Chapter 2 Prince Rhaegar
Nalya
I was throwing up on the floor just seeing his length. It disgusted me. He sickened me. Arlon pulled me up and threw me on the bed. I thought that was it. He would find out I lied about my cycle and either beat me to death or rape me violently. My heart was racing in my chest as tears welled down my face.
He growled so loudly in my face, and his canines elongated. I closed my eyes as my body shook. He grabbed my wrists and pinned them over my head.
"Please leave me alone," I cried. My voice a whisper.
"Why are you so stubborn?" he was frustrated. Arlon made me face him and, with one hand, gripped my cheeks.
"Your father owed me, and you're my price. You will stay with me until I decide I don't need you anyone. Am I clear?" he asked. When I didn't answer, he slapped me.
"Am I clear?" his voice was chilling and dangerous. I nodded a yes, and he got off me.
"Good," he patted my head like a dog.
"Now, give me a massage. I want to rest. That Alpha Prince was hard to deal with today, and now, he's in my town," he sighed. He lay on the bed, and I gave him a massage with the oils. My hands were tired and sore. He couldn't stop complaining about the visiting werewolf Prince. Even though we were rogues, we needed to be on good terms with pack Alphas and werewolves, especially now that Arlon wanted to make this an official pack.
He finally passed out, and I got off him to go to the shower. I wore my robe after the cold shower I took and stood by the balcony, watching the dark forest as I did every night. A midnight-furred wolf caught my eyes. It was the tallest wolf I've ever seen. Not even Arlon's was like that! The wolf with electric blue eyes was looking at me intently. I saw recognition in his gaze, but he ran back into the forest, leaving me standing there and my heart beating wildly.
...
"Hey, wake up, wake up!" I heard the harsh voice of my sister.
"I'm up," I rubbed my face. I was still groggy when my stepmother poured water on my face.
"Aunt, why did you do that?!" I cried. The woman only glared at me. Mary hated me since I was a child because my mom was my father's mistress who abandoned me with them.
"The Alpha rogue wants us to help you get ready. He has important visitors and would like to show a united front, a team capable of leading a pack once given a seat at the Alpha council," she said. So, it was true. We'd all soon be a pack?
"Don't even dare start crying and smile. Alpha Prince Rhaegar is too important and has the last say," she warned harshly.
She dragged me to the bathroom, "I can walk by myself," I hissed, pulling away from my stepmother's rough grip.
I got into the tub and slowly washed my body. After the bath, they put me in a blue plunge cut-out dress and pulled my hair into a tight bun, leaving some of it falling out. We went downstairs.
"Stop doing that," Kaley spat, slapping my hand.
"This dress is too short for me," I whimpered.
"No, it's just right. Arlon wants you to be your most sexy. One thing he has over Alpha Prince Rhaegar will be a beautiful Luna," Kaley smiled grimly.
"We know you're worried that someone might notice your little habits, but no one can see your inner thighs,"
I faced the floor, embarrassed, and followed them, The heels were making it difficult to walk in, but I managed just fine.
"Also, speak loudly and clearly when our guests talk to you. You mumble your words," she said.
Once in the living room, I saw a few rogue wolves of high ranking interacting, no one strange.
"Now, socialize with everyone as we wait for the guests, and soon, Arlon will come out to introduce you,"
Rhaegar
I was in the office with Arlon, and my beta and best friend, Nathaniel. The rogues want to be an official pack as they grow in numbers and are well-behaved. It was now up to me to decide whether to stamp my seal and initiate them. I was hesitant. I did my investigation on William, and his businesses were not straight.
"We deserve a seat at the table, we are in one location, and there's more than a thousand of us! It's what your father was working for," he said.
My father was a good man. All he wanted was to see unity among us, no discrimination between rogues and pack wolves. He died during an attack when I was seventeen years old, and I took over his position immediately and governed the packs under him.
"I'm tired," I sighed, " We'll discuss this next meeting. We have seen the community you're building, and it's admirable," I said. Arlon nodded with a smile.
I left the office but stopped when I smelled it again. It belonged to the woman I saw on the balcony.
Her beauty was nothing compared to other women I have seen, and the innocence in her green eyes was something to behold. I wasn't sure if she was my mate because she looked young.
