Chapter 6
Araceli POV
"Grandma, I came back this time to talk to Silver Group about a business deal."
I opened my bag and took out a document.
I put the document on the table and said, "I studied computer programming in college. During these five years of further study abroad, I developed an artificial intelligence software called "Creaty". I am looking for a partner and would like to work with Silver Group."
Evelin rolled her eyes with disdain. "Excuse me, who are you? Are you a technical expert? Do you have the degrees of those engineers in our Silver Group? Why should we work with you?"
I narrowed my eyes.
Evelin continued to say, "Silver Fang is a top ten group in New York. Do you know how many companies are waiting to cooperate with us? Why should we choose your stupid software? Just because you were once the eldest daughter of Eclipse?"
Veronica was about to say something when she was interrupted by my eldest uncle, Keegan Felton. He was also Evelin's father.
Keegan stepped forward. "Mom, Araceli is my niece. I'd love to help her, but this matter is really serious. We can't support her unconditionally just because she's our family. Now Silver Group is struggling to enter the AI market. We can't ruin everything because of Araceli."
Evelin nodded and glared at me. "Silver Group has already spent a huge amount of money on AI software from overseas, and it will be put into production soon."
She sneered, "Araceli, come on, we all know that you are trying to use this to ask Grandma for money. It's not a big deal, but why do you have to say that you want to work with our company?
"Since you've been away for so many years, there's really no need for you to come back. Who knows what you've been doing out there all these years?
"Moreover, you're not Silver Fang's daughter now. You brought shame to our family!"
Evelin stared at me up and down and rolled her eyes.
Veronica heard this and was furious.
Before Veronica could say anything, a soft voice rang out.
It was Krish, but he had always been a quiet boy.
Krish stepped forward and looked up at Keegan. "Mr. Felton, right? May I ask if Silver Group's main software is Link26 made by Drew Company?"
Keegan frowned. "How do you know that?"
Krish nodded and continued, "This software is good, but it's not fully functional and can't receive many complex commands. Do you know EP300 of TransAl Group? It comes with a better processor compared to Link26." Krish said, "If Silver Group wants to enter the AI market, I advise you better not to choose Link26."
I looked at my boy and smiled with pride.
Although Krish was only five years old, he said these words to Keegan with determination and confidence in his eyes.
What he said shocked everyone. They all looked at each other, unable to believe that this was something a little kid would say.
Keegan frowned. He knew what Krish said was true.
I believed Keegan had listened to those experts mention the defects of Link26, but the AI market had just developed, so Silver Group could only choose it.
The contempt in Keegan's eyes was replaced by shock. "How do you know it? Amazing. An expert did say that to me earlier."
Keegan hadn't expected a five-year-old to know such high-tech stuff as AI softwares.
"My mommy taught me." Krish blinked. "My mommy is known as a software genius in France. She used to work with many big Internet companies. I learned a lot from her. Mr. Felton, if you work with her, you won't be disappointed. My mommy's 'Creaty' is the best AI software in the world now. Many companies wanted to work with her to get exclusive use rights, but she didn't agree."
I gently stroked Krish's head and took him by the shoulders.
In fact, Krish was a real genius.
Krish had been particularly interested in computer technology since he was a child. He became one of the most famous hackers in the world at the age of five.
Of course, we made a lot of money with this.
Krish helped me a lot in inventing "Creaty". Otherwise, I couldn't have made it.
I pushed the contract over and said, "Keegan, you can read the description of the software in the contract first."
Keegan suppressed the shock inside and flipped the contract open.
His eyes instantly widened.
Creaty was far more powerful than Link26. I knew how much effort Silver Group had put into improving Link26's performance.
I look at Keegan's face and smile confidently.
I was sure he'd work with me. This could help Silver Group make a lot of money.
"Araceli, have other companies used this software?"
Keegan asked, ecstatic.
My voice was the usual cool one. "Not yet."
"Araceli, I can sign the contract now! Give me a pen!" Keegan couldn't wait to have a pen brought over.
Evelin's eyes widened. "Dad, are you crazy? Don't you know that Araceli is lying? She and that little boy are lying to you to get your trust! They are liars!"
