayzel said cupping her daughter's little and cute face.
The little girl beamed in joy. The wave of happiness passed through her oceanic blue eyes. After hugging the kids, both ladies went to work.
"You watch cartoons, until then I wash the plates." He gave a tablet to her little sister.
Arham washed the plates and cups of breakfast. He always did this, after being mature. Then both kids with their tiny hands, arranged the beds.
They were aware of the fact that their mother and aunt were working hard outside to provide for them. So inside the house, the kids tried to lessen their burden.
"Arham!" Farheen innocently asked her brother with an adorable face. He understood she must have a demand.
"Can I see Papa's photo, again?" she would cry any moment if Arham denied her. Ayzel had forbidden him to share anything regarding his father, with Farheen.
But her cute face always melted his tiny heart. He never went against her mother's command, except this one.
He knew where her mother kept his father's photo. So, like always he stole it and showed it to Farheen.
The little girl kissed the photo, missing her dad. And then returned the photo.
It was the little secret between the siblings.
"Take care!" Saliha said to Ayzel while dropping her at the restaurant.
She wished her the same.
It was Saturday night, so the workload was more than usual. Ayzel was tired till her last breath. Finally, midnight came and her freedom came. After packing up everything, it was 12:45 a.m. Kids and Saliha must be worried about her.
The roads were almost empty. She decided to hire a ride but then gave up on the idea to save money.
She was walking along the side when she encountered a group of vulgar boys on the corner of the road. She decided to change the route. But she was having an ominous feeling that someone was following her. She fastened her steps. From her peripheral view, she saw the presence of two persons. She started to run.
She halted in her steps when a car was, parked in the middle of the road, blocking the path. A man was leaning on the door of the car. He was dressed in black from head to toe. His face was covered in the black cap of the hoodie.
How could be that person?
She was getting breathless. She took two steps back. She was about to turn back when that man removed the cap and revealed his face.
His face was everything to stop her in her tracks.
Now she could breathe.
A beautiful smile crept on her face.
Her lost dream had returned.
With slow steps, she moved towards him.
But it surprised him. She was supposed to run away in fear from him. But she was gladly moving towards her predator.
She was ready to be hunted by him.
They were seeing each other after five years and a few months. Time had a negative change on her attire but he seemed to be unaffected. Just his face was more emotionless and stone-hard.
Now she was standing closer to him. She leaned more toward her, to feel his breath on her face. She wanted to confirm his presence. She wanted to know whether she was dreaming or not.
She raised her hand to touch his face.
Before she could have that blessing, a sedative was harshly injected into her neck by his new tormentor.
The first few seconds were unbelievable for her. She collapsed on the road with a large thud. He did not make any effort to prevent her fall.
As wanted the same.
He ignited a cigar. A habit he gave up five years ago for her sake.
"Pick her up and throw her in the basement of the warehouse!" he ordered his men.
The two men came forward and picked her up from arms and put her in the back of the automobile. He did not want to touch her at all.
His culprit was in it's right place. Now he needed to bring back his son to his right place. But another surprise was waiting for him.
