While we were sitting in the café, my friends began asking questions about what had happened in the meeting and why I had handcuffed Fred. I knew it was time to share the details with them.

"Nana, tell us what craziness it was to handcuff Fred!'' Helô inquired, clearly curious.

I took a deep breath before starting to explain. "I can't believe I had the courage to do that. At the moment, I didn't think, I just acted. That Fred is an idiot!"

"You were totally impulsive," Fifi said, pointing to my personality.

"Yeah, Fifi, you know how I am. I don't take any nonsense, and that Fred deserved to hear some truths," I replied.

Helô intervened, sharing her concern. "Nana, we called you a bunch of times. We were really worried about you after you left the auditorium."

"Oh, darn! Now that you mentioned the call, I remembered my bag. I left it in that jerk's car," I said, realizing that I had forgotten my bag in Fred's car.

I was reluctant to have to face him again, but I knew I needed to retrieve my bag.

"Girls, let's go get my bag!" I suggested, determined to solve this problem as well.

"Get it where, Nana?" Daiana asked, looking doubtful.

Check the tracker, and we'll find out where he went. Remembering that we had a location tracking app we used among ourselves to meet up, I suggested checking the tracker to find out where Fred's car was. It was the only way to get my bag back without having to confront him again personally.

Fifi quickly took out her phone and opened the tracking app, entering the information. In seconds, she found the current location of the vehicle.

"He's at an address not far from here," Fifi said, showing the map on her phone. "We can go there and get your bag."

We arrived at the address indicated by the tracking app, finding a building with a beautiful facade and the inscription "Art Life." The app showed that my phone was inside, and I wasted no time entering the building.

"I think this is it!" Fifi said, confirming our suspicion.

I wasn't in the mood to wait, so I entered the building determined to grab my bag and put an end to this situation once and for all.

"Easy, Nana!" Daiana warned me, trying to calm me down.

However, my determination was strong, and I stormed through the building like a hurricane. All I wanted was to grab my bag and close this chapter of my life once and for all.

I entered without even looking around, and everyone stared at me intrigued because they knew I was the woman who, just a few hours ago, was handcuffed to Fred.

A woman with a big smile approached me. I looked at her suspiciously, but in the end, she just pointed me to where to find Fred.

I went up the stairs, where the woman indicated, and soon saw his room. I left pushing the door and got scared because he was in a meeting.

As soon as he saw me, his expression changed.

"Gentlemen, let's wrap it up here!" Fred said to the men, who stood up one by one and left the room while looking at me suspiciously.

As soon as everyone left the room, it was my turn.

"Who do you think you are to make me wait all this time?" I questioned, my voice filled with indignation.

And he retorted, "And who does the miss think she is to invade my office?"

The tension between us was palpable, and it was clear that our conversation wouldn't be easy. I was determined to confront him and resolve this situation once and for all.

The argument between us was about to escalate, and I had no intention of backing down.

"I'm not one to patiently wait while someone keeps me waiting for endless minutes!" I retorted, crossing my arms and glaring at him angrily.

Fred sighed, clearly annoyed by my presence in his office. "Couldn't you just wait, Luana? I was in an important meeting!"

"Important meeting?" I repeated, mocking. "I don't know what's more important than resolving this situation once and for all."

He seemed to hesitate for a moment before finally giving in. Fred opened a drawer and took out my bag, handing it to me.

"Here's your bag," he said with a disdainful expression.

I grabbed my bag and looked at him with a triumphant gaze. "This is the least you can do after everything you put me through."

Without giving him a chance to respond, I left the room, leaving him with that jerk face staring at me. My friends were outside, waiting anxiously.

Leaving Fred's office, with the door slamming shut, I could feel the curious glances and whispers of the people around us. They were clearly intrigued and wanted to know more about me and the situation they had just witnessed, but I had no interest in providing explanations.

"Let's get out of here," I repeated to my friends, my voice still laden with irritation. "I don't want to spend another minute in this place."

"Fred, I don't want to hear that name ever again in my life. This matter is closed," I declared firmly, determined to leave everything behind.

"That's the way to go, Nana!" Fifi agreed.

While my friend spoke, Daiana also expressed her support for the decision to move forward, and I felt grateful to have friends who stood by me, regardless of the messes I got myself into.

"Okay, now let's go!" Fifi requested, ready to leave that place behind.

"Oh, girls, I'll have to go pick up my car at the college," I mumbled, realizing the inconvenience of leaving my car at the educational institution.

"Serves you right for being so impulsive!" Daiana joked, eliciting laughter among us as we left the scene.

As we headed towards the college to retrieve my car, the feeling that something unexpected was about to happen continued to haunt me. However, before we could reach our destination, a phone call completely changed the course of events.

My phone rang, and upon answering, a familiar voice echoed from the other end of the line, leaving me completely stunned.

"Luana, we need to talk. I'm coming back," the voice said, and my heart started to beat faster. It was a twist I could never have predicted, and I knew that my life was about to take an unexpected and tumultuous turn.
