Chapter 28
Jonathan had instructed one of his bodyguard to get the private jet ready which he did earnestly. The next minute, Sky was already in front of the jet with his things ready. He couldn't believe that his father was allowing Pixel board with them. This was the highest form of betrayal Sky had ever gotten.
He wished he could fly back home on his own but there was no way he could do that. He wanted to get home faster so he could relieve himself.
"You all set son?" Jonathan called to Sky, jolting him of his thoughts.
"Yes," Sky responded reluctantly, turning to see Jonathan hand in hand with Pixel. A new wave of anger enveloped him when he saw the both of them. He turned immediately, leaving his bag outside and ascended the boarding stairs into the jet, taking his seat.
Jonathan strolled into the jet alongside Pixel who threw a smirk at Sky when they passed him. Sky felt like he had been slapped very hard in the face and his hands were tied from retaliating. He hated the feeling. He tried distracting himself but how could he when the both were right in front him, exchanging kisses.
"You two have some dignity!" Sky said in an aggravated tone when he couldn't take it anymore. He wanted to say more, wanted to cuss and swear at them. But he couldn't out of fear for his father. He turned to window and saw a bodyguard struggling with their bags as he carried into a car that was behind the jet.
Sky tried to suppress his anger, he brought out his phone, but he was scrolling through and was doing nothing meaningful when he shoved the phone back into his pocket.
He sat back in the chair, his gaze out of the window and trying hard not to look at where Pixel and his father sat. But Pixel was only making things hard for him as she giggled incessantly.
It was hell for Sky until they landed in their home. Sky hadn't thought there was anytime he had wanted to get away from a place as much he had been inside the jet. He couldn't wait until the stairs had been put down, when he rushed out of the jet. He didn't wait to acknowledge nor mind the greetings the maid and guards rendered him. The guard at the door turned the knob of the door when he saw Sky approaching.
The guard sensed that Sky wasn't in the right frame of mind. Still he welcomed him home. "Welcome home boss," the guard greeted, but Sky brushed him and made his way into the house. The guard smirked as he closed the door waiting for Sky's father to approach.
Sky walked up to his room, took his clothes off as he jumped into the bathroom. He got back out the moment he got back in to plug in his phone, he had forgot to do that before they left the hotel last night. He searched around for his charger but he couldn't find it. His frustration was beginning to rise when he was taking time to find it. Then it struck him, he had forgotten to unplug it from the socket in the hotel and put it into his bag.
He picked up his phone and texted Raymond. 'i'll be at the hotel by 7. Get the chick ready by then and get me a new iPhone charger.'
He read the text before he hit send and dropped the phone onto the bed. He headed back into the shower, turning the water on until it filled the bath tub. He put his hand under the soap dispenser and pressed a huge amount unto his hand.
He rubbed it in his hands and gently got into the bath tub. He turned the water off and settled into the water, he put his hands on both sides of the bathtub as he relished in the coolness of the water's temperature. After a while, he started to apply the soap on his body. He lathered more soap into his hand repeating the technique for two more bouts.
He sank deeper into the water, using it to wash himself. He opened the drain to let the water out, closed it back and took the facet, washing his body clean. He shut his eyes and retracted his lips inward as he applied the soap on his face and washed it out with the water from the facet.
Done bathing, he walked out of the bathroom naked with water dripping from his body. He stood directly under the AC as the cold seeped into his body. He walked away when he was starting to shiver and grabbed his tone and put it on.
He jumped into the bed that bounced him slightly right back up. He spread his arms and folded it at the back of his head. He was glad to be back home at least. Even though nothing had gone as planned for him. He was going to pick up his agency and get it running again after the ridicule it had faced. The news had been trending ever since they got cancelled and he was a bit scared of going out, knowing that people would try to get pictures and videos of him now more than ever.
He got up and searched his closet for something he could use as a disguise because he needed to get to the hotel to relieve himself. He could have snuck the chick he told Raymond to get ready for him in but he didn't want to risk it with his father even he wasn't on good terms with his father.
Three knocks came on the door while Sky was in the middle of his search. He wiped the perspiration away from his face with a towel before going to open the door.
"Good afternoon sire," the butler greeted holding Sky's luggage in place.
"Good afternoon Steven," Sky responded.
"Your luggage, sire," Steven said going straight to the point.
"Thanks," Sky said, as the butler made his way into the room with the luggage and setting it down. The butler was about to unzip the bag and unpack Sky's things when Sky stopped him.
"No need to, Steven, I can do that myself." Sky said.
"Okay, sire,"The butler nodded his head and took his leave. Sky sighed and walked back to the closet to resume his search.
