I visited the tent of the senior oracle. Regardless of any situation that may occur, the oracles of the pack would never leave their tents. They would reside in a separate area from the rest of the wolves.

The elderly woman, sitting in front of me softly called out my name, "Isabella."

The woman held the esteemed title of being the oldest oracle within our pack. Despite having lived for over a century, her eyes continued to radiate with a youthful glow. A glimmer of wisdom and intelligence shone brightly within them.

"Ella," I said, hesitating. "Ella is fine."

"Of course," the oracle replied, gracing me with a gentle smile. She went on, "Ella, you must be aware that you were allowed in the Royal Valley due to your father's reputation."

"Yes," I nodded slightly. I was already aware of what was coming next.

"Since your father, a brave soldier, has passed away, we hope that God will grant him eternal peace. It is a great sorrow for us as well. As his daughter, we hold a special affection for you. However, considering your wolf and its poor abilities, we cannot continue to regard you as a member of the elite class. Therefore, despite our wishes, we are unable to allow you to remain among the royals. I trust you comprehend the situation, don't you?" the oracle asked.

"Yes, I understand," I said, affirming with a nod.

"Despite being partially human, we will not exclude you from this pack as a rogue, because of your father's contribution to the pack. Instead, we are demoting you to the position of an omega. Are you okay with this??" the oracle asked again.

"The oracle really has the talent to convey the harshest decisions, putting on a straight face. No wonder the alpha chose her to deliver the news to me," I thought, observing the woman's blank expression.

"I appreciate everything. I believe I will feel more at ease with the omegas," I answered, getting up from my assigned place.

"Cathy and June will assist you in finding your room at the packhouse and will explain your duties moving forward.," the oracle said calmly.

"I appreciate it. I will take my leave then," I said, lowering my head in a bow.

I exited the tent, unsure of the girls. I had never encountered these two girls before. But I was convinced that they would be better than the royals, at the very least. I no longer wished to reside in the Royal Valley anyway. I was aware of their disdain towards me.

As I looked around, I spotted two teenage girls, about 15 to 16 years old, standing at a distance. A friendly smile formed on their lips when they saw me. They hurriedly came toward me.

"Excuse me, Ms. Ella?" inquired the individual with blonde hair. They appeared younger than me, yet exuded a significantly more refined and graceful demeanor.

"Yes," I responded as politely as I could. My mind was in a terrible state, but it was the first time someone in this pack had spoken to me so warmly, aside from Uncle Zaden.

"I am Cathy!" one of them cheerfully introduced herself.

"My name is June! Shall we head to the packhouse? We'll be sharing a room. I couldn't be more thrilled! I have never been this close to a royal before," the other girl exclaimed with great excitement. I gazed into her stunning hazel eyes.

"I no longer hold a royal status, instead, I am merely an omega now," I murmured softly, with a hint of sadness. I felt a sense of shame, as I knew I did not match their expectations of the person they were anticipating to meet.

"We are already aware of that. We know of all the recent events. Certainly, there have been changes, but that doesn't alter the truth that your father was an exceptional warrior and how amazing both of your parents were. In the Omega Valley, your mother was highly regarded by everyone. Despite being human, she showed great kindness towards the wolves of lower status. And, if it wasn't for your father, we would have been in a dire situation until this moment," Cathy expressed.

I looked at Cathy in surprise. Her words touched me deeply, causing a painful sensation in my chest as I remembered the loss of my parents.

June cheerfully asked, "Are you curious about how we acquired this information?"

"Y-yes?" I asked hesitantly.

"We were in that town when the Sapphires attacked. Because of your father, we got the time to evacuate. We were assured that it was the end for us," Cathy said.

I simply nodded, experiencing a mix of joy and sadness. Tears streamed down my face as Cathy reached out and held my hand.

"We may not have the best room, but trust me, we'll have a great time together," June said as her eyes flickered with excitement.

I nodded once more and used the sleeves of my shirt to wipe away the tears from my face.
