Chapter 3 Kevin’s Woman

Olivia’s perspective.

I sat on the toilet seat for a while, taking my time before leaving. As I pushed the door, a group of recently relieved Mafia men came out from the men's restroom, reeking of alcohol. The bald head leading them, saw me in the mirror, and wore a lecherous smile.

"Oh, such a beautiful girl in the casino. How come I've never seen you before? People from the red-light district go looking for trouble, they are hiding from me."

He stuffed his dirty genitals back into his pants and smirked at me. His eyes and hands landed on my buttocks together. "Wow, it's tight and round, I would definitely have a great time with just a few thrusts."

One of his followers stuttered, "Ben, Jack just died. Let's not cause trouble. This girl probably belongs to someone."

Ben ignored him and tried to lift my skirt. I seized the opportunity and fiercely clawed at his eyes, the most vulnerable spot.

Caught off guard, he screamed in pain and covered the gushing blood, "You damn woman! I was being generous, and you dare attack me!”

I quickly ran back to the private room, locking the door from inside. Kevin and Luke were talking, paying no attention to me. Just as I reached the sofa, the door was violently kicked open.

The force shook the chandelier hanging from the ceiling, and a few dark figures rushed in, with Ben leading them. Kevin lowered his voice and glanced over, avoiding the light, his face plunging into darkness.

Luke recognized, the man barging into their VIP room, but couldn't understand what was going on. Holding his cigarette, he asked, "Ben, did you go to the wrong door?"

Ben spat on the floor, "A woman attacked my father and she entered this room."

Kevin turned his head to look at me, noticing the folds in my dress, but remained silent.

Luke took a drag from his cigarette, its ember burning brightly, and lit another. "What do you mean?"

"Are you her man?" Ben sounded impatient. "What's the deal? I ask for her, and you don't hand her over?"

Luke adjusted his pants, stood up with a fake smile, and said, "What I say doesn't count. I have to listen to Kevin."

He lowered his head to seek Kevin's guidance, and the latter's expression grew increasingly menacing. I had been with Kevin for almost half a year, but it was the first time I saw him look so fierce.

A chilling word squeezed through his teeth, "Outrageous."

The next second, Luke drew his gun and aimed it at Ben's head.

“You! Kevin's woman, who the fuck do you think you are? Daring to come and take her?"

Ben didn’t like being mocked, his temple throbbed. He wanted to see who was giving the orders. He took two steps forward and Luke's trigger was pulled. The bullet flew past Ben’s head, sinking into the wall behind him.

"Ben, haven’t you enough to deal with on the East Side? I advise you not to come any closer," Luke called out.

Luke named names, and Ben's lackeys were not to be trifled with. They drew their guns, and the two groups confronted each other.

I trembled, watching Kevin's expression. He remained calm, drinking leisurely, a hint of malice in his brow.

The standoff in the private room was interrupted by a sharp ringtone. Ben's lackey handed him the phone, and with a furrowed brow, Ben reluctantly answered.

As soon as he picked up, he stiffened at whatever was said on the other end. He glanced at me, licked his front teeth, and said, "Rowan's woman? Why haven't I heard about this?"

I could clearly feel Kevin's anger intensify. Without wasting words, the person on the other end made a harsh remark and hung up. Ben's face turned pale.

"Damn unlucky," he muttered.

He seemed to fear the other party. Without hesitation, he ordered his lackeys to stand down and angrily walked away. After the door closed, Luke pulled back the safety bolt, casually slipping it into his pocket.

"Kevin, he’s the most mysterious figure in this territory. They don't know who he is. If he reveals himself, it'll scare Ben to death."

Kevin asked, "Who made the call?"

Luke speculated it was from Rowan.

Kevin was puzzled. "Rowan never shows up in person. He looks down on these gangsters."

I clenched my trembling fists. Every word Luke spoke made my heart pound. Within moments, Kevin snapped his tie and commanded.

"Take off your clothes."

My lips turned instantly pale. I couldn’t disobey him, slowly unbuttoning and stripping piece by piece. If he didn't say stop, I kept going until only my underwear remained.

Luke looked dumbfounded, and the other lackeys who had arrived later were also stunned. Suddenly, Kevin reached out his hand and pulled me closer.
