Chapter 5
Rubby was alone in the room, couldn't get her mind off the underground auction
She can't allow that to happen no matter what, she has to do something to save both her and Chelse and what could that be except running away.
Her eyes widened as it hits her hard that they could actually elope, from what she knows and how she has seen Alex act recklessly so many times she is convinced he is not that smart.
If they elope, going after them might not actually be a simple thing for him.
The twisting of the door knob snapped her out of her thought as she watched Rackel walk inside the room with her deadly glare, just the one she always has on
"What is the bitch looking at?" She mumbled to herself as she sat in front of her mirror, taking off her jacket and getting ready to wipe off her makeup
She suddenly stop and took a quick glance at Rubby was now laying on the bed, facing the opposite direction
"You heard Alex talk about underground auction earlier, right?" Rackel smirked "I can't wait to get your annoying face out of this place, you shitty little thing" She rolled her eyes and continue taking off her makeup using a face wiper
Rubby sat up and was about to give her a reply when Chelse entered the room with her arms folded
"Look who we have here, it's our shitty Hero" a scoff emerged from Rackel's lips "Do we have a problem here?"
"You always have a lot to say, Rackel" Chelse Clicked her tongue and walked to Rubby's bed "Come with me, let's talk"
"Of course you shits need to have a big talk and probably a pity party, the next few days is not gonna be easy, you know?"
""I really can't get used to the fact that you keep calling us shits" Chelse sighed "You are just an omega who has never shifted before and you are a whore who sleeps with Alex who is literally fucking all the female werewolves in this place, now who is the shit?"
"Shut up, you blind fool" Rackel was trembling in anger as a grin appeared on Chelse face, that was what she wanted.
Rackel goes on bullying and looking down on people everyday and now that same has been done to her, she definitely had little to say.
Both Chelse and Rubby walked to the end of the building and found themselves a place to sit
For a moment, there was silence as both were waiting for the other to start the conversation but none of them was willing to do so.
Minutes passed and they were both still seated, Rubby enjoying the view of the stars in the sky and Chelse enjoying the cool breeze
Finally, Rubby decided to say something
"Thanks for earlier" She said after clearing her throat
"What for?" Chelse feigned ignorance
"For silencing Rackel"
"She deserved it, such a bitch" Chelse huffed and Rubby chuckled
"By the way, You said we needed to talk. What is it about?" Rubby decided to ask what she had curious about for the past few minutes
"Oh, it's nothing. I just wanted to get you out of that room even if it's just for a while, I couldn't stand the way Rackel was talking to you" Chelse sighed deeply and smiled faintly "since we are here, I guess it's time we start saying goodbye"
"What are you talking about?" Rubby jerked up "Goodbye?"
"You heard Alex talk about the underground auction, once that happens, we won't be seeing each other again"
"No, we can actually work this out" Rubby moved closer to Chelse and held her hand "We can run away to somewhere far away where no one knows us and we can start a new life there, what do you think?"
There was a moment of silence as Chelse took a little time to think about it
"Do you think we can do this?" She whispered
"Of course we can" Rubby smiled, she was at ease that Chelse agreed to elope with her.
She already made up her mind, if Chelse had gone against it then she would also wait.
She can't leave without Chelse
"When do we leave?" Chelse asked curiously
"How about Tomorrow evening. There's an abandoned cabinet inside the woods, it's about 5 minutes walk from here. Can you wait for me there? I promise not to keep you waiting" Rubby assured her while holding her hands.
The next day came, and just like she had been told Chelse packed her things and set out to the woods without anyone noticing. Even though she is blind, she is so extraordinary that she does not need anyone to guide her to the place she was going.
In few minutes, she was at the abandoned cabinet.
Rubby also packed her loads and walked stealthily out of the room.
In order not to be caught by her greatest Nemesis, Rackel, she had drugged her drinks earlier and put her to a deep sleep.
The only problem she had at the moment was Alex and his monstrous looking Men.
But if Chelse was able to avoid them all, then so would she.
She decided to go through the back door which she thought won't be guarded and of course her hunch was right
The men guarding the back door were now with their colleagues gambling.
She heaved a sigh of relief as she set out to the woods, on her way she felt someone following her but whenever she turns back, it would always seem like she is the sensitive one.
In few minutes, she was at the cabinet with Chelse
"Am I late?" She asked on her arrival
"Yeah, you are a minute late" Chelse teased.
They both chuckled and held their bags tightly
"We should leave before Alex notice we are missing" Rubby suggested and just as they both turned to leave, there was Alex standing with his arms folded and a little smirk on his face.
Of course he was not alone, his men were with him all holding weapons
Rubby's eyes widened as she clenched her fist, she must have underestimated Alex
"Why do you look so surprised to see me?" Alex scoffed "Do you think you can escape from me? No, it's not possible"
He suddenly put on a deadly glare, cracking his knuckles
"Let's go back, I need to teach you two a big lesson".
