Chapter 4
SITARA
I screamed, I screamed like a little girl whose father bought her an ice cream cone for the first time.
“Kyle, I have a wolf. I have a wolf, and she spiked to me.”
I said, grabbing him by his shirt.
“That's great.. amm by chance what did she say to you ?”
“Ohh," she said, mate.”
“MATE or mates.”
“Mate.”
“I believe she made a mistake because you have two.”
He pointed behind me, and I almost fainted, I'm mated to the twin Alphas.
They both made their way over to us, Travis eyes sending darts in Kyle's direction, and Tristan gave me a cold stear.
“You….”
Before he could finish the sentence, both their attention was diverted somewhere eles, it's as if they were talking to someone through mind link.
“We would speak after. You keep your hands to yourself.”
Travis made a small space between Kyle and I before they both walked away towards the door. After that little show, I tried paying them little to no mine, but it was hard when you could feel four pairs of eyes piercing through the back of your head.
“ Who would have guessed you would end up with two Mates, two hot ones at that go sitara.”
Mariah hugged me.
“Sitara, I'm so happy for you. I know this has always been something you thought would have never happened, but it did.”
She said.
I could only smile like an idiot as I'm still trying to come to terms with what just happened.
“Let's go find kyle.”
“Ohh, he is right….”
I hadn't even noticed when he left from beside me, Mariah and I fit our way through the crowd as we made our way to the outside of the tent.
As we approached the exit, my shoulder bumped against someones causing some of the liquid in their glass to spill on his jacket.
“I'm, sorry.”
Taking one of the napkins I had stuck away in my purse, I began wiping as much of the liquid I could off, our fingers brushed against each other.
My head snapped back with a jerk, my eyes closed shot, and the sight of blood and a lone wolf running behind another came to me.
Tye man tugged his hand from mine and ran off into the crowd.
“Hey, you ok?”
Tristan asked as he stood beside holding me in place.
“Yeah, I, I could have sworn I saw…”
My mind drifted back to the vision.
“Saw what.”
“Is everything OK? What's wrong?”
Travis was at our side in a second.
“Nothing, I'm fine, just bumped into someone.”
“You have to be more careful, babe.”
“Babe?”
Both my parents repeat, and I couldn't help but be embarrassed.
“Mom, Dad, what are you doing here, I'm not saying you can't be here, I justt….”
“We came because you left your cellphone at home. Also, a lady called she said she was looking for her daughter… kelly.”
Mom hands the phone over to me and I daily the last number that called.
“Hello, Sitara, it's Kelly's mom. Kelly didn't come home. Did you happen to see her.”
“I saw her before I left yesterday. She was going to meet up with someone. I think she said she had found her mate.”
“Her mate?”
“You didn't know she found her mate?”
“No I didn't. She didn't tell me.... I'm I, I will inform Alpha Tony when he returns.”
“I could inform him if you like. He's here at the ball.”
“Thank you, sitara. I just, I just don't know what to do. She's my only daughter, you know. If anything happens to her, I don't know what to do.”
“I'm sure she I'd fine, don't worry ok.”
“What's wrong, Sitara?”
Travis asked.
“It's Kelly. She's gone missing. I have to speak to Alpha Tony.”
“OK we would take you to speak to him.”
“Thank you, Alphas.”
My nerves got the best of me once again. This isn't like kelly.For the little time I have known her, she never seemed like the type to run away.
“Listen, it's going to be ok, just relax.”
They both said nsync as they tried to calm me down.
“Ok.”
“ Alpha Tristian, Alpha Travis. I was just about to find you. I'm sorry, but I have to leave one of my pack members missing.”
Alpha Tony said.
“ We know,our mate just informed us that she and the young wolf are friends. The girl's mother just called asking if she knew her whereabouts.”
“Ohhh.. well.i could assure you that I'll do my best to find her Sitara. This is not like Kelly. She isn't one to run away. She was supposed to be here tonight so we could finally be together..”
“Wait your Kelly's mate, didn't you meet up yesterday. She said she was going to meet her mate after class.”
“That's impossible.”
“Why?”
“Because Kelly's birthday is today, she is officially eighteen today, so she would be able to find her mate. I knew I should have told her as soon as I found out I just didn't want to speak to her, you know.”
“So then who the hell did she meet?”
“I fear she may have met a stealer.”
“A stealer ?”
“That's not possible. The last stealer that walked is female, and she is married to her mate.”
“I know that's why it's more confusing.”
“Listen, let's not get ahead of ourselves. She could just really be with her other mate.”
“I highly doubt that, if she was, I would have felt the connection, I would feel if they kissed, touched hands, if they…”
“You have a point.”
Travis said.
“I'm sorry, Alphas, but I have to take my leave, I will do my best and keep you updated.”
After Alpha Tony left, I took a seat. My mind was now all over the place. The worst came to mine, and fear kicked in.
What if something bad happened to her? What if she….
“I can't with your provision. I'd like to leave, please.”
“Do you want us to take you home..”
“No, my parents are still here. i'll leave with them.”
They both looked at each other, and then at me, they looked like they were trying to hold back, refrain from saying something.
“OK. We will see you tomorrow.”
Before leaving, I found Mariah and Kyle and told them what happened. They both wanted to head home with me, but I refused.
Mariah had just dound her mate, and Kyle looked like he had finally started enjoying himself, who am I to spoil their fun.
“Get in, Sitara.”
Dad opens the door and pulls my seat belt over me. He gives me one of his reassuring smiles before closing the door and taking his seat in the driver's chair.
“Don't worry, honey, she would be fine.”
Mom said as she noticed I had gone silent and was stearing out the window. Silence filled the car for a little while after that.
“So, Sitara, why did the Alpha call you babe?”
Dad asked, taking me by surprise.
“Because they are my mates.”
“They, you're mated to both of them?”
“Yeah.. im ,mated to them both.”
How the hell did I end up with two mates, let alone twins.
