In a world plagued by chaos, Christopher Sylvester discovers he possesses unique powers granted by a mysterious system.

Driven by a desperate need to save his ailing mother, he joins a group of survivors led by Sarah. As they navigate a transformed world, a mysterious portal opens up and sucks them into it, bringing them to an unknown world, leaving no access back to earth.
