Chapter 2

Five years later, at the Langley Group.

Martin sat in the conference room, his brows furrowed, and his eyes cold, exuding an air of indifference.

"Still haven't tracked him down?" His face grew increasingly grim.

Everyone was instantly drenched in cold sweat.

Suddenly, a young man wearing glasses exclaimed excitedly, "Mr. Langley, we've found him! We've found him..."

Martin immediately stood up and walked over.

The computer screen suddenly showed a few words.

"Can't catch me, loser!"

A surge of murderous intent instantly flashed across Martin's face.

He cursed in his heart, 'How dare he! Broke our firewall, hacked into our most important internal files, and tricked me over and over again.

'Damn it! If I catch him, I'll definitely skin him alive.'

Suddenly, Alan's computer beeped.

He stood up excitedly, saying, "Mr. Langley, we've tracked him down. He's now at Sunset Bay International Airport."

Martin narrowed his eyes and decisively ordered, "Go to the airport now, keep a close watch on his movements, and keep me informed."

With that, he, Alan, and a few bodyguards drove to the airport.

Looked like Martin was determined to catch that hacker today.

Meanwhile, in the VIP lounge at Sunset Bay International Airport.

Two beautiful and dainty children sat side by side on a chair.

Charles Watson had a small laptop on his lap. With a wicked smile on his lips, he gently pressed the enter key, sending another virus to Martin's computer.

Fannie Watson felt a twinge of guilt as she watched this.

"Charles, I don't think it's a good idea. I mean, he's our daddy. We can't hack into his company just to make money, can we?"

Charles' pretty little face scrunched up.

"He's not our daddy. He's a scumbag. He abandoned Mommy and us, remember?"

"But..." Fannie was still hesitant.

She had heard that Martin was very formidable, and she was afraid of being caught by him.

Charles retorted, "But what? I won't feel sorry anyway. Have you forgotten how he treated our mommy? I'm just taking back what she deserves."

When Fannie heard this, all of her concerns vanished.

She said, "You're right. This is his punishment!"

After successfully sending the virus, Charles put the laptop back in his backpack.

At that moment, Patricia came out of the restroom. "Your godmother has arrived. Let's hurry out!"

Letting Fannie sit on the suitcase, Patricia dragged it with her left hand, held Charles' hand with her right, and walked out of the lounge.

Just as they reached the door, a commotion erupted ahead.

Immediately after, Martin strode over, surrounded by his entourage.

He was dressed in a formal black suit paired with a gray shirt, exuding an air of nobility and mystery that made him quite noticeable.

Patricia hadn't expected to encounter Martin right after getting off the plane, and her breath caught in her throat.

Memories of past grievances flashed through her mind.

Even though five years had passed, she would still feel hatred whenever she thought of Martin's cruelty.

Fannie, seeing Martin, covered her mouth in fear. "Oh no, Charles, that scumbag is here. He found us?"

Charles smiled slightly, "Well, the Langley Group has many top experts working there. In just a few moments, they managed to track us down. Not bad, actually."

Fannie's heart pounded wildly. "What should we do now? Will we get caught?"

Charles glanced up at Patricia, who was staring at Martin in a daze. Calmly, he took out three baseball caps and masks from the suitcase and gently tugged on Patricia's clothes.

"Mommy! Mommy, put on the hat and mask now. Don't let that scumbag recognize you," he said.

Snapping back to reality, Patricia hurriedly put the cap and mask on. Then, she lowered her head and tried to walk past Martin as calmly as possible.

As they brushed past each other, Martin, as if by some telepathic connection, instinctively looked at Patricia. Seeing that familiar figure, he was a little stunned. When he was about to chase after her, Alan suddenly said, "Boss, the signal is gone."

Martin paused in his steps. "Again?"

Alan lowered his head in shame. "We could track him two minutes ago. But now it's gone."

Martin asked coldly with an angry face, "Can you find out his last known location?"

Alan felt even more embarrassed. "Sorry, we can't. He's very cautious."

Martin was furious, clenching his fists tightly. Feeling Martin's wrath, Alan continued to report, "Just twenty minutes ago, another virus hit the company system, causing us nearly 30 million in losses."

As his words fell, everyone suddenly kept quiet out of fear.

Suddenly, Alan's phone rang. He hurriedly answered it, and then his expression changed dramatically. "Boss, the nurse just called and said Randy is missing."

He knew if anything happened to Randy Langley, what awaited them would be Martin's endless fury!

"What?" Martin glared as he shouted angrily. "You can't even take care of a child? What else can you do? Go find him now!"

"Yes!" Alan left hurriedly with the bodyguards.

Before leaving, Martin took a deep look in the direction Patricia had gone, wondering, 'That woman looks so much like Patricia. Has she come back?'
