Submissive girl
Lucian approached Sarah with his sharp, probing eyes. However, Sarah's success in disguising herself as a maid was not enough to take Lucian's sharp attention off her. He stood before her, staring intently at Sarah.
"He doesn't know," Sarah muttered to herself, trying to maintain composure.
"Not feeling well, Deborah?" asked Lucian in a sarcastic tone, his smile containing disbelief.
Sarah swallowed and tried to maintain her demeanor. "Yes, sir. A little dizzy and weak," she replied hoarsely.
Lucian grinned as if enjoying the situation. "Rest for a while. Then get back to work."
Sarah tried to contain her agitation. "Very well, sir. I apologize, sir. Maybe it's because the task is quite heavy today."
Lucian left the kitchen, leaving a tense atmosphere behind him. When Lucian was out of sight, the other servants breathed a sigh of relief. Some of them gave Sarah a sympathetic look, recognizing how difficult her position was. However, some still looked at her with suspicion.
"Poor Deborah, maybe she really is sick," whispered one of the servants.
However, a more skeptical waiter said, "Or maybe she's pretending to be sick to get out of this job. Who knows?"
Sarah felt the need to explain, "I'm not faking. I'm really not feeling well."
"Alright, alright. But remember, don't rest too long!"
Sarah immediately decided to return to her room, leaving Deborah looking very anxious. Deborah carefully watched every second that passed, worried that Lucian might be the one to open the door.
Suddenly, a familiar voice sounded outside her bedroom door. "Deborah, it's me," Sarah said. Deborah was relieved to hear her friend's voice and immediately opened the door.
"What took you so long?" she asked in a worried tone.
Sarah shook her head. "So long? I haven't even done anything yet. When I wanted to go out for a while, I got stuck in the kitchen. You didn't tell me about the servants' schedule."
"That's because you didn't ask. We should get changed soon."
Another servant, who was in the corridor, silently watched the exchange of words between Sarah and Deborah. She felt confused, wondering why Deborah was allowed into Sarah's room.
"Why did Deborah get in there?" she muttered in confusion.
While Sarah and Deborah were busy changing, someone knocked gently on Sarah's door. "Who?" asked Sarah, stopping what she was doing for a moment.
The door to Sarah's room jerked slightly, producing a small gap that allowed her head to emerge. With great care, a servant delivered the message, "Sorry to disturb, this is a parcel from Mr. Lucian."
Sarah, with limited hospitality, accepted the message. "Thank you. You can leave now."
The servant nodded politely before leaving the room with slow steps. Sarah and her best friend, Deborah, who were present in the silence, immediately returned to their activities. Simultaneously, they rushed to change their clothes.
"After you get out of here, you have to pretend to be sick. Got it? Put on the mask I was wearing earlier!" he ordered.
Deborah nodded submissively, swallowing. Quickly, she strode towards the servants' sleeping quarters.
Meanwhile, Sarah sat on the edge of the bed, carefully opening the letter and parcel Lucian had sent. Her gaze drifted to the beautiful letters stringing together careful words.
"I know, you're not sick. So, you should wear these clothes. I'll be in your room soon. Get ready for tonight," Lucian said through a curious tangle of words.
Sarah frowned, signaling disapproval, but was curious about the content. With a sigh, she continued reading.
She opened the shirt Lucian had given her, surprised at how revealing it was. A shocked expression crossed her face, making her think of her fate of being involved with Lucian.
"That perverted werewolf. That's right. I have to wear this to serve him?" thought Sarah, her eyes scrutinizing the clothes Lucian had chosen for her.
As night falls, the atmosphere of Sarah's room turns dark and mysterious. The dim lights created an atmosphere befitting of the burgeoning secret.
Lucian, with his sharp charm, entered Sarah's room with sure steps. His eyes pierced into the darkness, finding Sarah's figure waiting for him with a mixed feeling of admiration and discomfort.
"Thank you for this gift, Mr. Lucian," Sarah greeted him sweetly, though in her heart, she felt a shiver of tension.
Lucian smiled, looking at Sarah with an intensity that thrilled her. "I'm glad you like it. You lied to me, didn't you? You weren't sick, were you, yesterday?"
Sarah smiled faintly, trying to hide the discomfort behind her sweet expression. "I really wasn't feeling well, sir. I dare not lie to you."
Lucian sat gracefully in a chair, his eyes traveling across the elegantly decorated room.
"Would you rather be a submissive girl, Sarah?" asked Lucian, trying to understand the sudden change in Sarah's demeanor.
Sarah nodded, her eyes staring at the floor. Lucian was puzzled by Sarah's sudden transformation into a more submissive figure.
"If that's the case, why aren't you wearing the clothes I sent you?" Lucian asked as he stared intently at Sarah.
"I'll be wearing them soon. I just need a minute to go to the toilet," Sarah replied softly.
"Sarah, you know very well what would happen if you suddenly decided to run away?"
"I understand, Sir," Sarah said as she quickly left the room for the toilet.
Sarah pondered with her sharp gaze, trying to formulate a complicated plan in her mind. "It feels disgusting, if I have to be a submissive girl. But, I can't fight it either. This is all for the sake of my plan. I should be able to get him to fall asleep. Then, I'll take his cell phone," she thought as she racked her brain.
Lucian, who was sitting in the corner of the room, was watching her with a suspicion that didn't go away. There was a restlessness that plagued his mind, and that curiosity made him unable to stay still. In the darkness of the room, only the sound of Sarah's steps could be heard to break the silence.
While he waited, Lucian picked up his cell phone and started calling someone. "You need to get rid of her immediately. If necessary, kill it!" he said without pity.
Sarah, who had overheard part of the conversation, froze in the doorway. Her heart pounded as she realized that Lucian was not just an empty threat. As it turned out, underneath his wolfish side, Lucian was someone who would actually kill another person if that person upset him.
Esme stepped carefully toward the appointment with Marco. Suddenly, a car zoomed by at high speed.
"Esme, be careful!"
Marco shouted a warning, making Esme reflexively stop her steps. She was so surprised that she looked at the car.
